Title: Misawa to retire?

Read this a few minutes ago thought everyone should know:
Misawa told the press that when he underwent a physical examination 2 weeks ago, the doctor told him that he had cerebral hemorrhages in both of his eyes, which could cause his vision to blur badly and could force him to retire. Misawa said that he would get reexamined after the 9/18 Nippon Budokan Hall show where he would challenge Takeshi Rikio for his GHC Heavyweight Title and would decide on what to do with his career after that.
I wonder if his match vs Rikio is a smart thing to do....I guess Rikio will retain :unsure:

I see this going 2 ways. Rikio wins and the NOAH Super Generation army step up and Misawa takes off for a couple of months to see how they'll fare. Or Missy wins to kill Rikio's push dead.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Misawa take the title, retire with the belt, and NOAH setting up a tournament to crown a new GHC Champion. It's the best of both worlds. It allows Misawa to bow out on top, and it gives NOAH complete freedom with who they make the next champion...
It also gives a reason for Kawada to come back for a few shows, and that = GOOOOOOD

That would be a great way to do it. I can see Misawa retire as champ.
And have a way to bring back Sasaki, Kawada and others for the tournament.

Wow, that would be a win-win situation. I'd LOVE to see a big NOAH heavyweight tournament, that would be so fucking awesome!

Misawa doesn't have to see to go over. My guess is he'll die before he jobs again. Oh well, at least he's still a good worker...

He probably should just retire and maybe work only if its a big Dome show or something.

Misawa could stick around for another year and retire at next year's Dome show, which will sell out again if they make it his retirement show.

I say if Misawa wins...TOURNAMENT!!! let OGAWA get the title again... :lol: ok no but this would be a great way to see KOBASHI/KAWADA. Also bring in Suwama or something. It would be different and it would boost AJ up a bit but then again Misawa dont do favors unless he gets the best out of it.
If Rikio wins then let him battle Morishma in a steal cage.
