I am sad to say we have decided that for Betsy's sake we are going to sell her. We don't have the time to mess with her anymore and she deserves someone who will love on her and be with her.
We are selling this mare for $2000.00 (which includes her, all her feed, halters, bit, 1 aussie draft saddle with horn, brushes, everything you can think of for her, she's coming with this price or BEST OFFER AND APPROVED HOME!!) She is 16hh and is 1900-2200lbs (don't have a tape big enough)
She is UTD on ferrier, coggins (neg), on all shots and immunizations and ready to breed for next season. She has had one colt (previous owner) and she is 8-9 years old (don't know her foal-day)
She is broke to ride and green broke to pull a cart she is a great baby sitter and is the smoothest riding for her size. Please if you know anyone who can benefit from our wonderful girl please let me know... call Leigh at 601-813-9000

Where are you located? I would love to take a look at her! We're looking for some horses and while I wasn't considering a draft horse, I can always be swayed by personality!

Well, I will tell you this horse personality and the good and funny kind of way... I have owned several horses and she has been the absolute funniest...I swear she acts like she can talk sometimes...and what's even weirder is I can actually read her like a human (expression wise), she has the most unique expressions I have ever seen...
We are in the Byram, Ms area... lol
She is such a good girl and we love her so much but my husband and I don't have time for her anymore even though she doesn't seem to mind being a yard ornament...she needs to have someone mess with her on a several times a week basis/everyday...anything you would like to know just ask or heck even call me...

As of yesterday betsy has been SOLD to a equine trainer/enthusiast in Manvel, TX. She is going to have a wonderful new owner and thanks to everyone helping me with this one...

Congratulations!!!! I'm glad Betsy is going to a good home!! I know you'll miss her, but I'm hoping it's comforting to know she'll be well taken care of and have a job!!

Great for you! I will miss seeing your cute pictures of her though. Will you be able to get updates on her? I know when we sell our dogs we raise (Akitas), we gain FAMILY! We keep in contact with everyone and swap pictures. So far only 1 person out of maybe the 10 dogs we sold doesn't keep in contact. A great feeling to be confident you made the right choice!
