Sister Act; The Musical (based upon the film of the same name) opens in London in 5 weeks with a fully new score written by Alan Menkin it looks as if it's going to be pretty amazing!

Just to let everyone know, if you use iTunes, search for Sister Act The Musical and you can download "Raise Your Voice" and "Take Me To Heaven", two big chorus numbers which are phenominal, for free! (They're in the format of podcasts.) There's audio only versions and two video versions with the new London Cast performing them in a studio in full costume and with choreography but no set. Worth a look-in!

I quite like the new songs. I was a bit nervous, as I love the original film so much, but I understand why they've taken the direction they have done. I certainly can't afford to go at the moment (:angry:) so I look forward to hearing the reviews of it . I know reviews aren't everything, but if I can garner a variety of opinions, at least I can decide if I want to fork out the cash at some point!
