Title: Wanted: Gravely walkbehind

Joey - June 8, 2007 03:16 AM (GMT)
Preferably older model, electric start, with attachments. Reasonable.

WldHrt02 - June 8, 2007 03:37 AM (GMT)
What is a gravely walkbehind?

msequine - June 8, 2007 12:00 PM (GMT)
I think it's a tiller/plow.

Joey - June 8, 2007 12:56 PM (GMT)
The older Gravely's were wonderful machines. :)

Basically, an engine and two (some had duals) wheels that you could attach different attachments too.
bushog/mower, tiller, plow, sickle bar, snowblower, etc. I forget what all they had.
You could hook up a sulky and ride, if you wanted.
Next best thing to a tractor (for poor folks like me :D )

CathieG - June 8, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
We have one, have not used it in awhile. I could see if my dad would like to sell it. Right now I don't even know if it starts. We used it last year I think. I knoe it used to have a tiller, the deck, the seat behind it, and 2 opther attachments, we didn't use them so I don't know what they are called. Just remember, we are in Fla.

Please do. I don't mind one needing some work. Actually, I prefer it. Makes it cheaper. lol

Panama City or there abouts, wasn't it? I bought a sailboat there once.

Joey - June 8, 2007 10:49 PM (GMT)
Oh and Thanks, Cathy. I appreciate it.

WldHrt02 - June 9, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
Wow, I've never even heard of one. I don't think I wanna walk behind any thing. I prefer to ride! :D

Joey - June 9, 2007 04:59 AM (GMT)
Yeah well, you won't buy me a trractor, so I do what I have to. lol

tadamagic - June 9, 2007 05:09 AM (GMT)

QUOTE (Joey @ Jun 8 2007, 10:59 PM)
Yeah well, you won't buy me a trractor, so I do what I have to. lol

Well, hold your horses, give me time, I'm working on it. In the meantime, go ahead and get us the gravely!!

Joey - June 9, 2007 11:05 PM (GMT)
Yeah right... like you'd share your new tractor :P

WldHrt02 - June 9, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
Sure I will. I might not have a trailer to haul it on right away though. That happens to be on the list too though, a 16' trailer!! And I might have to drive it for you myself. I'm not sure. I am particular about who gets on my lawn mower, but I'm starting to let people help me these days!!

Joey - June 10, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
I appreciate the offer, but I hate borrowing stuff.
Not to say I wouldn't loan out mine, I just don't like being responsible for someone else's equipment. :)

WldHrt02 - June 11, 2007 02:18 PM (GMT)
People are funny with loaning tractors too. I've had help from a neighbor but he has to drive the tractor and is very busy so the help is limited. Can't wait to get me one!!

Joey - June 11, 2007 03:41 PM (GMT)
If you need a truck to pull it, let me know.
