Title: Fall Darts
Description: Available players
blitzme2 - May 1, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
So everyone is sick of the silence lets get some comments about this.
From what i have heard there is alot of diamond player's looking for new teams. Also heard that some diamond teams are losing player's or looking for new player's. Just wondering if any one new of any good combination for a dart team with all the possible available player's.

Well, let me see that I can do to add to this. I'm sure there are a lot of players moving and shifting. We should almost start a rumor section, like they have on ESPN.com. Don't tell me people wouldn't look at that site regularly, thinking that rumors would be something different.

Good idea,
I would like to take a moment to dispell a vicious rumor started by one, Michael Dobish, Jason Roby is quite comfortable with his current team and not looking to enter the free agent market. He agreed to sign a long term contract with his current Player's Club affiliation as long as Heather Doll continues to provide him with cupcakes and marshmallow peeps.
He could not be reached for comment, but his girlfriend is quoted as saying, "I'm so glad we're staying with Ian's team. He is soooooo good looking!)

I'm interested in this topic.

Well, the trade rumor I heard was that Roby was being dealt to Dobish's team for 2009 draft pick (lottery protected, of course), 4 doughnuts, 3 rice krispy treats, $25.00, and part of Chris Yanick's the early-in-the-night-before-he's-hammered sense of humor.

Good thing you qualified the point in the evening when Yanick's sense of humor is tolerable. I, as everyone knows, am always funny.
On topic though, For just about every rumor I've heard, there's been 3 denials. Is everyone that afraid to be "stuck" with a team. One thing I can confirm is that Dart Hell is dead and all involved are free agents. (it remains to be seen if some will end up playing again.)

Shouldn't Tom be joining the BOUNCE OUTS??? :P
BTW- I would take Heather and her cupcakes any time on my team. ;)
eastsidertony - May 7, 2008 02:17 PM (GMT)
See Mike, I was trying to keep it clean on here and not comment on Heather's cupcakes. I blame my poor performance in both leagues this year on the fact that she was in the mood just about every time I threw a dart. She was even there (playing on a different board) at some of our away matches. Those cupcakes can sure be distracting.
timmyp - May 7, 2008 04:49 PM (GMT)
They really dont bounce, they just sort of fall. Im talking about Toms darts. I dont know about the cupcakes.
MikeD - May 7, 2008 10:01 PM (GMT)
Good point Tim. They do just sort of fall. Tom's darts- not the cupcakes.
Ian - May 8, 2008 03:11 AM (GMT)
Heather has the best cupcakes in the LEDA! I can understand how they'd be distracting. Wait a minute, are we still talking about the one's she bakes?! OMG you guys are making boob jokes! I can' believe it!
Ian - May 8, 2008 03:24 AM (GMT)
From Heather:
Usually, cupcakes sell for about .50 or $1.00 at our school bake sale, but I'm willing to have a special LEDA price of .25. I think that's a pretty good deal.
MikeD - May 8, 2008 11:09 AM (GMT)
Boob jokes? Where is your mind Ian? Heather really does bake good cupcakes. I'd be willing to buy a couple.
dboy131 - May 8, 2008 02:20 PM (GMT)
Just to confirm: Tom Samolis has bought new darts! They have reduced his fall outs and bounce outs drastically! See the chart below:
Before: 3.6 Bounce outs per leg, 1.4 Fall outs per leg
After: 2.0 Bounce outs per leg, .5 Fall outs per leg
An amazing 50% reduction! ! !

why are you guys making Boobie jokes i think he had a decent year and and i wouldn't call him a cupcake either.
MikeD - May 14, 2008 09:31 PM (GMT)
Hey Spidey, why did you capitalize the word boobie? Is it that important to you? Did you notice the latest forum member? His name is cupcakes! ;)
Ian - May 15, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
That's me (Heather) - Ian signed me up as cupcakes because he thinks he's funny...

dmiller - May 15, 2008 05:52 PM (GMT)
Well I think that when the Canadian's come down in September, we should be able to try Heather's cupcakes also free of charge...and real cupcakes...not boobs...we have enough of those up here also...lol
blitzme2 - May 15, 2008 06:31 PM (GMT)
So i see you guy are only intrested in talking about the so called cupcakes. Not saying those cupcakes arent worth talking about but i am still interesting in the topic a started with.
timmyp - May 16, 2008 10:28 AM (GMT)
HUH  anyway im looking forward to seeing some of those Canadian boobs.
