Title: Peruvian Stud Or Paso Stud Needed

Wheeliehorse2006 - January 3, 2007 03:18 AM (GMT)
Hey all,
I am looking for either a Peruvian Stud or a full blooded Paso Fino stud to breed to my mare next year. I don't know if anyone knows of anyone who has those specific breeds of studs but I just figured I would ask for a heads-up and see on here first before I look elsewhere for a man for my girl! Hope everyone has a great new year and safe and happy trails!

Wow Joey,
He is absolutely stunning. He is like a Paso adonis! lol
I was just wondering what the stud fee is for him and how much would you charge me to keep her there for breeding that is of course if you could spare some room for her of course... what are your terms for his breeding program and what colors has he thrown in babies in the past. I am TOTALLY interested in asking for a breeding spot in his schedule later on.
You make me sick with all you beautiful horses! Well, maybe I can catch up one day! lol

He's a wonderful horse. And has all the good qualities you look for.
Excellent bloodlines. Looks. Personality.
His temperment is great, btw. He's never tried to kick, bite, buck, etc.
His history is like this... he's 15 years old. For the first 13 years of his life he was strictly a studhorse. Last summer, he was greenbroke and I've been riding him ever since. I've even had beginners on him (not that i'm the world's best rider either) and he's always kind and considerate.

'Ledo is being gelded probably in mid-febuary, btw, due to having an aged mare and not enough room.

Stud fee would depend on if you want the foal registered or not.
If you don't need papers, then $100 fee plus boarding for the mare.
There is one condition on breeding: if your mare damages him, then you pay all vet bills and if it's permanent, then you just bought a Paso Fino stallion for 5k (replacement cost).
Registered foal depends on what PFHA is going to charge me.
If you're seriously interested in a registered foal, let me know and i'll find out.
probably in the neighborhood of $500, more or less.

Leigh, the filly is his daughter.
