I hope that means Pistons get Tom Izzo or Bill Laimbeer is the next head coach I have been wishing for that too happen since 2001. I doubt Joe or Davidson is going to let Flip go. I have never been crazy about Flip as coach of the Pistons.

Seriously, this better not be a distraction while we're in the middle of a playoff run, just like our last coach in 2005.

Glad to see Flip has a backup plan in case he doesn't get to the Finals. :lol:

I think they are. I guess they were hoping the 'Stonz made an early exit from the Playoffs and Flip would suffer an axing.
