Title: Reccomend me a decent laptop

I'm working with a 5 year old laptop, and it's a piece of shit. The battery in it doesn't work anymore unless the adapter is plugged in, and I've had to reformat the goddamn thing three times already (the third being about an hour ago, losing everything I had saved.) That said, I need a new one. One that won't crap out on me anytime soon.
NEED HELP BADLY!

Well... I've have an Acer Aspire laptop as well as my dad. I've had mine for about a year and a half while he's had his for about...3 years. It hasn't done anything stupid yet and well, neither has his.

From what I understand Acer is a good brand. But what you need is just some random laptop with Amiga OS on it. Then you'd be cool.
