Title: It Starts
Description: Stephan begins his journey [PG-13]

Ice Cold Glalie - November 4, 2007 09:49 PM (GMT)
What had just happened? Stephan thought to himself as he walked aimlessly. He had no idea what he had just done. He knew heard the word 'Oracle Zone', the woman who gave him his new Pokčmon had spoke these words aswell.

If I had just stayed away from the library. Stephan thought to himself. He couldn't understand what was going on, even though he was a master thief, he wasn't the brightest bulb in the lamp. The Pokčmon he had recieved was very emotionless, like him!

"Lets go Voltorb." Stephan said, he began to walk, not knowing which way he was going.

Tan-Tan - November 6, 2007 09:59 PM (GMT)
"Torb," it growled quietly, rolling on the ground without effort. It was like a wheel moving. Above Voltorb was the Oracle Guide the Woman gave to you too. Its horn was like a torch, serving as your light through the darkened place.

Voltorb could not walk, or rather roll quietly. Since the ground was not made into a beautiful, smooth driveway, the road was literally bumpy, receiving a few scratches. It stopped midway, feeling dizzy from the bumpy ride. That didn't seem good.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 6, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
Stephan noticed that his new partner was struggling on the journey. "Voltorb, come to me." He said, the orb Pokčmon hopped over to him, so it wouldn't get anymore dizzy. Even though the orb Pokčmon was rather bulky Stephan picked it up, and began to walk walk with it! "You don't think i'm going to let you do something you are uncomfortable with?" He asked.

"Torb!" Voltorb spoke in it's monotonal voice. Stephan continued to walk, following the Oracle Guide's horn light.

Kari - November 7, 2007 02:00 PM (GMT)
The walk down the path was silent, but you could feel a small sense of affection radiating from Voltorb as you carried it in your arms. What you did wasn't exactly a lot, but it was enough to show that at least you cared as a trainer. As a Pokčmon, Voltorb knew that a trainer's affection meant the most to him. And it was at least happy to have a caring trainer... or be forced to roll for the rest of its journey.

With the help of the glowing horn from the Oracle Guide, your path into the Area was illuminated, making your journey much easier. The night was still young, but that meant that more dangerous Pokčmon would be lurking around in the dark, searching for a prey or two. You shivered at the thought of it, and even seemed to spot a shadow stir past the dark surroundings.

You were stunned, stopping in your tracks and staring at what Voltorb took to be just a dark backdrop. The Pokčmon gave a small cry, which brought you back to earth. You continued down the path, but you couldn't stop worrying about the shadow that darted past you...

Or was there even a shadow?

Ice Cold Glalie - November 8, 2007 03:51 PM (GMT)
Stephan was either going rather insane, or he was being followed, or his mind was making something up to amuse itself, he was going to have to find out. He placed Voltorb onto the floor. "Stay beside me!" He then said rather sternly, but still calmly. He then spoke louder. "Who's here?" Stephan seemed to be phsyically shaking. It was either anticipation, or it was fear. Stephan had never felt this feeling before, he was happy that his Pokčmon was by his side.

Tan-Tan - November 10, 2007 02:40 AM (GMT)
Even though told to idly remain on the ground, Voltorb was already releasing sparks of electricity, glaring at whatever was stalking them. It was ready to fire at the stalker, obviously not appreciating its presence like you. Still, you made no move until the shadow revealed itself. It hasn't been a minute or so though but Voltorb was growing impatient. You can feel your hair standing on its end not of fear but static already.

There was a sharp screech, an ear-splitting screech that made your hands jump and cover your ears before it breaks your eardrum. Instantly after that, flashes of light burst from Voltorb. Voltorb released an electric attack and the Zubat was electrified. The Pokčmon was badly injured, quickly fleeing. Voltorb was unaffected by the screech but reacted very fast upon seeing it come out even though it was not able to identify it yet.

Voltorb started moving to pursue the fleeing Zubat. Should you agree in its plan?

Ice Cold Glalie - November 10, 2007 07:33 PM (GMT)
"I'm with you Voltorb!" Stephan spoke. He picked his Voltorb up and began to follow the Fleeing Zubat. "A Pokčmon is a Pokčmon!" Stephan said as he breathed rather heavily, chasing the flying Zubat was rather tiring. "If we see them, use that attack again." He spoke. I need to find out what that attack is! Stephan thought to himself.

Tan-Tan - November 11, 2007 06:29 AM (GMT)
"Torb," it growled.

You followed the Zubat. The Zubat was flying speedily but you were able to gain on its trail. The electric attack paralyzed it considerably at least. The Zubat fled inside a cave, collapsing in the darkness. Voltorb rolled out of your arms, entering the cave without a thought and lighting things up with a Charge. The Oracle Guide came a bit later, following you inside and its glow helping to light the cave up.

The cave was very small. The ground was dry and the wall was rough and jagged. There seemed to be nothing inside. The light the two had were enough for you to see the whole cave and there was nothing at all.

The Zubat must be hiding a little further in this cave but then, you heard something murmuring behind you and behind you, all you saw was the Oracle Guide...

Ice Cold Glalie - November 11, 2007 07:24 PM (GMT)
"What the?" Stephan spoke. "Did you say something Oracle Guide?" Stephan then questionned. He was totally confused, how had he heard something. Wait a sec. He thought to himself. I didn't think the Oracle Guide could talk!? He then thought on to himself. He was totally and utterly confused.

Tan-Tan - November 13, 2007 10:14 AM (GMT)
Did it ever say something? It didn't even hear you. It didn't even response to your call. It simply stayed on its place as you pause to question it. Its blank face said no to your question though.

esto rimada ya-eh maa vaa

You can hear a chanting song playing. You can hear it, but you swore your ears were not catching anything but Voltorb's rolling. It was almost as if it was coming from your head....

esto rimada ya-eh maa vaa

Your ears caught on something true and existing. It was the screeching sound a Zubat makes. Voltorb wasn't noticing you at all and it didn't seem like it was hearing anything. Maybe it was due to its ability of Soundproof or maybe only you can hear it...in your head.

Voltorb was leaving you behind, immediately going in just to hunt the Zubat down, whatever lies beyond the darkness ahead of you.

The Oracle Guide’s horn blinked faintly. It did not have a very good feeling in this either.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 13, 2007 01:39 PM (GMT)
A sickening feeling jolted through Stephan's stomach and what was even worse was that Stephan's Pokčmon, not hearing the funny song like voice was rolling away. As he continued to walk on, the Oracle Guide began to show it's feelings. Something wasn't quite right here. "Voltorb, where are you?" Stephan then shouted, he wanted his Pokčmon by his side.

Tan-Tan - November 13, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
Your question was answered instantly. You can see flashes of electricity in the darkness, Voltorb's round shape standing out. The Zubat's screeching followed. They must be engaged already in a fight. Voltorb was disappearing from your sight though, getting smaller as it goes deeper to pursue the Zubat restlessly. Your only company was the Oracle Guide...or maybe the mysterious person or creature that may be giving you these weird mind illusions.

However the chanting song seemed to disappear but the noise did not stop. You can hear footsteps and the swishing of knife through the air. Was someone coming up to you? But behind you, there was only the Oracle Guide. You were alone in this place but what were those noises? All of this can be a trick...the enemy must be hiding or something. Are you just growing paranoid? Or maybe this is what your enemy wanted you to think to mask its presence.

The Zubat continued screeching and Voltorb’s constant Electric attack echoing in the lonely cave. You seem to be deaf from it though as the noises in your head dominate.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 13, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
'What the hell is going on?' Stephan thought to himself as he walked on. He seemed to be on the verge of bursting into tears. This was really beginning to freak the theif out. He was never like this when he was stealing and he heard a noise or a voice. Plus Voltorb had disappeared further into the cave. 'I'm gonna die!' Stephan panicked to himself.

Tan-Tan - November 16, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
You become overwhelmed with fear, your heat beating fast as the sound of footsteps become louder. The person was running. You can hear the loud footsteps. You can hear the violent swishing if the tanner knife and then you can hear a loud, screeching scream, your spine shivering and your head cracking from the noise. The noise was too much. It becomes stronger, intense and painful. The footsteps have broken in a mad run. The knife keep on swishing in the air and screams after screams follow. Not only were human voices were trapped in your head but you can hear whining Pokčmon, contorted from being tortured. They scream too, calling for help.

The voices disappeared all at once but silence did not surface at all. You can hear something leaking. It was water, dropping. Then you heard something scratch on a sandpaper. It was a match, lit. You can hear the tiny fire from it hushing the temporary silence. Then it fell on the ground and suddenly, there was an explosion. You could have sworn at that moment that the same thing have happened to you. From the realism of the noise, your mind had thought you burned from the fire, consumed by the flames and then your arm flying off but your body was whole and the same, but the sensation was there.

You can hear it vividly but yours eyes can only see the walls of the cave spinning. The guide had longed sensed your discomfort. Its light had blinked but it could do nothing else.

You can hear ghostly murmurs again. You can hear the footsteps again, the tanner’s knife, the screams, the cries and the leaks of gasoline and the scratching of a match. You were going insane.

Something swooshed past you. The Zubat was electrified, crashing on the ground. Voltorb was soon rolling back, ready to strike at the Zubat for the finishing blow when it had noticed you. It stopped, starring at you, wondering what was going on with you.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 16, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
Stephan was now on the verge of running into the head first into a wall. "Voltorb, finish it!" He spoke, he didn't look at the Ball Pokčmon, or the bat. He stared at the Floor, sort of coughing. He couldn't understand what was going on. He did have his knife what he used for aiding when he stole jewels, but by the sound of it, it was nothing on the knife he kept hearing. 'I am really going insane?' Stephan thought to himself, he was really worried, and he only had a Pokčmon that couldn't hear what was going on.

[Can I just ask, do I have to post some where to get my profile made?]

Tan-Tan - November 17, 2007 11:38 PM (GMT)
[ Updation Station, but I'll announce that stuff later. And man, four minutes and you replied already xD ]

Voltorb blinked, stunned in his place before looking over at the fallen Zubat. The Voltorb jerked, releasing jolts of electricity. The injured Zubat screeched louder. Your ears were growing deaf from the Zubat's screech, drowning even the sounds in your head but then, the screeching was dying; the Zubat was dying. Voltorb gave everything it got and soon the screeching was gone, the Zubat was lying lifelessly like the Oracle Guide. And then, like magic, the sounds in your head vanished without a trace.

Voltorb looked at you, wondering what was going on.

VOLTORB LEVEL-UP TO 6

Ice Cold Glalie - November 17, 2007 11:43 PM (GMT)
"What the hell did I just do!" Stephan then shouted out. "How could I do that to the Zubat?!" Stephan didn't like what was going on, he had feelings, more then that, tears were now running down his face. "Take a rest Voltorb!" He spoke as he returned his Pokčmon to it's spherical home. 'But the noises, and Zubat!' He sobbed even harder. The sound of Zubat's screeches were going to haunt his dreams.

All that Stephan could do was get out. "Oracle Guide, lead me please." He asked, a lot more quiet then he would of. "Direct me with your light!" He then began to walk, staying away from the Zubat's lifeless body.

Tan-Tan - November 19, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
The Oracle Guide did not move. It continued to shed its own little light, enough for the corpse of the bat Pokčmon to remain in light until then. The dead body casted a small shadow beneath is motionless skin and its jaw was still wide opened, looking extremely in pain even in its death.

The Oracle Guide shifted a bit. It had not assumed the role as a guardian at all to redirect you out of this place but it responded to something else. You can hear soft footsteps and this time, you were sure these footsteps were not illusions in your mind. You can see a dark shadow approaching until part of the face was revealed from the Oracle Guide's light.

The man was tall wearing a mask on his face. His black eyes bore dully at you, both arms lying motionlessly on his sides. He had stopped halfway, only making part of his face seen and shadows of his body.

The man was looking at you. The mask on his face was difficult to tell if he was smiling or not. "Yo," he said. His voice was deep, definitely developed. He was years farther from you, and a bit mysterious.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 19, 2007 07:24 PM (GMT)
Stephan stayed absolutely silent. He still couldn't believe what he had ordered his Voltorb to do. He wasn't sure what this person was here for, but the 'Yo' seemed to signify that he was just being polite, so Stephan didn't see the person as a threat.

He just tried to move on, the thought of the Zubat's lifeless body made him physically sick. He just wanted to get away from the body, and do it really quickly.

Tan-Tan - November 21, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
"Hahaha," the man chuckled. "It's rude to stay quiet just like that when an elder is talking to you."

He seemed to have glance at your Oracle Guide since he made a comment about it. "Oh, that thing. I have that too, though mine's livelier. A bit annoying too," he said solemnly.

"ACK!"

You heard something crack from behind, a shrill, girlish voice coming from the mouth of the cave. The man sighed, scratching the back of his head. Before he knew it, the man had fallen face flat on the ground. Something powerful had hit the back of his head.

"Mister Stranger, you left me there!"

The man rubbed his nose. "You always know where I am, you know."

"But that's so mean of you!" Replied the girlish voice.

The man stood up but the thing suddenly let out a ferocious growled. The man ducked for cover, flying his hands above his head. The cave seemed to be aggravated, pebbles falling from the ceiling.

"Shut up you, you're going to kill us both," the man said calmly.

"No, no! I'm going to Roar and Roar until you say sorry!"

"You're embarrassing me to the boy," he said flatly.

"Boy?"

It was then when you saw wings fluttering, a tiny, familiar creature with yellow light beaming up to the tip of its horn. Its wings and face were patterned with the combination of black and yellow though its body remained to be black and white. It was a Masquerain, something like your Oracle Guide except its face and wings were with sparkling colors and with so many reasons...

"Oh hello Mister Boy!" The Oracle Guide said to you. The colored Masquerain looked at your Oracle Guide. "Oh, oh! It's a Kin! Look Mister Stranger, it's a Kin!"

The man stood up, dusting his brown trench coat. "A kin, yea," he said dismissively. "Boy, this is my Oracle Guide."

"Stop calling me that!" The Masquerain snapped back before looking at you. "I'm Star!" She said sweetly.

The man coughed. "I didn't name her..."

Fortunately, the Masquerain didn’t hear, seemingly beaming at you. It still didn’t have a face but it does talk though.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 21, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
The only words that seemed to come to Stephan's mouth was. "Woah, she talks!" He was rather amused by this, he seemed to come out of his shell a little, he seemed to look up, trying to glance at the Oracle Guide. "What an amazing Guide Sir!" Stephan then commented. "I am sorry about being rude, but I am having a little trouble staying in this cave." He seemed rather worried about the death of the Zubat, he imagined being killed by a rogue Crobat, something that he didn't want to happen. "I am Stephan, and this is my Oracle Guide." He spoke, pointing to his guide.

"Have you been here long?" Stephan then spoke up. He seemed to be making small talk, something that he dispised. As he waited for an answer, his Voltorb appeared, it was a little obvious that it was worried about him, even though it didn't show it's emotions, Stephan could feel it worrying. "Don't worry i'm fine." Stephan smiled.

"Sorry Sir, this is my starter Pokčmon, Voltorb." Voltorb rolled up to Stephan's ankles.

"TORBBB!" Voltorb cried, sort of introducing itself to the complete stranger.

Tan-Tan - November 23, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
The yellow Oracle Guide seemed to beam wider as her fluttering golden wings shiver excitedly and rushing to the side of its master. "Did you hear, did you hear? Mister Boy said I'm awesome!"

The man rolled his eyes, pushing "Star" aside with his strangely, gigantic hand covered with a glove. It did not mortally wounded Star or anything but the gigantic right hand was very abnormal. The man then stepped nearer you, enough for the light to reveal that he does have an abnormally troll-like arm though fortunately, his other arm is fine. He had a brown, long trench coat and a black turtle-neck shirt and tattered pants. The man had black, messy hair and blue eyes that could have been handsome if not for his bags under his eyes. The mask covered his mouth though the point of it is also questionable.

"Quite long," the man answered. He glanced at your Voltorb. "Ahhh, so Stephan, you're not some sort of nomad around this place, are you? You looked fresh though. Not many scratches and your clothes are fine compared to mine..." He was looking over you but realizing something, he jerked his head, smiling behind his mask. "I'm Watari." He bowed slightly. "Don’t let my face fool you; I’m thirty-five,” he said, laughing a bit.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 23, 2007 10:10 PM (GMT)
"It is nice to meet you sir." Stephan bowed his head. "Do you have any Pokčmon with you, apart from your guide?" Stephan built the courage up to ask. "Well, I'm new to this trainer gig." He spoke. It seemed that it was a bit obvious, he was clean. Voltorb seemed to be rather amused with Watari's Oracle Guide, Stephan glanced at his Pokčmon, it's eyes seemed to be following the light that was given off by the guide, every so often grunting, in amusement.

Tan-Tan - November 24, 2007 02:37 AM (GMT)
Watari paused, cupping his chin and looking up to think. "Uhh, Pokčmon...that's the one that's behind you, right?"

You turned around and saw to your horror the Zubat's lying corpse.

"Oh, not that kid," Watari said. "That one, the one snarling behind you."

Behind you was a snarling Cranidos, head aimed at you and legs ready to charge like a Tauros. Voltorb went pale, if it was possible to lose blood on its mechanical body. Being an Electric Pokčmon, Voltorb's pretty useless.

"A-re, not good..."

The Cranidos charged and was going to attack you!

Ice Cold Glalie - November 24, 2007 06:15 PM (GMT)
The only thing that Stephan could squeak out was: "Mommy!" He then quickly shook his head. "Voltorb, Tackle attack!" He was now really stuck, since Cranidos was Rock, there was no way this was going to be effective. 'I'm still not sure about Voltorb's move pool' Stephan then thought to himself.

Stephan then looked down to Voltorb, and instead of being white and red, it was just white. "Bloody hell, help me Voltorb!" Stephan shouted, it was this, or have his legs broken by a dinosaur.

Tan-Tan - November 25, 2007 09:36 AM (GMT)
Voltorb braved forward and did a Tackle attack but the Cranidos merely lowered its head and did a Headbutt attack. The ball Pokčmon was easily tossed aside. The Cranidos had more or less thought of the Voltorb as a rock like Geodude, a Pokčmon and a thing that the species are fond of hitting with their stone heads. They don't stop hitting just one though. They hit everything they see in their sight, including you.

"Kid, get back," Watari said. He pushed you back with his gigantic, abnormal hand, standing boldly in front of the Cranidos. Star said nothing, not daring to break the man's concentration. The man eyed at the Cranidos straight in the eye. The Cranidos had a pair of furious eyes, arrogant and determined. The Cranidos was not the type to flee at any cost at all, even its own life it seemed. Watari's fingers were twitching, ready to grab it...

You choked as your collar was pulled and your whole body was dragged in a speed of light. Star was following fast and Watari was running out of the cave. "Sorry kid, most mature thing to do was to run!" He said, his legs so fast that you were out of the cave in no time. The Cranidos was about shocked though before deciding to follow you out of the cave. Watari didn't stop running and dragging you by the collar for quite a while. You can see the Cranidos gaining speed, wrecking all the boulders that was unfortunately on its way. Star sped up to lead the way and without a word, Watari just followed.

Star led Watari to an especially rocky place. Quickly, Watari threw you behind a boulder and he leaned against it. Star hid behind another boulder, ducking as to prevent its light to be seen. The Cranidos stopped by the maze of boulders. One by one, he was going to destroy this.

"Okay boy, this is your chance to beat that Cranidos. Have your Voltorb do some magic..."

You realized all of a sudden that Voltorb was not with you, left behind by the cave.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 25, 2007 07:14 PM (GMT)
"VOLTORB?!" Stephan shouted, totally and utterly terrified. "It's still cave, Watari!" Stephan then said, rather distressed. "The only other I can do is toss a pokeball at it!" Stephan then offered, pulling an orb from his belt and enlarging it. "Otherwise we're stuck." Stephan's voice began to decrease in volume.

'I can't believe that I left Voltorb behind!' He thought to himself.

Tan-Tan - November 29, 2007 12:02 AM (GMT)
The man wasn't even listening to you. He was too busy watching carefully the Cranidos. It was walking about, eying on each boulder suspiciously before suddenly ramming it, breaking it to tiny pieces. The Cranidos was making it hard to know where its next target was going to be. "Well, it wouldn't be much of a help anyway," he said, muttering. He blinked, looking at you. "Electric doesn't work on Ground, right? But I think they still work on Rock-type."

He sighed. "But your Pokčmon's not around here, so..." Watari suddenly stood up. Instantly, the Cranidos caught the man, smirking and quickly charging to your direction. "I'm going to get your Voltorb back. Here, kid," he said confidently, tossing you three small Pokeballs. "Have fun. Star! Stay with the boy!" He had shouted before breaking in a run. The Cranidos changed direction without trouble, chasing the man. Watari jumped on top of a boulder that the Cranidos smashed easily. The man moved agilely even for his age as he fled back in the cave. The Cranidos had stopped his chase, knowing it would be pointless. Instead he turned his attention back to the maze of boulders, knowing there were still people here.

The yellow Oracle Guide sneaked to your side. The Cranidos caught Star's yellow light for a moment, glaring suspiciously at the boulder you were hiding.

"Ah, Mister Stranger gave you those? Well Mister Stranger has four Pokčmon: A Pidgeotto, a Hitmonlee, a Crobat and a Torkoal. They're all strong, I guess--"

Tiny rocks and pebbles fly in the air as your shield shattered to tiny pieces from the Cranidos attacked. Your hiding place was no more and the Cranidos would not hesitate to ram you again. Star quickly fled unlike your own Oracle Guide who stayed by your dangerous side, since it didn't seem to have any option anyway.

Ice Cold Glalie - November 29, 2007 07:24 PM (GMT)
Stephan instantly knew what he had to do. Star had gone for cover, as for his own Oracle Guide, it was still by his side. "Star stay well hidden!" Stephan shouted rather loudly as he enlarged one of the orbs that had been tossed to him, before Watari disappeared into the cave to get his Voltorb.

I'll have to battle this dinosaur! Stephan then began to think. "This is a random thing, POKEBALL GO!" Stephan burst into rage. Let's hope it is a Pokčmon that can be helpful to me. Stephan said as the pokeball landed in front of him. All that Stephan could do now, was wait for the Pokčmon that lurked within to come out.

Stephan then remembered something. "Star, do you know what levels your master's Pokčmon are?" Stephan didn't want to rush into anything. He had the idea that the Cranidos would do some good on his own team.

Stephan was ready for a battle. I hope what ever Pokčmon is in that orb will take commands from me. Stephan thought to himself, as he had the thought that the Pokčmon would listen to him, a vision then popped into his head, a rather strong Hitmonlee kicking about, then finishing him, by pounding him into the ground.

[Wow that OZ Ghost critic thing made me write more then usual! XD]

Tan-Tan - December 1, 2007 10:37 PM (GMT)
[ So he's good for one thing XD ]

"Level?" She repeated with a question mark, pondering. "Mister Stranger's Pokčmon's strength varies. They're all pretty strong, I guess--"

The Pokeball clanked on the ground, alarming the Cranidos who retreated a few steps backward. It knew it was going to face a new opponent, readying to attack as soon as it materialized. The light died soon and a foot tall Pokčmon with reddish clay shell that nurtures a hot fire within. It was hard to see since it was releasing smoke the instant it materialized but you could see the gold neck rising from the smoke. It let out a moaning sound, "Torkoaaaal."

The Cranidos scowled, unable to see with all the white smoke but it can see the Torkoal's head, enough for the Pokčmon to go and charge the Pokčmon. The Torkoal merely retreated on its shell when the Cranidos attacked. The shell flew back and hit a boulder, stopping its flight. The Torkoal came out, still fresh and clean. The Cranidos reared back again and began charging.

Ice Cold Glalie - December 2, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
'Torkoal, emm... what to do? Stephan thought to himself. He saw that the Cranidos was charging at Watari's Pokčmon. "Torkoal, Withdraw!" Stephan shouted in a rather loud voice! "Then follow up with a Yawn" He added onto the end. 'I should play this Defensively for a little bit, just until I figure out what the heck this dinosaur can do.' Stephan glanced to his Oracle Guide. 'Oh, how I wish you could talk like star.' He continued to think. Stephan realised that he was starting to think what her was doing over in his head.

'It might be better if I used Watari's Hitomlee, it would have a definate advantage against Cranidos, but Star said Watari's Pokčmon are strong, we shall soon see.' Stephan grinned, his dark side spilling out a little.

Kari - December 6, 2007 04:57 AM (GMT)
The Cranidos eyed Watari's Torkoal suspiciously, before letting out a huge roar to show its strength and ferocity. Torkoal was still breathing out steam, but otherwise it didn't seem too bothered by Cranidos' aggression. It was actually quite funny to show how Cranidos was consistently trying to show off its power, while Torkoal just totally ignored the desperate dinosaur. Cranidos stomped the ground and smashed the rocks around him with increasing desperation, but no matter what he did, the Torkoal never seemed to ever care. This was it; the humiliation was too much for the dinosaur to take. Time for Torkoal to fall...

Unexpectedly, Cranidos let loose a huge roar and smashed its four limbs into the floor, causing a harmless but intimidating epicenter that shook the battlefield fiercely. Torkoal was still oblivious to the situation, but the huge turtle knew that the true onslaught was about to begin. Cranidos continued its outrage, until it seemed to have achieved its purpose. Nothing seemed to have happened, though. Was it a Swords Dance? Or...

"Look out!" Star's screams weren't unfounded; rocks were rapidly sliding off a nearby slope and heading in Torkoal's direction. This was it; the Cranidos was trying to pull off a Rock Slide. The Torkoal finally stirred and began to move, but judging from its pathetic speed, the huge turtle would never have a chance to outrun the Rock Slide. Was Stephen going to lose this first match? Chances are it would a sayonara to Torkoal...

The turtle wasn't so dim after all. Heeding your words, the Torkoal bent down and withdrew its soft body into its shell, largely reducing the impact of the rocks. It was a huge relief, really; if the turtle was still moving, it might have been caught in the rockslide and buried withi the rocks. The properties of Torkoal's shell, however, allowed rocks to slide off it easily. The sheer hardiness of the shell also saved Torkoal from its otherwise inevitable fate. The Torkoal was shaken, yes, but it was definitely fighting fit, having reduced the impact of that super-effective move by so many times.

Then, the Torkoal Yawned unexpectedly to the surprise of Star and Cranidos. Thinking that it was a good chance for it to destroy Torkoal, the Cranidos circled around the huge turtle, waiting for it to actually go to sleep. Well, Cranidos' stupidity might give you an edge in battle, but it all depends on how you put Cranidos' prospective slumber into good use in the next few turns.

Ice Cold Glalie - December 6, 2007 10:59 AM (GMT)
Stephan panicked a little, he knew that Torkoal was going to struggle a little bit. "Torkoal, now lets see you do an Eruption!" Stephan was now randomly guessing what moves might be good. He knew that Eruption was strong, when the users HP is higher, so Stephan was going to us that, Torkoal hadn't lost much energy.

"Star, how are you holding up?" Stephan then shouted, waiting for Watiri's Oracle Guide to reply. As for Watari, where the hell was he?

Torkoal's a slow one, I am going to have to be really careful how I plan the rest of this battle out. Stephan thought to himself, it was going to be much easier if the Cranidos actually fall asleep, but he was just going to have to wait.

[ Ah since Kari used a 3rd person, might as well used it too x3 ]

Star squeaked, hiding safely behind Stephan before a boulder narrowly went past her. The Oracle Guide whined, "I hate it! This fight is going to kill me! Can't you get to a safer place?" The Oracle Guide peeked over Stephan's shoulder to see the battle so far. "You better listen to my suggestion! Us Oracle Guide sense danger ahead. If I say this fight is going to kill me, it's going to kill me, and you! Waah where's Mister Stranger?"

On Stephan's other shoulder was the Oracle Guide, his very own Oracle Guide. The danger Star speaks of was not evident of the colorless Masquerain's face. Still not a hint of emotion crossed it as if oblivious from the very fight in front of it. Watari hasn't returned yet and even the Oracle Guide was questioning it.

Back in the battle, Watari's golden Torkoal started to release heavy, dark fumes and the intense heat burning within its shell flared up. The Torkoal was breathing in. This oxygen was like gasoline, burning up the coals in the Torkoal's compartment. Breathing out through its nose, smokes fumed in the air. Torkoal was like a Pokčmon torch, creating flames and smokes. The Cranidos was not intimidated though. Instead, it had imitated Torkoal's exhaling through the nose. Although no smokes have fumed or fire had flared up, figuratively speaking the Cranidos was burning up.

The Headbutt Pokčmon jumped and stomped the ground with both feet. The ground quivered. Cranidos continued pounding the ground. Was it an Earthquake attack, or a Magnitude? Still compared to those two, the quaking was not as bad. What was the Pokčmon attempting?

The Cranidos leaped over a rock. The sheer force and power coming from those feet had the boulder shattering. Head or feet, they were both strong. It was a Stomp attack all along and the Pokčmon was improvising the attack, hoping to Torkoal like a Kangaskhan. Torkoal was still heating up for the eruption. Seeing this, Star had hid behind Stephan's back once more. If she had hands, she would plucked it to her ears.

"TOOORKOAL!" Like a volcano, it exploded. Out of the holes from its shell, fire flared in all directions. Torkoal's mouth was smoking, waiting to release something. The Cranidos was dodging the fire coming to him, still determined to get in a close contact and batter the Pokčmon. It was doing very well though. The Cranidos kept on dodging well and good enough to still pursue Torkoal.

"TORKOAL!" The once silent, oblivious Pokčmon had then opened its maw and a frightening stream of flames burst out of it. The Cranidos was shocked, failing to dodge with the size of the flames and the intensity of it. But it didn't give up. The Cranidos defended itself while the pushing flames send it backward. The flames pushed the Cranidos to a boulder that shattered from the force. The flames died slowly then but Stephan can still feel the heat in the air. He can also smell the smoke fuming out of Torkoal's shell.

The Cranidos managed to survive from the overpowering flames. It stood up, burned and bruised from the direct attack. It was still standing though, standing and fighting. It glared at Torkoal, finding inner rage from the last attack.

Roaring, the Cranidos charged to Torkoal. It hit Torkoal with a Headbutt, causing the Torkoal to fly half way in the battlefield. The Cranidos was able to push Torkoal far enough though but with Torkoal's defenses, the hit hasn't been fatal. Torkoal didn't look too tired either but the Pokčmon was still only regaining back its body to its normal temperature, letting the air cool the coals inside it. The Cranidos might need cooling off to, but it didn’t plan on stopping now. It attacked again, using a Slam attack this time, pushing Torkoal further. The last move hurt the Torkoal a bit since Torkoal could not resume to a defensive position after an Eruption move.

“Is it over?” Star squeaked from behind Stephan, peeking to see the battle.

The battlefield looked like a mess then. Many rocks were cluttered messily on the ground after shattering. Boulders were also half-burned from the flames that Torkoal released, most missing a piece or two. The ground was also burned. Marks can be seen, all traced from where Torkoal had once stood. The air smelled bad too, almost as if there was a factory nearby.

Ice Cold Glalie - December 9, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
'Should I attempt it?' Stephan thought to himself, his hands twitching. The move had done some obvious damage to the Cranidos, but it didn't seem to want to give up. Stephan then looked rowards the fire Pokčmon he had been using. The power that it had possessed through the Eruption was unbelievable.

Stephan then clicked in to what Star had said. "It's over, when I say it's over!" He shouted. Stephan still couldn't make his mind up about what he should do. Torkoal was starting to get rather tired, and it couldn't take much more, he didn't want the Torkoal to over work itself, he couldn't have another death on his concious.

"Oh bugger it!" Stephan then randomly shouted. He yanked an orb from his belt, enlarged it and then tossed it towards the Dinosaur Pokčmon. "Pokeball go!" He practically screamed as the orb left his palm. Stephan had made his mind up, he was going to catch this Cranidos!

[I know I may sound a lil annoying, but should I re-post in the Updation Station to get my profile made?]

QUOTE (Item: USED)
:pokeball: -x1

"WAAH!" Star suddenly cried out shrilly. "You're going to capture Cranidos!"

It was an obvious question as the metallic ball glint against the ray of the sun and soon falling fast to the Cranidos. The black, spherical silhouette easily caught the Cranidos' attention. Scowling, the Cranidos violently attacked with a Headbutt, knocking the Pokeball back in the air, cracking from the fierce attack. The yellow Oracle Guide would have gone pale, obviously stating that Stephan have messed up in the wrong time, making the Pokčmon angry most especially in Watari's Torkoal's situation right now.

The Cranidos growled before charging to Torkoal once more for a Headbutt attack. Torkoal tried to go into a defensive position but from its rough state right now, it was rather difficult. The Cranidos was extra aggressive too, smashing the Torkoal straight on. Torkoal roared, getting pushed slowly. Even though the Cranidos was not strong enough to overturn the Torkoal, the slow pushing was wearing the Torkoal who was resisting the wild Pokčmon.

Slowly Stephan can see the Torkoal fighting back, glowing in a scarlet light. It was a Curse move, not the Curse move of Ghost Pokčmon but a strange Curse move for one. As the scarlet glow gets deeper, the Cranidos was having a hard time pushing the Torkoal as if a powerful wave was coming from Torkoal, enabling him to fight back. Torkoal was fighting back already. Realizing that he was losing, the Cranidos retreated before the tired Torkoal could completely send the Cranidos off its feet.

Cranidos shook its head. He could still attack. He charged up again but he was definitely coming straight on. The Cranidos was coming up for a Double-Edge attack. Being a slow Pokčmon, Torkoal failed to dodge again. The Double-Edge sent the Torkoal three feet from where it stood although its four feet was able to stay on the ground firmly. The Cranidos panted. It was still no move that can overturn the Torkoal but it was enough to prove that it can beat the Torkoal if Stephan won't be careful.

“AHH!” Star screamed again. “What kind of Trainer, are you, Mister Boy?” she said to Stephan straightforwardly. Star seemed to be panicking, but she’s been like that ever since Watari left. Where was that man anyway? Leaving Stephan in a pinch like this. Wouldn’t it have been best if it was Stephan who went back instead?

“Wah, I feel bad for your Oracle Guide,” Star said. “Look it’s all sad and frowning!” Of course, that’s something Stephan can’t really tell, nor is it something he should care about now.

Ice Cold Glalie - December 14, 2007 02:54 PM (GMT)
"Oh bugger!" Stephan shouted rather loudly. 'Maybe I should do the right thing and switch Pokčmon.' Stephan thought to himself. He had heard what Star had been saying, he then turned to his Oracle Guide, it didn't seem to care about what was going on. Stephan then made a quick split decision, he got another one of Watari's pokeballs. "Torkoal, you did really well!" He shouted. "Now, why don't you come back and have a rest." He enlarged a pokeball and pointed at the Fire Turtle.

"Here we go, another randomised Pokčmon!" He shouted as he enlarged the pokeball in his hand. "Pokeball number two, lets do this. Go!" He shouted as he threw the ball from his hand and it began spinning away from him.

"Don't worry, I will get this Pokčmon Star!" He then shouted to Watari's Oracle Guide.

Tan-Tan - December 17, 2007 11:09 AM (GMT)
"HITMONLEE!" A sharp voice yelled as a tall, human-like Pokčmon appeared. It had long legs and looked more like a punching bag with eyes. It wasn't clearly a human figure but with the presence of arms and legs, it looked human enough, even enough like those martial artists. The Pokčmon kept on jogging up and down, making sure that both its legs were at constant motion. It was scary already approaching this Pokčmon because those legs looked so elastic and flexible. Even standing three feet from it was threatening.

The Cranidos looked surprised from the sudden appearance of the Pokčmon and looked a bit frightened. The Pokčmon looked powerful. The Torkoal appeared to be a big rock for the Cranidos especially with the Torkoal's speed so it wasn't intimidated at all in spite of the different in strength. Now that he was facing a Hitmonlee, the Cranidos felt scared and it knew its limits. It was starting to get exhausted and getting beaten up was not a good image for a Pokčmon who wants an angry revenge. In fact, it might decide to flee soon. It was angered a lot though after the attempt of capture so the Cranidos was still in doubt whether fleeing or not was good despite the logical reasons.

There was now an obvious advantage of Stephan's side, especially since he had a Pokčmon more to spare. However, Star said something differently, "Gah, him!"

Ice Cold Glalie - December 17, 2007 12:46 PM (GMT)
Stephan grinned, he knew that Hitmonchan had the type advantage over Cranidos, and Stephan wanted to capture the Dinosaur, but he knew there was a huge risk of fleeing.

"Hitmonlee, Bullet Punch, then straight into Vacuum Wave!" Stephan ordered, the moves he had ordered were both super fast. So he knew there was a chance that Hitmonlee could beat this crazy-ass dinosaur. 'I really want to capture this Dinosaur, so I am going to have play this carefully. There's a huge chance that it will flee.' Stephan thought to himself.

Hitmonlee seemed to be flexing itself over and over, preparing to get ready to attack. "Don't worry Star, Hitmonlee will easily beat this dinosaur!" Stephan grinned, something was going right for once!

Hitmonlee then began to run, it was heading directly for the Dinosaur Pokčmon.

Tan-Tan - December 23, 2007 07:36 AM (GMT)
[ Don't control Hitmonlee. It's not your Pokčmon. ]

Star didn't reply but Stephan didn't have to hear the guide at all, seeing the winning Pokčmon already. The Hitmonlee stood there for a moment before disappearing in a blink of an eye, a overly confident smile crossing its face. Kicking its fast, long legs, it headed for Cranidos with alarming speed. Cranidos backed away, not clearly seeing where the kicking Pokčmon might be due to its extreme. The Hitmonlee aimed and fired the Bullet Punch, a quick, slightly powerful punch.

The Cranidos hit a rock like a wall and something hit the rock behind him. Hitmonlee was in front of Cranidos, an arm stretched with a fist curled. Looking up, the Cranidos saw the ball fist inches away from its hard head. The Hitmonlee missed the attack and it didn't look too well from the recoil of hitting a rock instead. It would probably have screamed in pain but the Cranidos took this chance to retaliate with a Headbutt attack, knocking the Hitmonlee backward. The Cranidos jumped up the rock Hitmonlee hit. The Hitmonlee started sitting up, seeing a shadow above him. Groaning as its view started to clear up, Hitmonlee realized what the Cranidos was going to do. With a smirk, the Cranidos jump from the rock and did a Slam attack like those in pro wrestling matches.

Hitmonlee retreated instantly, its fast legs fitting for running as well. The Cranidos smirked cockily, realizing that the Hitmonlee was a wimp.

"What were you doing?" Stephan heard Star shouted. "Hitmonlee is a KICKING Pokčmon, not a Punching Pokčmon! Don't order punch attacks! Stupid, stupid, stupid Mister Boy!"
