you know, for all the crap I give ALW, that sounds like that would be pretty cool. I'm not going, obviously, i can barely afford gas, let alone a plane ticket to England :) Please do keep us updated, though, I'd like to see what they're going to do for it, and I at least would like a review.

Yeah i was a really big fan of ALW a few years back, Joseph was the first show i saw and was in, and when i was 16 I thought Phantom was the only musical worth seeing haha, but since i started training ive kind of gone off him. I do still think his work is amazing, and JCS is one of the best shows around, but I did think his music was soudning a bit dated compared to JRB or Stephen Schwartz's Wicked.

Saying that, since i won the tickets ive started listenin 2 my old ALW soundtracks again and Im finding that I really like them again. I'm hoping the concert will get me back into his work again. Maybe i just needed a break from listening to The Phantom Of The Opera OLC Recording constantly everyday :P

I've got an update on confirmed acts for the concert, so far;

Elaine Paige (No prizes for guessing what she'll be singing!)

Idina Menzel

Lee Mead

Connie Fisher

The finalists from "I'd Do Anything."

The new Phantom cast

and John Barrowman is presenting.

The music is going to be played by the BBC 70 peice orchastra as well. So far thats all I know, I'll post again if i find anything else worth saying :D

I'll do a review the day after and post it on the forums I think, if I'm not too overwhelmed by the whole thing and forget it all! haha

Woops! Sorry, i totally forgot about this thread I started! If anyone is still interested, I'll add a thing about it on here when I get back down to London. The program is down there so I'll be able to go through that to refresh my memory seeing as it was so long ago!

Sorry again!
