A large crowd of people swarmed the streets of Asa, stores full, lines made. Everything was busy that evening.
Though there were a few who were annoyed. It wasn't the crowd that annoyed them, it was the stalking wolf cub.
The Puppy was white with a black back, face, and tail. On its forehead were white lines. A small chain hooked around its front right foot, but it made not a single sound.
The pup was walking behind a woman, covering his face with its paws as if it was begging to play everytime she turned around, looking cute as ever.

Hana walked with a sigh, trying to ignore the cute cup behind her. DOn't give in to it...don't give in to it...you'll only take it home and you do not need that... She kept thinking to herself, sighing all the while. It was 5 minutes later till she cracked and turned around. She bent down to it's level and stared at it, "Is there something you need?" She asked in a playfully tone as she poked it's fluffy head.

The cub looked up at Hana with big black eyes and barked in a small voice. It liked her finger, his tail wagging.

"I don't speak wolf..." Hana said, picking the cub up. She looked for a tag or some sort of identification, but none was there. "Where do you belong huh?" She said with a slight sigh. She petted his head gently.

The pup barked, but soon began growling. Its fine hair was slowly rising as he stared at the man behind Hana.

Shire blinked and stared at the dog.
"Where'd you get that at?" he asked.

Hana turned around, wolf pup in hand. "I found him." She said, smiling at Shire. "Isn't he cute? I think he's all alone." She said as she leaned over and kissed Shire lightly on the cheek. "Want to get some coffee? We can take this one with us..." She said, talking about the wolf pup./

The pup growled louder, glaring at Shire.
"I don't think it likes me much. You can bring it if you want, but please keep it away from me," Shire said, taking a step back.

Hana blinked, tilting her head slightly. "Now shush you..." She said, scolding the wolf pup. "He has done nothing wrong, now calm down..." She said, then feeling a tad guilty for yelling at it, she kissed it on the head. "He's a good guy."

The pup yipped and licked Hana's cheek, glaring at Shire one last time.
"The mutt has issues," Shire sighed, "I swear its sexist!"

Hana laughed, "Perhaps, but it must've been abused by a male and only trusts females. Who knows, maybe he'll warm up to you!" Said Hana as she started walking down the street towards the coffee shop.

The pup laid its head on Hana's shoulder, staring at Shire as he walked behind them. The pup stuck his tongue out. Shire stuck his tongue at the pup.

"Stop teasing the puppy Shire...." Said Hana as she looked back at them in time to see Shire stick his tongue out at the little wolf pup. She giggled lightly. "Honestly, you two haven't known each other for long and yet you fight like children."

"He started it," Shire said, crossing his arms. "I do not act like a child."
The pup grinned and stuck his tongue back out at Shire.

"Yes you do, "SAid Hana looking at him with a small smile. "See, your pouting. My little Shire is pouting." She said, teasing him.

"And he is still sticking his tongue out at me," Shire said, "are you really going to keep that thing?"

"I don't see why I can't," Said Hana as she petted the wolf pups head affectionately. "He's cute, a puppy and all alone. It would be cruel to leave him on the streets. If someone claims him, then I'll let him go back to his original master...till then...he stays with me." Said Hana as she once again, cuddled the puppy.

"All right, what are you going to call the little demon until then?" Shire asked, glaring at the dog.
The pup growled low at Shire, who just reached into his pocket and got out his puppet, Sage. Sage danced in the pal of Shire's hand, spinning around.

"I'm not too sure...." Hana said as she spun around, now walking backwards, as she talked to him. "How bout...Conan? Do you like COnan?" She asked both him and the wolf pup.

The pup yipped and licked Hana's cheek.
"Your dog," Shire sighed, making Sage twirl slightly

Hana giggled lightly and cuddled her dog again. "I think he likes it!" She said with a bright smile that slowly faded into a frown. "What's wrong Shire?" She asked in a low voice. "Do you not like the dog?"

"Just seems familiar in a bad way is all," Shire said.
Conan smirked and yipped, jumping out of Hana's arms and running at Shire. Shire's eyes widened as Conan tackled him and took Sage, racing back over to Hana.

Hana scooped up Conan and after a bit of fighting, she gently pried SAge from his mouth. She scowled at him, "Bad Conan! You don't do that! Bad boy!" She said, shooting him a glare, so that he would learn not to do that again. "HEre, I"m sorry Shire. Perhaps he just...well..he's only a puppy..." She said, biting her lip as she handed SAge back.

Conan whimpered, but smirked at Shire when Hana wasn't looking.
"That dog is a ball of evil fluff," Shire said as he wiped off the dog spit of Sage.

Hana sighed, "He's a puppy, he most likely thought Sage was a toy he could play with and nothing more. I"m sorry Shire. He just needs to be...trained a bit." She said, giving him the puppy-dog eyes. "So..can I keep him and still have a wonderful guy like you?" She asked with a light smile.

"Just not next to each other," Shire smiled.
The dog suddenly growled low, his hair raising slightly

Hana smiled brightly, "I think that can be arranged...just not now..." Hana said, smiling a little sheepishly. She leaned over and gently kissed him. "Thank you Shire." She said with a slight wink, petting Conan as to calm him down.

Conan continued to growl at Shire, ignoring Hana's pets.
"Evil! I swear it!" Shire mumbled, kissing Hana's cheek

Hana giggled lightly than turned to Conan, "What's wrong pup? Shire's a good person! He helped me through a hard time, so be n ice to him please." She asked him as she scratched him behind the ears.

Conan licked Hana's cheek and yipped, half-glaring at Shire. Shire sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Its better, but I still refuse to befriend that thing," he said.

"Aw, come on Shire. He might be good company when's all grown up. He might be a great fighting partner for you or something! Come on, give him a chance!" She said as she giggled lightly when Conan licked her cheek. She kissed him softly and cuddled his fur.

"Well, for now, if he keeps glaring at me like that, there wont be any," Shire said.
Conan stuck his tongue out at Shire, snuggling up against Hana.

Hana sighed and gently stroked Conan's soft and fuzzy head. "He just...most likely doesn't like men. Perhaps if you weren't being like that back to him, he'd like you more." She said softly as she turned into the coffee shop. SHe knew she wouldn't choose between Shire and the wolf pup. If it came to it, she'd get rid of Conan. Find him a nice home with someone.

"I would gladly be nice to it if it didn't growl at me all the time," Shire sighed.
Conan rolled his eyes and yipped at Hana.

Hana set Conan down and sat at a booth, knowing they'd be served soon. Besides, she was in no hurry. "I know, I know. If it comes down to it and both of you don't get along, I'll find Conan a good home and that will be the end of it. How does that sound?" She asked pleasantly.

"Better," Shire said, sitting across from her.
Conan's eyes widened as he heard her plans for the future. A man walked up to the two to take their order.
"Hello. I'm Jack. May I ask what you would like this evening?" he smiled.
"Hot tea please," Shire said.

"Um, hot tea as well. And some water in a dish if you have any." Hana said sweetly to the waiter. She scratched Conan's head and smiled, "For the puppy." she didn't notice that the wolf's eyes had widened in shock.

"Alright. Aww, he's kind of cute. Whats the pup's name?" Jack said, petting Conan.
Conan yipped and licked his hand, making Shire's mouth drop.
"See! Evil! The thing hates me!" Shire said.
"Um...be back with your drinks," Jack said, walking off.

"Conan." Said Hana before the waiter walked off. She laughed a bit, covering her mouth to stifle the giggles, before she was able to speak to him again. "Okay, okay...maybe he does hate you..." Hana said, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. "And if that's the case, I'll find him a home then. Alright?"

"Fine. He looks at me and I am already a dead man toward a pup!" Shire mumbled.
Conan jumped up onto Hana's lap, yiping.

Hana pet Conan absentmindedly, "Calm down Shire. He'll be gone in two to three days. Okay? I'll find him a home and NICE one. You can help if you like." She said as she messed with Conan's head. Truthfully, she would miss the pup, but he'd be better off without her most likely.
