Het why isn't this area being used to inform people of events like Columbus? I would have liked to go to Columbus had I known in time that it was coming up...

The intention of this particular area was to inform people of upcoming LEDA events and other local tournaments. As of now, I think the calendar feaure works well for that purpose. That said, I'm sure nobody would have a problem though if someone would like to volunteer to post any upcoming tournaments they would like on here. Anything to promote the game.
