ArabianFancy - August 28, 2006 02:27 PM (GMT)
Hi,
I am new here and need to move some nice horses. The two Quarter horses were bred and owned by Dr. Mayberry in Brandon. We bought them about 6 months ago and just have not had time to ride them.
They will come out in the Market Bulletin the 1st of Sept. so if you are interested , act fast! :drive:
1999 Sorrel AQHA Gelding, 14.3 hands.
Sired by money earing stallion Little Peppy Concion ( Peppy San Badger x Mr San Peppy daughter )
Dam by Dun Bar Fever out of a Snipper Cole daughter.
This is an excellent cow prospect. Has and excellent handle on him just need tuning up on cows. He lost the sight in his left eye as a weanling but has no effects from it. You would never know it by watching him move. $2000
2001 Sorrel AQHA Gelding 14.3
Sire is money earning son of Freckles Playboy out of Doc Bar Daughter
Dam is by Smokin Jose out of a Doc's Solano mare.
This gelding has a tremendous handle on him . He needs a bit of tuning up on cows but would do do anything you wanted him to do.
$2500
pictured here

2002 Sorrel Gelding. Reg. Paint Breeding stock.
Green broke , just needs finishing. Measures a true 15.2 hands. Gentle easy to handle. Will make someone an excellent horse. $1000

Hi :)
Actually, he's my sisters.
I don't know if he's ever had any other name besides Rusty.
He wasn't registered, but can be, i'm told.
Do you want another? :D
He's a really good horse, but too much for her, and I only ride gaited.
Bay Springs. Have you ridden in the national forrest there?
I think horses are allowed, we used to ride 4wheelers in there.
I'd forgotten about that place.

NO NO more horses please!!
You are thinking of Bay St. Louis I think. We are right down 18 from Brandon, on Hwy 15, North of Laurel.
No Nat. Forest here!
I'll post some pics later. I have an order going out by FEDEX today !! Not anywhere near finished with it.

Hey!
Glad to see you made it over here! Nice horses you have there...good luck finding the perfect homes for them. :)
Take care,
The Other Gina (AKA LikeMyApples on A Black Horse)
P.S. We are so gonna confuse folks...both Gina's...both with Arabian associations! LOL

Nope. it's Bay Springs.
You turn left at the 4way stop on 18. Go a mile or two and there's a sign saying Bienville National Forrest (or some kinda forrest).
I think it the next left, then left again and you come back a ways and on the right is the entrance (one, anyway).
There's a sign there saying something about 4wheelers allowed, and I think, it mentions horses.
It's a gravel road, and off it is trails through the woods. Most circle back to the road.
Been a couple years since I've been out there.

OH Slaps self on forehead! You mean the Bienville trails here at Loun,/ Pineville! Duh. Sorry brain lapse!!

Gina D (yep Gina S ya'll are gonna confuse us) I am from Smith County, originally. Taylorsville. And I've ridden with the bunch that rides out of Bay Springs for the Dixie National Wagon Train. Haven't lived there in many many years, but it's still "home". I am looking to get back rural very soon now. I'm in Brandon right now. I imagine we may know some of the same folks. :)
And your horses are very nice. I'm with Gina S in wishing you good luck in finding the right buyer.

I don't normally like sorrel colors, but this is an amazing pic. I may have to take a ride down your way to pay a visit and see your horses. I'm about to get a couple more.

Please do come look at them! ( I have three for sale)
Email me ginad (at) bayspringstel.net
and I will give you my phone number.
He is a really nice gelding but he is only 14.3 . Don't expect him to be tall ! He looks like his pedigree, short and stocky.
I would love to meet you anyway!

Gina, The above horse, now I have taken a really good look at him looks like my horse Blade. Blade is 16 hands and a deeper sorrel. I had another friend e-mail me telling me the same thing. It really is amazing how much they look alike. You have a very nice horse. :)

Joey, my sister was into Straight Egyption horses, she had a beautiful bay stallion. What lines does Rusty have in him, maybe Polish? Hope I spelled that right. Arabians are magnificent horses.

Please if anyone is interested, please come look at him and we will make a deal. We had another bad chicken check so these guys have GOT to find homes! He is super horse, just needs someone to ride him. I have the 2 Quarter horses and a BS paint that is just saddle broke. They MUST find homes soon, we just can't afford to keep them. Nothing wrong with them at all Jamie just can't ride them with his back right now and I am working every free minute trying to bring in some extra $$. We just don't have time to work them.
Please don't hesitate to at least come look at them.
