Title: Sorry, Sore Topic, Blast Me As Usual
Description: $ per hour office manager makes?
For the league - April 17, 2007 07:30 AM (GMT)
Forgive me.
Trails seems to be farmed out and is not updated weekly as in the past. Now, maybe every two or three months. One less task the office manager has to deal with.
The office is never open on Saturday anymore. Alma, the first League Office Manager started this years ago. Saturday was a busy day.
A financial report used to be available for all to see. Where is this now?
More than once weekly scores were not updated. No, not due to only a FLA vacation.
I think the league does need to see where it's money is going.

I'm with Mike!! For the league, I don't even know who you are and your pissing me off. You come across as a very insecure little girl. Everything you say seems as if your at school with my 12 year old daughter. If your that insecure, find a man or a woman and talk to them about it. This is not the forum for this. This forum is for supporting LEDA members discussing likes and dislikes.
I am a newer member to LEDA. I feel that it is being ran very well. I don't know what happened in the past and yes it is the past. WE must move forward to make things better. It seems most of your comments are done on hignsite. If you really don't like the way the league is being run, than get off the fence, grab your one friend, and start your own damn league.
You can call it: FOR THE LEAGUE, ME AND MY ONE FRIEND or ISDL (INSECURE DART LEAGUE)

Thank you, Craig. For the League, whatever your agenda is, get over it. If it was to aggravate the other members, consider it accomplished. Would we like the Trails points updated more often? Yes. But that's not on the office manager, that's on those who run trails on that given day getting the sheets to the office manager. Don't know if you're aware, but just about everyone who posts anything on this forum believes Dianna does a great job in the office, and everyone who does know who you are thought you were basically pitiful in the office. I'm not going to say that no one cares, because if we didn't, we wouldn't bother posting responses. It just baffles me that you would post something and not expect negative feedback. Seriously, this thought went completely through from idea to execution of idea, and it still sounded good in your head? Wow. Do the league a favor, take any future idiotic ideas and disappear with them. We'll all be better off because of it.
To the actual league members and board members, please take note that there are things that we can improve and we can find ways that don't involve mooning anyone (sorry Dusty, that shot was a disturbing visual).
Stinger - April 17, 2007 04:10 PM (GMT)
OMG is there a way the people who run this forum can make this person go away?
For the League is not an LEDA member, and is just a trouble maker, please make her go away...........

I could have blocked her a long time ago (and would have been within my rights to do so since this was supposed to be for LEAGUE MEMBERS ONLY) but she already edited part of her own posts and tried to blame us for it, but I didn't want to give her any more reason for her delusions of importance and the grand scheme to keep her opinions down to get any more blown out of proportion. Apparently she didn't need any help with that. Oh well. Like any other balloon full of hot air, if we quit filling her up, eventually she'll eventually fall flat right?
dboy131 - April 17, 2007 09:17 PM (GMT)
Yeah, but the question is how much hot air's in the baloon? Like anyone can't find out the financials in this league. BTW, was she at Lino's Saturday? There was a lot of money being passed around. I figured she wanted to be the accountant. It's quite alright, since John does a fine job of it to begin with. Besides, the topic does include, "Blast me as usual," so I felt obligated to blast away. I never need permission, but since I had it. . . .
DUSTY - April 17, 2007 10:20 PM (GMT)
There ya go dboy I changed it just for u.
MikeD - April 17, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)
Let's just ignore her and maybe she'll go away.
winniefussner - April 18, 2007 02:51 PM (GMT)
You can ignore her all you want, she won't go away unless she's blocked and then she could sign up under a different name.
LMAO! WE'd still know who she was from the posts...LOL!
Listen the fact is she's campaigning for an old darter that very few want back in office. She's under the understanding that if this person gets elected she will get her job back...LMAO!!!
See the point is Debbie, you will NOT get your old job back no matter who runs or gets elected. The BOARD has to APPROVE it. And I know they WON'T!!!
As I said in another post...crawl under your rock and stay there. NO ONE here cares to listen to your childish rants, innuendoes, comments or questions.
dboy131 - April 18, 2007 10:11 PM (GMT)
First off, Dusty, thanks! You're always looking out for me.
Second, since she likes to bring up the past, let's remind her that in the time she's been gone (along with the old regime) the Lake Erie Classic has returned, the LEDA/Lino's Spring Fling has been added, we've added the Top Dawg All-Star shoot to go along with the Challenge for our All-Star Team. We've added the League Singles Championships, as well. We still have the annual banquet, the annual picnic, and we still hand out plaques every year. Does this sound like a league going belly up? It's not like we're not privy to league financial numbers. The board meetings are open to all members, and I have attended several of them. Not once was I asked to leave the room so that they could discuss money issues.
So that everyone is aware, my issue is not with someone worried about how much the office manager is paid. Like I said, any member can find that information out. My issue is with an outsider who is blasting members of this club who's intention has been for what is best for the LEDA. I know people have had opinions, both good and bad, about several members about the board, but deep down their intentions were for the overall good of the LEDA. It's hard to balance moving forward with remembering our past, but that is important. I've been lucky enough to have known several of the older, even original, members for several years now. Thanks to them, I understand a lot about what has been in past years, and why it's important to them. At the same time, we must move ahead. Promoting this league and the game are crucial to the League thriving, which is why crap like hers should be blasted with regularity.
yeagermiester - April 19, 2007 06:58 AM (GMT)
AMEN, dboy!
As many of you know I have been a long standing member of this club and know many of the original members who got the whole ball rolling. My hat is off to them.
I agree with dboy that our job as members is to promote the sport of darts. We must continue this campaign above all other issues at hand. This club has always been important to me and my record shows that. Of course we must also continue to strive to make things more cost effective by streamlining office proceedures, cost cutting and breaking into the 21st century of automation.
With this in mind, mailing costs have lowered considerably since most members now have email. Those that do not still get their regular snail mail copy if requested. The Office Manager's salary is a Board decision and should be kept within that boundry. I don't think (non-profit or not) that I would appreciate everyone in Lake County knowing what my pay rate was, would you? It's really none of their business.
The board is comprised of five people from all walks of life, many professionals in their own right, who know what it takes to run an office and this club efficiently. They work tirelessly to assist this club and perform their duties with very little thanks, with the exception of the appreciation a minor few.
Nothing is done unless a Board vote is taken. The Board of Directors are in charge of this club (with the exception of the members themselves) and their decisions are based on knowledge, expertice, understanding, dependablilty, honesty and trustworthiness. I know them all personally and can honestly say they are some of the best people I know.
As for the comments made by Debbie, well I will save those for a personal email when my time allows. If you want a copy, I will be happy to provide you with one on a BCC so she doesn't start harrassing you at home as she does us here...lol. Just send me an email at yeagermiester@oh.rr.com and I will be happy to add you to the list, not that any of you give a damn...lmao!!!
For the league - April 20, 2007 08:46 AM (GMT)
Linda take some more meds and get a real life.
I am not promoting anyone here. I ask a few guestions. As always, you chime in to bash me and accuse I want my job back. Plus, you post here under different screen names and call me names and swear at me.
You accuse me of harrassing you at home? Pretty harse words. I do hope you have documentation of this. Will you be seeing me in court or will I be seeing you?
Does the word slander ring a bell?
Do you even know what constitutes harrassing in the state of Ohio? Guess not.
Know one cares you have been on the board.
You seem to think this carrys some weight. It does not. As you posted, no one gives a damn. Sorry, to say, you seem to think so many like you. I didn't see many jumping to be on your summer league.
As you say, lmao
Rose - April 20, 2007 08:32 PM (GMT)
I commend Dianna and all the other volunteers on the great jobs they do. Without them, there would be no tournaments, no trails, no allstar team, no banquet or picnic. Obviously, league has to be the number one priority of the Office, without League you'd have none of the rest. But the rest is all done by volunteers.
"For the League" has brought up some valid questions: Why aren't trails points updated more regularly?" and "Who is running for office?" and "Where can I see financial records?" Great questions that I'm sure other people might wonder but never actually ask. And I believe these questions were answered fairly quickly and with knowledgable and straightforward replies.
So, where's the problem? <_<
We move on to the "drama" section of the forum: innuendos, suggestion of ulterior motive, name calling, personal attacks, threats of lawsuits...... Honestly, it all seems like PERSONAL BS that should be handled privately between the individuals involved, NOT on a PUBLIC forum. (Although it HAS been rather ENTERTAINING!!!) :P LOL
So I guess I just want to say "For the League" if you really were "For the League" I think when your question was answered, a reply of just "Thank you" would have been sufficient, or maybe a follow-up question that was on topic may have been warranted. But to make comments solely to rile people up really isn't necessary.
Just my two cents worth!!!
(By the way, "FTL" I don't read "yeagermeister's" post to say that you are harrassing her at home, I read it to say that you're harrassing people here, on the forum. Don't get so defensive, they're just words, exactly what a forum is for.)
