I personally think that Marry Poppins would win, though mama rose would kick some serious butt. Though she has no special powers I'm sure Patti Lu pone or Ethel Merman could take those two ninnys out faster than you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"
Great episode and Happy 100!
It was great to hear the cat again and to see him on the video! (was that the same cat?) And what is the name of the Noahs arc musical that Jennifer kept referring to?
thanks for the pod cast!

Hi! Congratulations, it was a great episode! I don't mean to be a party pooper, but I thought I'd point out some mistakes in the episode:
- Bernadette Peter's Gypsy was in 2003 (there were plans for her and Mendes to do at the Donmar, but Arthur Laurents didn't like the intimate setting.)
-There has never been a Broadway revival of Funny Girl. there have been several American productions with such notable names as Kristin Chenoweth, Stephanie J Block, Leslie Kritzer and Julia Murney.
- Sammantha Spiro played Fanny earlier this year at Chichester.
Thanks,
sondheimfan.
edit: Though, Jennifer may have been confused with a benefit BC/EFA put on around 2003, which had lots of Divas singing songs (it was also the place where Shoshana Bean was first noticed!)

The Noah's Arc musical I was referring to is called Two by Two - I finally remembered the title!
"Though, Jennifer may have been confused with a benefit BC/EFA put on around 2003, which had lots of Divas singing songs (it was also the place where Shoshana Bean was first noticed!)"
Yes, I think that was what I was thinking of.

Great episode, I enjoyed it very much. I've actually been listening since the very first episode and can't believe it's taken me this long to sign up to the board... keep up the good work!
