Len, Zaldin and Dante pushed through the moist soil and pulled themselves out of it. Just twenty hours ago, they had passed out and someone mistook them as dead and buried them. They had to wait awhile to finally dig there way out. Thankfully they were close to each other, so searching was out of the question.

"Man, how could that lady think we were dead!" Complained Dante as he brushed dirt of his suit. Zaldin blinked, "We are dead." He said. Len laughed, "Or did you forget?" He taunted. Dante rolled his eyes.

A little ways away was Hana. Sitting on a tombstone that overlooked the cemetery. It was a large tombstone and it happened to be in the path of the full moon that glinted down upon the dead and un-dead. She sighed and pulled her knees to her chest, letting out a choked sob.

Shire jumped over the graveyard's fence ,not far from where Hana was. He was clutching Sage close to him as a big dog lunged at the fence, barking madly.
"Not gonna happen! Get lost you mutt! This is a graveyard, be quiet!" Shire hissed.
The dog growled low and ran off.

Len, Dante and Zaldin looked up, seeing the girl Hana on the tombstone. "So...do we hunt here or..." Dante trailed off. Zaldin shook his head, "Vampire. She would be quite a taste, but right now I want something easy. Shall we leave?" He asked the other two, who nodded. Silent as ghost they slipped out of the graveyard.

Hana looked up, tears still ran from her red eyes. Hurridly, she wipped the tears off and looked around. Her vision still blurred with tears did her no good. "Whose there?!" She whispered loudly.

Shire blinked and turned around, jumping back.
"Holy crap! HANA!" He yelled, running toward her.
Shire wrapped his arms around her, smile spreading across his face.

Hana looked shocked and was shocked as she felt Shire hug her. "Shire? Wha...what are you doing here?" She asked as she slightly hugged him back. She couldn't really cause her arms were pinned to her side.

"Farmer sent his dog to eat Sage, nothing big," Shire smiled, taking a step back, "How about you? This place is to gloomy for someone like you."

hana lowered her head, "No..it's just right for someone like me." She said sadly. She laughed hollowly. "It's fit just for me. Me and the dead." She said, shaking her head. "But you, you don't belong here." She whispered. "WHy come here....?"

"It had a fence?" Shire smiled.
His smile soon turned into a frown and a sigh excaped his lips.
"Hana, you really dont know me well. This place, and many more, are fit for me, for anyone who misses those who have left this earth. You're not the only one who thinks a grave yard is fit for them."

Hana smiled softly as she looked at her hands. Pale and cold with sharp claws. "I know, but you still seem....full of light." She muttered softly. She shifted on the tombstone and sighed again. "I truly am alone, you know? I can't go back to Laynaru province, Susan is dead. Drake is dead, my father, me REAL mother..." Said Hana as she trailed off. "And me. I feel as though I am dead now. A dead being amoungst the living."

"Ok then, fine! I see how it is! I go to get my strength back at the darkest place in the universe for a little while and I'm suddenly left out of your life! Thanks!" He said, crossing his arms.
Shire glanced at Hana from the corner of his eyes and grinned.

Hana looked oddly at Shire, "I...I don't. I just...I..." She trailed off and sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm being moody." She said. "Your my friend, honest...it's just...I..." She trailed off, sighing, unable to say what she meant. She hugged his for a brief moment, before letting go.

((*looks at a random add* zombie...poster?))


Shire blinked and chuckled.
"I was messing, Hana.And, Drake is still technically alive if you want to appologize still," He smiled.

Hana smiled a sad smile, "But it isn't the Drake I know anymore. It's someone else...who most likely won't even want me to know him or who won't know me." She said as she sat back down on the tombstone.

"Well, at least you got me! And I come with an extra buddy!" Shire smiled, holding out Sage.
Sage lifted his head and waved

Hana giggled, unable to keep herself from doing so. "YEs, You do." She said as she gently stroked Sage's head. She couldn't help but continue to think he was alive, dispite the fact that she knew that Shire controlled him.

Shire smiled and placed Sage on Hana's shoulder, sitting down on the dirt.
"So, anything new happen lately?"He asked.

Hana smiled, then looked to the sky. "Other than zombies...no." Said Hana as she swung her legs lightly, being careful not to hit Shire.

"Same, except for the zombie part. Wait! I did find out I liked someone!" Shire smiled.

Hana smiled and clapped them together. "That's great!" She said, smiling, "Who is it?" She asked, curious.

"If I told anyone, how would I be a secret admirer? Besides, she probably wouldnt like a crazy shadow demon like me anyway," Shire smiled.

Hana laughed, "Perhaps she likes crazy." She pointed out, trying look on the bright side of things. "Besides, your not crazy...your just a bit off." She said, smiling.

Shire had to laugh at that.
"Who? Moi? Noooo, I'm not off! I'm perfectly sane!" He smiled.

Hana smiled and playfully rolled her eys, "Of course you are Shire. Who said otherwise?" She teased.

"I have no clue," Shire smiled, "I just thought I should bring it up."

Hana giggled softly, "You are a strange one Shire." She said, tilting her head to look at the dark sky. There were no stars that she could see, just a pale yellowish moon glaring back at them. "Whoever you like, is very lucky to have you. I hope she likes you back." She said, looking down at him from her spot on the tombstone, she smiled.

"I do to, but I know she doesnt. She loves someone else," Shire said, "But I'm still hoping."

Hana tilted her head and laughed somewhat, "Love's like that, ain't it." She said softly. She jumped from the tombstone and landed by Shire. She sat back down and looked up at the moon. Her favorite thing in the world. "When you really love someone, they love someone else....forget about you...or die." She said softly.

"Of course, if you truely love something, set it free, if it comes back, its meant to be," Shire smiled, looking up at the pure moon.

Hana blinked and looked back at Shire. "I...never thought about it like that." She mumbled, "And if it doesn't come back? What then? You're left with a broken heart." She said sighing.

"Thats what patience is for. It will return one day, but if you lose all patience, move on, and hope it will return later," Shire smiled

Hana remained silent, then looked up. "All right. I belive you." She said, smiling. Her doll, the one he had made, flew up to them. She wasn't controlling it, as it fed off moon waves which brought it to life somehow. She had a feeling that it was the cloth he had bought. He flew around her head, making her laugh. "Kyo. Calm down." She said. It nodded and sat on Shire's head.

Shire began to laugh and picked up Kyo.
"Hello again," He said, patting its head.

Kyo waved, "Hi! I like cake! Do you like cake?!" It asked, making Hana blink. "You can talk?" She asked and Kyo looked at her, flicking it's long tail.

"Duh. YOu just never asked me too...." He said, grinning at her. She laughed and sighed at the same time.

"Thats quite new. Havnt seen one of my creations do that," Shire said, looking at Kyo's sewn on eyes.

Kyo blinked, crossing his arms looking proud. "I know! I'm one of a kind baby!" He said, punching the air. "And soon, I won't be a doll. NOt anymore!" He said happily as he flew in the air.

"Be good and you wont be turned back into one after!" Shire warned.

Kyo paused in the air, falling a bit. "Y..you mean I could turn back into..into a doll!" He gasped. "NOOO!!!!" He scremed, flying over to Hana. He glomped her arm. "I'll be good, promise! Don't make me like that! It's lonely and sad!" He murmered, "Speacially when people forget about you after there grown and gone."

Hana smiled sadly down at Kyo, before picking him off her arm and hugging him close. "I won't forget about you Kyo. I never could." She whispered softly. Kyo smiled up at her, "Really?" He asked. Hana laughed and smiled, "Really."

Shire smiled at this and poked Kyo.
"Not everyone forgets about their dolls. I still havnt forgotten about Sage," He said.

"That's because your weird." Said Kyo, but he laughed and floated around the two. Hana shook her head, "Don't call the kettle black my little pot." She said, causing Kyo to look at her oddly. "I'm not a pot." He said, making Hana burst into giggles.

"Or are you?" Shire asked.
He chuckled and poked Kyo's side.
