So, who else is looking forward to the newest installment of Super Smash Brothers, Super Smash Brothers Brawl? I know I'm excited. It comes out February 10th, 5 days before before my birthday. I'm getting it, along with a car. xD

So, who else wants the game so much they can't stand it?

I'm going crazy waiting for it. The music, the stages, the characters, the features, awesome.... I have a real liking to the music and stages the most. And the customization you can do! You can make your own stages, omg!
I hope they add Lucario or Blaziken for the player Pokèmon.

Anyway, I was excited about SSBB for a while... but then my best friend's little brother became completely obsessed with it. Every time I went over to her house over the last couple of months, all I heard was SONIC'S IN BRAWL!!!!!!!! and NEW ICE CLIMBER'S STAGE FTW!!!!!!!!!! and WHO WOULD YOU RATHER SEE IN BRAWL, _____ or _____?!?!?!?! At this point I would be ecstatic if I never heard the word "brawl" again. I don't even have a Wii for cripe's sake.

Zeo@ I know! It's all sooooooooooo awesome and so much better than the second one! The stages are amazing, and the way you can make your own?!? It's so awesome! And SONIC?!? When I heard they put him on there I nearly passed out. Ive been waiting FOREVER for Sonic to be put in a SSB game! This is sooo amazing! Sonic is like, my fave game. Well, the classics are anyhow. The new ones just suck in my opinion.

I understand with the best friends little brother. But I'm still excited about it. I loved SSBM and I've been waiting for the new one. And I have a Wii, so I can get it. YAY!

I really like all the collecting and wi-fi features they have planned. The stickers are cool, the trophies are very pretty, and I just love the whole wi-fi capabilities thing.

I'm hoping they'll have a new Pokèmon stage, as well as more pokeball Pokèmon and assist trophies. I'm thinking that a stage based on a Battle Revolution arena or Collesseum/XD would be cool. My friend and I want Valley Windworks, but that won't happen.

maybe i'm not THAT enthusiastic about Brawl, but I knew that I spent at least an hour running around the house after Sonic was announced...and I started incorporating 'Falcon Punch' into my speech...and...and...and...

I think I'm the only one out of my friends (and heck, the people I know IRL) that's ecstatic about Brawl. :<

I don't care much for the Pokèmon in Brawl because I already know that my favorites are nowhere near getting into Brawl. :p I'm more hoping that they'll throw more characters from Fire Emblem in, or maybe even Golden Sun or Advance Wars if I'm lucky. o-o

I agree with the Pokèmon thing. I don't think they'll add many in there. Pikachu stays because Pikachu is like, the main cheese of Pokèmon. Personally, I think they should add more Sonic characters. >:D

I don't own a Wii, but my cousin does. He said he'll invite me over to play when and IF he gets brawl ((so he can kick my butt, mostly :/ )) Which is exciting. As long as they remember to put Luigi again, I'll be happy. I would like to also see Phoenix Wright make a appearnce, even if he'll probably be an Assist trophy since Capcom is more famous for their character Megaman, not 'Nick'. And SANDSHREW! As a pok'eball-obtainable pok'e. I really would love to see that. ^^

Anyway, I'm sorry guys. I didn't mean to be a killjoy with my last post. I may be grumbling a bit now, but rest assured that when Brawl actually comes out, I will be trekking over to my buddy's house every day to have 6-hour Brawl-fests with the aforementioned little brother. XD

I would wet myself if (alert: the following is wishful thinking and will never actually happen) Amaterasu from Okami was in there, but Wolf Link would be a fine canine replacement.

Well, Kirbop, I still think, if Capcom DID decide to make a character of theirs play-able, it'd be Megaman, no contest. Why? Well...he's been in a heck of a lot more games then Phoenix has, that's for sure. He's like a 'mascot' to them... Therefore, he would have a bigger fanbase and people whom enjoy Capcom would expect their 'mascot' to be playable. Phoenix has only been the main hero for 3 games, and in the fourth one he's in, he just gives adivce... therefore, Phoenix would probably be only an Assist Trophy.

But hey, I'm not picky. It'd be cool to throw the asist trophy and have 'Nick' appear with his sgnature 'Objection!'

Luigi@ I am one of the best players of SSBM that I know. The only person that has been able to beat me (for the most part, when I'm not having a bad day) is my younger sister. :/ And I swear, that girl has SKILLS! She scares me sometimes. O.o

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

They can only put in characters that have been on Nintendo systems, so there's a 0% chance of them putting Amaterasu in the game. There would have to be another character. Oh!! Perhaps Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil? I dunno, perhaps!

Midna would blow my freaking mind. Her final smash could be that crazy berserker giant-form she transformed into at the end of the game when she used the fused shadows to break the barrier on Hyrule Castle. Can you say DOMINATION?

Uh... well, it would still be a small chance. Unless it comes out earlier than Brawl. I think Nintendo won't have characters from games that have only been on the systems in one game as main characters.

I'm seriously hoping that the Trainer can be changed to different genders, and perhaps different regions. It's kind of sexist only having the male fr/lg trainer, and leaving the female trainer out. That could work as the Trainer's color change option (X and Y in SSBM). There's just as many girls that play Pokèmon as boys.

Another thing, I seriously wish that there would be a lot of third-party assist trophies in the game. You already know that they'll probably have Sonic and MGS trophies (one was revealed today), but what about games that have no chance of getting playable characters? Hm...

Luigi: True, but I think Phoenix Wright has been more popular recently. I wouldn't be surprised if he made it in as an Assist Trophy, though; the game's insanely popular, or at least, it is at my school and on the Internet as well. o.o There were tons of fads and memes made about it...

Haha -- Nice to see I wasn’t the only one squealing with joy when I heard all the goodness Brawl will have in store for us. Though I was a little annoyed when I saw they pushed back the release date from December to February, yet that’s when they also revealed Sonic characters would make their appearance in the game as well. So all got better quickly, I assure you. Yet despite all these new characters I’m sure once I get the game my first pick will be Link… It always is no matter what unless they totally screwed over his play style for the worse. I hope they added in Young Link as well, I’m unsure. Same for Dr. Mario. (Well they are the only ones I care about anyways.)

I’m also happy to see they put Snake in it as well, just because he’s so awesome like that. I’m a fan of the Metal Gear series, and can’t wait for the fourth one. Just hope it’s just not exclusive for the PS3, or that I have one by that time or some time after. Might need it for when they finish the remake of Final Fantasy VII and totally release the new one in the series. Or if there’s ever another Kingdom Hearts game that won’t be for the DS… ::Grumbles::

Glad to see Pit in the game as well, even if he was from one of the hardest games that I ever played to the point of insanity, but… ::Grumbles again::

That would be sweet to eventually see Okami in the game, even if I highly doubt it is possible or we’ll just have to wait for another four or so years and see. But you never know. I know Nintendo was able to get their hands on the game thanks to some contracts with Clover which is now closed thanks to Sony (so more or less those are contracts with Sony). But incase you didn’t know, Okami will be coming to the Wii. No, not a different game, but the same as they try to increase its popularity, which really got me fuming. It’s just an awesome game, yet so few have played it. Then again the same goes for The Dark Assassin and Beyond Good and Evil.

Gha -- Sorry, trailed off topic. But yes, I can’t wait for Brawl! Haven’t been this excited about a fighting game when my uncle ordered me a copy of Jump Super Stars.

Maybe they should have Wii Updates that update the character roster. That might work.... Right now my stupid Wii is updating, all I see every five seconds at the botton of my screen is a pop up that says, "A User is connected to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector." Noooo, computer, ya think? I've been seeing that the past half hour. <_<

To Kirbop: The Fire Emblem I played was one of the real early releases for the GBA, forgot the name...but it was really fun. But anyways...I'm thinking that Ridely or Mother Brain from Metroid are going to probably make it in as boss characters, as they seem challening. I also think that Rayquaza SHOULD be a boss...that would be cool...have the Emearld music that plays when you challenge him playing on that stage too...

If it was in English, it's probably Fire Emblem 7... which is still complete love~<3 I was never able to get into the later editions...

Speaking about Rayquaza, WTF at him popping out of a lake. O_o I mean, he's a legendary...of the sky. Why would he be materializing out of a lake? <_< If anything, it should be a Gyarados, or Kyogre if they wanted to keep with the 'sea legendary' theme. :/

Zeo@ They won't. This is the first game Sonic's been on, and that's probably only because of the screaming fans demanding for Sonic, and now. That and the fact him and Mario are going to be in that 'Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Game', which isn't on my top list of games to get.

The trainer thing, I agree. I've been playing Pokèmon since I was really young, and though I've lost touch in the gaming area, I still think it is sexist. I will probably play the trainer many times. xD Really, though, this is the only Pokèmon thing I'm apart of.

Especially considering 99% of the girl trainer sprites are way cooler/cuter than their male counterparts. Personally, I wouldn't mind playing as the guy trainer provided you could cycle through the starters from other regions. I would kill to be able to play as Totodile and Cyndaquil/evolutions in Brawl. *cuddles Johto starters*

I've always stuck with Pikachu since the original Super Smash Brothers, but I feel the need to rock Pokèmon Trainer and Diddy Kong. Whyyy did they have to put Ice Climbers back in?! I hate their guts. *whine whine*

Just curious, does anybody actually care that Wario is in Brawl? To quote the site, "Many fans clamored for Wario to join the fray, and so now he finally makes his appearance..." but it doesn't seem like anyone is gung-ho about using him. I'm certainly not. XD
