It was a good movie but i agree with my friend some of the scripting was a bit weak to an extent like not enough emotion was put into it and come back lines were corny but other than that i enjoyed the movie....and also my mom was complaining the whole day so it kinda ruined it for me but meh *shrugs* I thought it was gross when the sith lord turned ugly i think that was the most disgusting thing i could ever see.....lol and i thought how padame died was rediculous but reasonable ah well anyway thats my opinions on the movie

I agree that some points of the movie were not up to par, but after 30 years, it is the best Star Wars movie I have seen since the originals came out. Just think if R2-D2 had that inginuity in 4, 5, and 6 he might have been more of a use instead of comic relief. How old do Wookies get. Chewbacca could not have been that young in 3, so imagine how old he is in 4. You getting sick when the Emperor turned ugly was good. I think the point got across to you. The dark side is sickening. Just my opinion. All these movies did was explain where Luke and Leia came from. Now, the quesion is whether he will make 7, 8, and 9. He says he won't, but why make all your staff sign a hush order about the 3 movies if you are not going to make them. George Lucas is a @$$, but a genious. He has made some of the best films of all times, but has worked his popularity to make a lot of money. His THX qualitly of sound is the standard for today's sound. Just my opinion.

I saw it.
Wasnt my absolute favorite of them all but was a definate inprovement on Episode 3..and no Jar Jar!! Meesa Nolikes That annoying guy
Love story was a bit mundane but was viable material to fully understand the emotional turmoil brewing within Anakin that would eventually lead to his turning to the darkside.
Now has anyone seen hardware wars?

True. Very True. *shrugs* I just thought the 3rd one seemed kind of, Well Really, Corny.-lol
I mean I like Obi Wan and all as an actor but it seemed so...fake.
The first ones with leia and luke and all them, for me at least, put me in the moment. Kept me wanting to see what happened next -even after I've seen it 100 billion times. lol I'm a big dork, but I loved the older ones then these 3 new ones.
They weren't THAT bad though (the newer versions). But they were still kindof bad at the same time, not my favorite I guess. *shrugs*

Let us be honest. Nothing will every compare to the original 3 movies when George Lucas had to put a lot of effort into his ideas. The movies were a passion, a dream. Now the prequils was to finish his story and that is all. To tell the begining. There was no more passion in the telling of the begining, just pure enterprise. I think George Lucas is a financial genius and knows how to play it up to its fullist. I will never forget the first time I saw Yoda, or the first time R2 got shocked. The prequils are not bad, but definetely not great. I will still love em, just becuase they are Star Wars.
May the force be with you!

The key to that fuzzy feeling is nostalgia..
the current generation will see these current three movies as the "great ones" but probably wont have the same zest for the old ones.
One of those, you- had- to -have -been -there things to fully appreciate it.
Like John Cougar Mellencamp's Jack and Diane. If you're getting old like me you will probably remember that song fondly..not for the song but for the time it takes you back to. Mariah Carrey (I think?) did a remix of it and Ive heard alot of younger people say it is SOO much better now...but hey, they werent there when it first came out..they could never know the feeling that song envokes. Not until they grow up and hear that "special" song, or hear that phrase, or even smell that smell that takes them back...
There's my two pennies, dont spend em all in one place now
