This is only a possible suggestion because of something I noticed. Since Diamond 1 has so many has so many teams out of 1 bar, I noticed that my team plays at the same location for the first 9 weeks, and 12 of 14 overall. It's not that this was a mistake, it's just that all of the D1 teams happened to be out of the same place. Probably the first time in a long time, if ever, that this has happened.

My suggestion is that instead of Diamond 1 and Diamond 2, we break them up into Diamond 1A and Diamond 1B, this way there is a little variety to where we play every week. Yes, there is a little bit of disparity at the top, but the overall level of play isn't that much different between D1 and D2.

It's just a thought.

I like this suggestion, but how would it be formated. Do all the teams from Dimond 1-2 play each team only once, and how would you devide into Dimond 1a and b? How would you determine top darters, and how would you determine the winners of Dimond 1a and 1b? I do agree that the level of play isn't that much different. The question is there how would it be formated?

I will give it a shot and see how it goes. Dimond 2 is a good compition as it is, but it would make things more intersting to play a wider variaty of talent.

It was really an idea based on everyone in Diamond 1 being located at the same place. I just thought of taking Diamond 1 and Diamond 2, splitting them in half, taking the top half of each division and combining them, then the bottom half of both and combining them, and calling them Diamond 1A and Diamond 1B (hope you followed, I get long-winded).

I understand that logistically, it can be a nightmare. It was just a thought.

On a related note, there is one particular member (who I'll keep nameless) who I would like to thank. I know they read the forum, and they take the time to come out and answer the questions that people have. So thank you for taking the time out to do just that.

I get what you are saying and i like the idea of taking the top and bottom of the 2 devisions and combining top to top and bottom to bottom. But like you said it could become a nightmare! Maybee there is someone who someone can talk to about makeing this a posible soulution if the location problem is still a factor in some disapointment next half witch is likley to happen again. Like i said talk to the captains and get a opinion with all the people who are going to be involved in the making of the new development of this combanation of dimond 1 and dimond 2.

Basically, I was looking for a way to spread out teams with the same location. I'm sure there have been issues like this in previous seasons (like when Lino's had 10 teams, or when everyone was playing at Shoot The Bull), so I was looking to provide a solution to it. The real problem is the software. It really isn't designed to work in that manner. Oh well. It isn't anything detrimental to the league.

Your right it isn't dentrimental to the league, but it can make things a bit boring for the teams that play at the same bar over and over again and again. that gets to be a real drag. The thing is i don't know what is going to be the effect of where all the teams are going to be shooting out of the winter half or even next fall but if it is a reoccurring theam to the dimond division maybee something can be done about it. I think for the mean time sit back relax and see where the lovely world takes us this half.
