This trailer has a ton of real hauling miles on it and still a nice stout trailer light enough to pull with a half ton truck. I hauled this trailer on 4-7 hour trips one of my trips was from Leesville LA to Ft Leonordwood MO (through the ozark mountains) with a 1/2 ton Chevy truck..

The floors need repaired. It has been sitting for two years with no maintenance and would recommend the axles be regreased with a synthetic grease. I kept this trailer in excellent hauling condition axles/barrings greased regularly tires were actually rotated on this trailer. Cleaned out trailer after every haul and pulled mats out. The wood floors in the trailer are the original floors that were in it when I purchased it.. For Louisiana/MS standards I say that is pretty good.

I have no need for a 2 H slant since my own Menagerie has grown to 4 horses in MS! The estimates to repair at the featherlite dealership was about 700.00 I honestly think you have someone who knows what they are doing it can be done for less.

I am willing to bargain and asking 2000.00 the trailer has a clean title in my name. No bank to wait on.
the trailers paint has been washed off since the first week of ownership but hasnt defaced the value.

Sorry no pics available. Trailer is in Senatobia MS where my two horses are .

Please PM me for more information or call me at 808 352 4996.

Does anyone out there know of anyone who would be willing to pick up trailer and do the repairs needed on the trailer for a reasonable fee?
Since I have had no offers to purchase I have decided to fix it and see what happens next.

needs to be repaired within next couple of months for when I fly in to move my horses to a different property.

trailer is in Coldwater MS. Very Important to have fixed.. no emails will be refused!

Just to let you know we do look, I considered repairing it for you.
But.
You don't know me, I don't know you. You may not like my work.
Re-flooring isn't that hard, depending on the trailer.
Plus the fact that if I did it, I'd charge probably close to what the dealer would.
$700 to have it done professionally really isn't that bad, considering the price of wood and having it done like original (assuming they do it like that).

Just my thoughts. :)

Aloha Joey dont think I said no one looks, no one has made an offer.. Heck and I can see why.. getting this trailer fixed has become a headache for me in Hawaii.. No I dont know you you dont know me and neither does the dealership. thing is I have a clear title on the trailer and WILLING to send in as collateral if for some life threatening reason I decide to not pay.. Heck a trailer in your hands for the cost of repair.
I do business from afar regularly.. I have horses all over the state of MS and LA and now own one in CA in training with ballewranch.com..

The dealership gave me an estimate of about 700 to start work... I imagine with them will cost more.

I had a confirmation call this am to have my little trailer fixed by the dealership and is being hauled in on Monday.

I made this post to offer someone who may need some money in their wallets or if someone knew of a person who had fallen on hard times who needed some work. I am an honest person and would not cheat someone out of good quality work.

Letitia :thanks:

I didn't mean to imply anything.
Just looking at all the angles.
Most of my family are painters, so I hear alot of stories.
I do honestly think that the dealer is the best option.
I just hope it's a reputable dealer and not some jerk who will take your money.

let us know how it turns out?
