I have a drop dead georgeous Appaloosa gelding for sale. When I bought him I was told he was 13-15. That man had taken him to a sale and po'd him but that coggins says he's 20.. my vet even says he's around 13-15. All I know is my 7 yr old can ride him, lead him, brush him.. do whatever she wants with him. He rides with a hack and will take it slow or pick the pace up depending on the rider. He is a grade gelding, if he were registered, trust me, the price would be higher!!! We currently have him stalled and he deserves better. He would be a perfect lesson horse or therapy horse!!! Has rode the dixie national ride and does parades WITH children!!! UTD on shots .. worming.. and have neg coggins. $1200.00 FIRM
We are currently in search of more acreage thats set up for horses. So his sale will have a requirement with it that if whoever gets him..goes to sell him..we get first chance at him!!!

I'm guessing around 15 hands.. I haven't measured him, cant find my tape anywhere. He needs to be out eating in a pasture.. not grazing on hay in a stall. I HATE to part with him but I think its in his best interest. This was a very hard decision for me!!!

If he was a little shorter, I'd probably know someone. Oh well.
He's a pretty horse. :)

I have bad knees and I can mount him with no pain or trouble. If you would like I can measure him.. I do know that a hand is 4 in. :) (please correct me if I'm wrong on that.. lol ) I just want to make sure he goes to a good home!

I understand about the good home.
I've always thought that was important, too.
I think they're wanting something closer to 14h than 15h.
They're a beginner rider and size intimidates them.

We could give him a good home. We have two daughters one is 8 and the other id 5. They have been "riding" for about 2 years. They are good as long as they feel they are in control. Does he load well? We live in Carthage. We have a 20 year old QH mare, a 6 yr. old QH gelding, and a 10 month old filly. How does he get along with other horses? Where are you from?
