I was wondering if anyone saw this new rookie that All-Japan signed. He's a huge fellow at 6'3, 270. NOAH and Pride were also interested. Man, I wished NOAH would have signed him, he could have been the monster that started with Go, but turns into his rival. Underdog Go vs this big guy would have been a great feud five years down the road.

Yeah it sucks, but Go will still have the Morishima, Rikio & Yones to get past and who knows maybe AJ won't be around 5 years from now and he'll still be Go's rival as well as Suwama.

I do wonder why the big guy went with AJPW.
If it's because of money, then AJPW would be the worst place financially to sign with.
Or maybe it was because Suwama was there since the two have a history together back in their amaresu days?

Suwama probably got him to sign i dont see any other reason

Sorry, to bring up such an old thread, but now that AJPW seems to be going thru some troubles losing Miyamoto, Akebono, and Jamal, if they close down NOAH might get this guy in the end afterall.
