Title: Next RoH Champion?

Well they certainly dodged the bullet, moving the RoH Title from WWE contracted worker CM Punk to...WWE contracted worker James Gibson. I really don't understand this switch as Daniels was set to win it and end his feud with Punk and it was kinda just left unsettled. Besides, they now need another title change soon. That being said, who do you guys see as the next RoH Champ? I actually think Jimmy Rave would be a good fit...

It's an odd move, but I like it as I doubt many people would have looked at him as a logical champion.
My money is on Cabana.

I'd actually love to see Alex Shelley with the title. I think he's proved himself as a top worker.

I don't see Homicide winning it, as his thing has been never winning an ROH title. I think if Cabana was going to take it he would have at the last show. I like the idea of Alex Shelly being the champ, perhaps after all this Embassy vs Gen Next stuff is resolved.
I really like Jimmy Rave, but I just can't buy him as the main event guy with the top title.

Homicide, Cabana, and Shelley would all be great RoH Champs but their best chance has already come and gone imo. I think Rave is the best choice because he's HUGELY over as a heel and holds many wins over top level talent like CM Punk and AJ Styles but looks vulnerable enough that any challenger would look like a lock to win it. THAT is money right there...

I just read this on ROH's website
August 30th: "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson told ROH officials that he wants a World Title shot on 9/17 in Long Island. This will mark Danielson's return to ROH. ROH officials have granted Danielson's request since he was one of the men that built this promotion. It will be James Gibson defending the ROH World Title against Bryan Danielson at "Glory By Honor IV" at Sports Plus Entertainment in Lake Grove, NY. Danielson walked out of ROH last May when he failed to win the World Title from Austin Aries. Danielson says that now is his time to be champion. We will have more details on this match soon right here at ROHwrestling.com.
Sounds like the Dragon is gonna finally get the belt he deserves...
