I felt like I had to let you all know about this game last night. Eugene Ciasullo and Bill Toma played Mike Cronlotac and Ari Lehtonen in a doubles cricket match that went the full three games. The third game was the best game I've seen in a long time. The final score was 802-800, with several seven counts. The final swung both ways, and each time it looked like one team would take a substantial lead, it would quickly disappear. Even at the end of the game, there were discussions of how to play the final turn, with nine of us coming up with about 6 different thoughts. I really wish some of the players in the lower divisions could have witnessed the match. It was really a great learning experience and all four players stepped up repeatedly in a leg that seemed like it would never end.
