Hi- I am looking for three Tennesee Walking Horses that were sold in the mid- 1990s in Southwest Mississippi or Southeast Louisiana. The horses' registered names are I'M Ebony II chestnut a stallion or gelding born in 1989, Avalon's Mello D Delight chestnut mare with blaze born in 1985 and Roberta Delight, chestnut mare no markings born in 1987.
They were bred by my late husband and I and sold at auction in 1989 when he died. They were both bought by the late Bill Campbell of Baton Rouge and Magnolia, MS. I have been in touch with his widow, but she can't remember who bought them from them in the mid-1990s.
I just wnat to know what happened to them, and if they are still alive. If any are available for sale, I would be interested in buying them. The papers on these horses were never transferred, so the current owners are not on record with the TWHBEA. These horses still show up under the Campbells, but Mrs. Campbell is sure that they were sold around 1994 or 1995.
If you own these horses, know where these horses are, or know what happened to them, please email me. These were the last of our babies, and I would love to find them or know what happened to them after they left the Campbells.
Thank you,
Marcia :)
I haven't seen any chestnuts on the rides I have been on. Sorry. Any pictures anywhere?
:unsure :unsure The only photo I have is of Avalon's Mello D Delite when she was about 15 minutes old. I do not have a photo of I'm Ebony II because he was born to his dam after she was sold. Again both of these horses would be pretty OLD by now [COLOR=red][COLOR=red] I'm hoping to find them because someone will see the post and remember their names, or someone will see the post and remember they bought a chestnut mare or a chestnut gelding in the mid-1990s from Bill Campbell or his wife Melda.
