Title: Why Aren't Trials Points Ever Up Dated?
Description: They seem to lag a few months behind

For the league - April 12, 2007 08:15 AM (GMT)
Just wondering.

No bashers please.

Just an honest question.

dboy131 - April 12, 2007 12:19 PM (GMT)
It's an ongoing question that is constantly asked. We really should find a way to keep it better updated.

DUSTY - April 12, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
Trails(not trials) points are not updated all the time because I dont do them.I know my fault...For one the envelopes dont get pick up but once a month.I dont see the reason behind making someone drive to the locations every week and if your going to say make them drop them off at the office I just am wondering who will pay for my DUI...For two if u look at points from my point of view that if u show up once a week as most of you do and take first place we will say u get 20 point...that give u 80 a month and if you did this for 3 month u have 240 point still not enough...I will say when you are getting close and you know you are taking a trip I try to get them updated faster...For the most part people should have a pretty good idea have many points they have...
You can slam me here on the forum or you can come shoot trails on Friday night at Seaway(just make sure you come to have fun)..you know ill be there and ill answer any question that you have..Sorry I suck at typing

Stinger - April 12, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
I for one think that as long as trails points are updated every 2 or 3 months that should be adequate enough. I mean how many points can you really get in a month that you need to see it every month. I know that taking care of a web site can be very time consuming and I think our web person does this as a volunteer do you think we should just pile on.
Just my thoughts.

For the league you don't even play trails, so why does this concern you???

we've already gone over this subject and it's much better then it used to be. Thanks to whoever has taken on this thankless task.

For the league - April 13, 2007 08:58 AM (GMT)
Stinger,
how do you know I don't play trails? Maybe I just watch and see how my friends do and rib them about how good or bad they played.

Trails used to be updated more than it is now.

It does not matter if I play or not.

Stinger - April 13, 2007 01:22 PM (GMT)
Debbie I know you don't play trails because I never see you there. I also know you are not a member of the LEDA; you are the X-office Mgr.
I really wish you would stop posting if all you are going to do is complain and try to stir things up, but hey it's a free country with freedom of speech just ask Imus.

What ever,

DUSTY - April 13, 2007 02:03 PM (GMT)
If that is the worst thing people complain about then I guess im still doing a good job. But thats just my opinion.

DUSTY - April 13, 2007 02:21 PM (GMT)
Spiderman, you can thank Dianna (imagine that) for updating the trails web page. But if there is a complaint please keep them directed towards me. She only does it to help me out.

For the league - April 14, 2007 09:15 AM (GMT)
Stinger,

You seem to know much about me and be rude.

How about more about you?

Or are you one that chats and hides id behind a forum?

All mouth?

eastsidertony - April 16, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
I haven't really noticed ANYONE be rude one here at all. The only one that's really been rude is the one that only posts something when that have a finger to point at someone that is supposedly not doing their job. Of course that seems to be quickly followed by several people (that actually remember you) jumping in and mentioning how much worse it all was when you were doing whatever it is you're complaining about at the time. I think it is time for a change. But the change is your sad attempt at making the people that bust their butts to make this league great shouldn't have to listen to your petty little jabs and attempts at causing dissent. Anyone that is really involved in this league KNOWS how hard Dianna, The Board, And the Committee Chairs and all the volunteers work. For that they deserve thanks.

tony,

your reply has respects of "clone" all over it.
Much has already been said more than once.

Would you like to add something new and original?

For the league - April 17, 2007 07:13 AM (GMT)

Dusty, no one said you were doing a bad job. You can only work with what you have.

You responded to SpiderMan as to Trails being updated.

You made it sound like you are to keep trails updated on the web page but the office manger helps you out.

This makes no sense to me. It should be the office manager that has access to be able to add info you give her so things are updated.

It is not a case of her helping you out. She gets paid to do this.

Stinger - April 17, 2007 04:03 PM (GMT)
You know what I am sick of your crap Debbie and I really thing you're bringing down this forum. You are not a member of the LEDA you never have anything good to say, I think you're an idiot and I am done reading and responding to your post.
Have a great life, and goodbye.

If she isn't a league member we shouldn't grant her the satisfaction of a response. If we ignore her maybe she'll go away.

DUSTY - April 17, 2007 10:13 PM (GMT)
It really is my job not Dianna's responsibility to update trails.

winniefussner - April 18, 2007 02:41 PM (GMT)
Dusty, You do a great job at a very thankless committee. Running Trails is a hard job. You are doing fine.

Debbie,
I always knew you were an asshole and now you've proven it. Go grawl under your rock and stay there because the rest of us have had enough. Either shut up or put up...not out!!!

yeagermiester - April 19, 2007 07:01 AM (GMT)
Hey Dusty, Give me a call if you need someone to make a weekly pickup of the envelopes. I'd be happy to do it as I'm all over town anyway during the week.

I really don't want anyone to get a DUI or some damn trails points but I'll help if needed to keep your cute butt out of hot water. LMAO! Tell your lovely Lady I said HI!!!

For the league - April 19, 2007 08:12 AM (GMT)
winniefuss, yeager, one in the same? Or do you post under other names on this forum too?

Nice mouth. I have never called you a swear word in a forum. I never would.
I respect your views and would not lower myself to your level.

You must have been brought up right to swear at someone that does not agree with you.

If you can't say something adult, don't post.

tomphotographer - April 20, 2007 02:47 AM (GMT)
Dusty,

How meny people are taking trips? I mean is it that important to someone that they need a weekly update? Who out there is so close to taking a trip they need to track there points? I think an update every three months is fine. I can figure out about where my points are. If I really need to know so I can take a trip I can ask you personally. You show up to enough trails. If it's that important then that person should get there points every night before they leave so they can keep track them self.

Thanks, Tom

dboy131 - April 20, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
Three months may seem a little long, but Tom does have a point. It's not like people are beating on Dusty's door to find out their Trails points.
