I love Shiloh I can't believe you are selling him.

If I can't get a measley 250 for him, I'll keep him and send him to you next month (assuming you're still interested).

Oh course I am still interested, I hope you don't sell him, I think he would make you a really good horse.

He's very pretty. And if he has Ledo's disposition, he'll make someone a very lucky person. Heck, if I had room, I'd buy him at that price. If he doesn't sell, it's good to know he'll have a future home.

Hi- I've very new to this forum and internet in general except for yahoo email. But I just had to ask-- are you serious that you are selling this paso fino for just $250? Or is this a joke between you all on this forum?

I joined this forum in hope of tracking down our old walkers that I was forced to sell at auction when my husband died in 1989. The youngest would be 18, if still alive.

I am a short middle aged woman who would love to find a gaited horse that is not too big. I live in Clinton LA but joined this forum because I think that if any of our TWHs are still alive, they would be in SW MS.

Please tell me about this Paso Fino. Is he halter trained and gentle? I read your post that he is not trained for riding yet. Is his name Joey or is that your name- Marcia

Hi Marcia. Welcome to the forum. :)

His name is Shiloh (mine is Joey).
He'll be three in August.
Up until a few months ago, he was a pet that would follow you anywhere, etc.
He's been left alone for a while and it shows in his manners.
He's disrespectful. But I have to say he is a very good horse, he just needs some attention.
I saddled him last year and it didn't bother him any.
His sire was the most laidback Paso I've ever come across.
Actually, he was the only one I ever rode that you had to kick.
Most want to go go go (although they're controllable).
Shiloh has alot of brio but I think he'll be very easily controlled (depending on how he's trained and the trainer).
The price is rock-bottom. He's due next month for his yearly shots and his Coggins (he doesn't have a Coggins now).
Price is as-is. Once I haul him to the vet for shots, etc, then I can't let him go for that price. Honestly, I was asking a heckuvalot more, but folks in MS don't know Pasos that well and most seem to think if a horse isn't at least 16h's, it isn't a horse. Go figure.
If you'd like to look up his pedigree, his sire is SRS Toledo del Cabildo and his dam is Clarissa del Cabildo.
I live outside Brandon (just east of Jackson).
You can email me if you're still interested and we can set up a time for you to look him over. :)

I have emailed you because I would like to see him. I am not into pedigrees-- especially Paso Fino pedigrees-- I don't know anything about their bloodlines. I am interested in finding a short, gaited horse I don't like a tall horse. When I had walkers, I always perfered the ones that were under 15 hands. My friend's paso fino was not quite 14 hands and he seemed perfect for me. Marcia
