So that's a real alternate? Because the pic is from NBA Live 2006 it looks like, those games can often have alternate jerseys made specifically for the game... Anyway, if it is real, it looks kinda lame, but better than the lightning bolt jersey. The lightning bolt jerseys are ugly, but we seemed to kick major ass whenever we wore them last year.

they're not really red...more maroon. i prefer the blue ones better but it's not too big of a deal...as long as they remember to pass to each other and not the clippers :-\.

I was thinking, ya know what would be a sweet alternate? In paying homage to the bad boys a black jersey with orange lettering outlined with white. I know I'll probably be met with some resistance here, but I'd like it. The sides would be two large grey stripes with a skinny white stripe seperating them.

I think the Pistons plan to unveil these on 11/23 against Denver. They've got this count down of "red returns" on Pistons.com for that game.

Red roadies aren't new for the Pistons, and there has yet to be one that looks good on the road. What bothers me is that I'm going to own playoff games with these damn uniforms (Indiana, Miami, Seattle, Phoenix, and Dallas have used their alternates in the playoffs). I was afraid of this with all the alternate talk this last summer.

Here's another look.

Pistons gonna look like some magic markers wearing those things. Yuck. I stick by my original opinion, and kind of wish we still had those nasty lightning bolt jerseys.

this is going to be easy. we'll just blind our opponents with those things on :thumbsup:. i really don't know how i feel about men wearning bright red, i guess i'll have to wait til the game to find out.

Well at least we won't be wearing those when we play the Clippers...Not a big fan of those red alternates, but I do like them better than the lightning bolts. C'mon Davidson, black alternates to symbolize the Bad Boys! Make it happen!

I actually really like the new uniforms...save for that blasted P down there on the leg part. I hate the design of it. oh and Zeke thx bunches for posting a pic of Darko in the new uni. Much appreciated by me. hehe altho he looks like he is mad about something but o well still a good one....

I didn't like the white lightning bolt jerseys from last year, but I have to say they don't look bad in navy blue.

I'm with you. The throwbacks from last season were really cool. I liked the look of the lightning bolts, not to mention we had some great games playing in those. I'm not super excited seeing that picture, but I really won't be able to tell until tonight when I can see them on the players.

Btw, what game is that, and for what system? NBA Live 06 for the PS2 doesn't have any Pistons alternate for this season, at least that I know of...

I don't mind them, although I don't understand why they keep changing them. True, these things need to be revamped every once in awhile, but this seems to be happening too often for me. The colors pretty much stay the same, one more dominant than the other two....but when you factor in the frequent logo changes the Pistons have, you get way too complicated. If I went out last year and bought some Pistons stuff, it would be basically obsolete this season. I think that's okay for the fans, but I don't think the team itself needs to have a new look every time they step out onto the floor...

I'd wait until at least next season to see if they survive. The lightning bolts were pretty popular, and now they are obsolete... Although I'd much rather have one of those. I don't think I mind them now as much, but until I see them from my nosebleed seat on my couch watching my TV, who knows? Maybe the reflection of the jerseys on the court will overshadow the reflection of the LED ad-board that runs around the perimeter of the upper decks now.

i like all pistons jerseys. i just want to have the one that they have right now. even if they don't wear it next season it would still be cool to have. it would become a throwback. throwbacks are awsome :rock:

it seems like everything at the palace will eventually be glow in the dark-starting with the new jerseys. that ad-board doesn't help matters either. i think i'm gonna have a seizure everytime i look at it <_<.
regardless, they're here to stay for atleast a year. and then they'll expect you to shell out $80+ for another jersey.

I like the new RED look, it represent DANGER in my eyes so i hope the rest of the league see the Pistons as dangerous too.
