Is there anyone else interested in playing in the winter season of the Thursday Singles League? I think everyone who has played so far will agree that their game has improved as a result. Post here or contact Dannyboy if you are interested.

This season the divisions will be set according to talent level so don't be afraid to come out and give it a try.

To answer SpadeS' question(s), it's a singles league, where you play 1 match per week in a best-of-19 format. All games are 501, free in/double out. We do several side things as we try to maintain everyone's interest for the entire season, regardless of what your record is in the league. If you ask anyone who has played in it over the summer and fall, they will most likely tell you that they have enjoyed it.

Yes it does. Get there as early as you can (around 6 or 6:30-ish).

We've got to work on getting a couple of easels set up for future weeks. Or get a couple of matches rescheduled. Ian and Chris were still playing at 11:00 when I left.

Last night was my first night in the Singles 501 league. What a great time. My hat is off to Ian Miller who smoked me 10-5. Ian is one of my favorite darters to play, we usualy go down to the wire. I actually think I got better just from the one night and look forward to the rest of the season, although look out Ian now im gunnin for ya, lol. The best part of the league other than the darts, are all the cool, helpful people. I will buy all of you a beer over the coarse of the season, except for Ian, I owe him two.

I look forward to the rematch Chris. You'll learn a lot playing here and everyone is very willing to help out with any questions. The last two seasons have been great for me despite and merciless beatings I had to endure. I've learned so much and you will too. Great to have you on board.

Sorry Chris had to get introduced to the league with it, but hey at least he doesn't have to play Eugene and Ari twice each!!

It promises to be a lot of fun, with the competition getting better and better each season.
