My name is Amy Forsyth, I am from Jefferson County Alabama, i am looking for a horse I traded to a man outside of tupelo Mississippi. The horse is a Palamino grade tennessee walking horse, he has a white stripe on his face, and three white feet. He has dapples around his flanks and shoulders. Goes by the name Rio. Rio should be about 14-16 years old. In good condition he should weigh around 1100 pounds, and is 16.1 hands tall. I traded him for a registered APHA breeder stock gelding, that was supposed to have 90 days of training on him, well needless to say I ran him through a horse sale in Attalla AL, and got $400.00 for him, he had a cataract in his left eye. I guess the details are not important but i had Rio for 9 years when i traded him and was told the man ran him through an auction shortly after getting him. I am interested in any information I can get on my beloved Rio.

He had impeccable ground manners when i left him, tied, loaded, ground tied, stretched out for mounting, bathed, etc. Under saddle he was fearless I logged many power line trail and mountain with him, his only vice was a rearing problem i could not correct.

Please if anyone has any information at all about how i could reach an owner or someone that may have seen him at a horse sale, i would be forever grateful.
