I come as close as knowing the alkaline extraction as well as the popular potato starch extraction, but I am unsure exactly how. This is only a step for an investigatory project in which we are supposed to make adhesive out of the starch of potato, cassava and corn/banana. The very problem is extracting the starch.

Afterwards, make the actual adhesive. I'll problem it later but I need help about extraction.
