Synopsis

Last Friends tackles issues that afflict the current generation. Michiru's mother has brought a man back to their home and she is bullied at her workplace where she works as a beauty parlour assistant. She starts cohabiting with her boyfriend, a good young man who works at the Child Welfare Division and the only person who can give her emotional support, but ends up the victim of domestic violence and becomes fearful of love. The boyishly charming Ruka was a classmate of Michiru's in junior high school. She has performed brilliantly as a motocross racer and aims to win the national championship, but as the story progresses, a deep worry that she can neither confide in her parents or close friends grows evident. Takeru is a hair and makeup artist acquainted with Ruka. He is a good confidant to females due to his kindness and perceptiveness, and finds himself attracted to Ruka but has a phobia of sex as a result of a past trauma. The three of them become house mates and through their associations with others, gain the capacity to be positive about life.

yea...last friends...anyone seen it? i finished it a while ago, but the scenes still play back in my head...it's really...wow...unique? touching, honest, realistic, angsty...yea it's great...heh...oh yea! the main stars...

i abosolutely love the cast for this drama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive only watched the first 4 eps (yes kita im trying not to watch it all in one run) of it but so far ite pretty good. the scary thing is that in my head im thinking Sousuke's beating are a lil over the top and kinda fake, but when u think about it, stuff like this happens all the time. ive come to love Ueno Juri cause ive watched Nondame Cantibile and Nagasawa Masami reminds me of Horikita Maki (which i love), man the cast is great!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking about to watch this after Kita get over with Rolling Love. This is probably on a par on those must watch Japanese dramas?

i finished da drama the other day and i have to say i loved it. its probably in my top 3 now along wit Kurosagi and Proposal Daisakusen. i think all of the characters are loveable, even Sousuke. and i would have to agree wit nonobon about it being unique, touching and so on. i say watch it i f wanna enjoy a good drama.

plus i loved the fact that they used Hikki's Prisoner of Love song. and for some strange reason i really loved the opening when they showed the whole thing.

whoa...a special? i didn't know they had one...gotta watch it now...^^

if anyone wants to download the special or the series tell me. but the special is basically a recap of the whole series. so d-addicts eddited the special and they cut out the recaps. there is only about 9 minutes of new material and there is no new storyline, there is only about 3 new scenes (really i say dont watch it, though u get to see Rumi-chan =) =) =) )
