Manami skipped down the beach, looking around, mainly up at the sky. She smiled and giggled slightly. It was night time and she was bored, she stayed a good space away from the waves, not caring to get wet at the moment.

Ian jumped down form a large rock, a knife in his hand. He was looking for some fun, preferably a good killing. The soft glint in his eye was dulled by the years in prison he suffered. A smile etched on his lips at the site of young Manami, skipping down the shoreline.
Ian crouched down, following her quietly, waiting to attack.

Manami giggled a bit and spun around, hearing the soft sifting of the sand behind her. "You can stop following me now thank you" She giggled. She sniffed at the air, and smirked. "By any chance...is it you Ian...? The one who walked in on that one girl when she was skinny dipping at the waterfall?" She called, raising an eyebrow. "Midori...I believe her name was...."

Ian blinked and climbed on the rock. He glared at the woman.
"Who are you and how do you know my name?" he growled. "I don't give out my name unless necessary. Answer me."

Manami laughed and smiled up at him. "I KNEW it was you! And I just told you, I was the girl who walked in on yours and Midori's argument after you walked in on her when she was skinny dipping. You called out your name and left." She smirked. "Still as grumpy as ever I see."

"Been stuck in a damn prison for a while. Gets annoying when you get shocked everytime you open your damn mouth," Ian said.

"Ooooh! Someone got caught doing something bad! Spill!!!" Manami giggled. "I'll tell you some of the stuff I had to do back in the gang I was in" She said somewhat deviously. She skipped up to the rock he was standing on and looked up at him.

"I am under confidentiality. I say nothing if I want to live," Ian said.
He crossed his arms and glared at her.

"Damn...Oh alright, now WHY do you have a knife in your hand and WHY were you following me?" Manami growled slightly and glared back.

"What do you think?" Ian asked.
He glared lightly at her and put up the knife.

Manami smirked and looked him in the eyes. "You couldn't kill me. Learn about a person before you decide to be their assasin." She said, the smirk never leaving her face.

"What do you think I was doing, young one? I've been in this business for years. Don't tell me how to do my job," Ian smirked back.

"So have I. Hell, I started training when I was five" Manami said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Good for you. Now I have to find a new target...no fun," Ian yawned.

"Sorry to ruin your idea of a good time" Manami teased him and looked out over the ocean.

"Meh, just an old habit I want back," Ian shrugged, taking out his blade again and looking at it.

Manami shrugged slightly and plopped down on the sand, bored. She didn't know what to do now.....

"So what are you doing out here?" Ian asked after a long pause.

"Nothing else to do, and I haven't had to assasinate anyone since I got here so I figured I'd just explore a bit. You?" Manami asked, not looking up at him but out at the ocean.

"Want to bring up my old habits again. Haven't been able to do anything for a while, ya know," Ian shrugged, sitting on the warm sand.

Manami sighed and nodded, she laid back in the sand, staring at the sky. "Being on your own is boring...." She muttered. "Man...I actually miss Fang...she was fun to piss off..." She smirked but shook her head and glanced over at Ian. "So, if you don't mind my asking, why aren't you still trying to kill me?"

"I just started not to long ago. You were there. I was bored. Didn't and still don't know you..many reasons," Ian said. "Who is Fang?"

"Old rival in the gang I was in" Manami shrugged, "She hated me, I hated her, we tried killing eachother a lot but neither of us succeeded" She said simply.

"What happened to her?" Ian asked, glancing in her direction.

"Hmm...last time I checked....She was getting her ass beat by some fourteen year old...considering she's been in training longer than I have, and she's about twenty five, that's sad." Manami said, smirking

"Very, but I've seen worse. Thirty-six-year-old getting his ass handed to him by a ten year old. Ten year old just got into the business," Ian chuckled.

Manami giggled and nodded, "Same, eight year old, never even fought a day in his life, took down an entire class of fourty seven chunin level ninja without breaking a sweat." She sighed, shaking her head and giggled softly. "Though, I am curious, who was the ten year old?"

"Who name was Kiki...Think she died," Ian shrugged. "Who was the eight year old?"

((I fudged the facts a bit but oh well))

"His name was Zabuza...he got killed by this guy...Kakashi....But, we brought him back to life using a special jutsu" Manami shrugged. She propped herself up on her elbows.

"Sounds like fun. How'd he kill him?" Ian asked.

"First they were just fighting...then Kakashi pinned Zabuza down with his dog summon and used chidori on him...but this other guy got in the way and died instead...still not sure if it was a dude or not...but anyway, that guy died, and Zabuza tried avenging his death by killing his old boss, even though he was almost dead and had no control of his arms...he succeeded in that...but quickened his death in the long run...." Manami looked over more towards Ian's general direction, "Now that I think about it, Zabuza really killed himself by going to suicide lengths to avenge his friend...and he was supposed to be a bad guy! Pffft" She laughed a bit.

Ian blinked a little, trying to follow.
"Right....okay then," he nodded.

Manami laughed a bit and smiled over at him, "I just completely confused you didn't I?" She smirked. "What didn't you get?" She asked.

"I got it all...just didn't know any one did that anymore," Ian blinekd

"Well it was a good few years ago that it happened, and a lot of people do that where I come from." Manami giggled slightly.

"Hmm...and where do you come from, miss?" Ian asked.

"The hidden star village of Japan" Manami smiled, "And you?" She asked.

"Dunno...Been to so many places, you forget where you started..or I do, atleast. I think I was born in a country far from here called Scorpia. That or I helped destroy it," Ian said.

Manami giggled softly, nodding. "Yeah, I suppose if I really traveled much I'd be the same way...."

"Thats my job though. I'd rather stay in one place for a long time like you, ye it is fun to see the sites. Ya know," Ia nsaid.
