Title: Hade's Walk

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
The cliffs were high and steep. Rocks jutted out like pikes ready to impale someone's body on the. Many skeletons were scattered below the rocks and dead walkers kept watch over the void known as Hade's Walk.

Above the rocks and dead walkers, was a chained figure. This could be seen as normal except there was no ground underneith the figure. The chains were a silver and black steel. Each time the figure would struggle, they would tighten.

Voices of the dead calling out, tempting the figure to look down. To look at the fate that awaited them as well should they disobey the master of this hell.

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 12:39 AM (GMT)
Lia, dispite the pain that ran through her, struggled against the chains. They tightened and rubbed her wrists raw. She sniffled, wishing there was ground to lean upon or a wall or something, instead of hanging there. She could see, somewhat below her, her pack, but it was ruined. A tattered peice of cloth on the rocks below.

She sniffed again anf finally stop struggling, glad at the chains that loosend slightly. "I fell and this is what I get? Talk about shitheads. All I did was fall on teh chains and they imprison me. Cruel, that's what it is. Plain and simple." She said as she looked out to the world in front of her.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 12:53 AM (GMT)
'That is how most of them are." A man's voice said. Pluto appered floating before Lia. "You are lucky they havn't let you fall already."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
Lia paused, her normally pale face drained of what little color it had. "Thanks for that oh-so wonderous image. But...I can fly. I think I could save myself...unless they'd stop that from happening." She said, looking at the man in front of her. After a few moments, she sighed. "But al I did was trip and fall. It was an accident." She murmered.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
"Yes they would stop you from flying. Chronos could have warped if they had let his powers out but look at him now." Pluto said as a clear, solid landing appered under Lia's feet. The chains forced Lia to go to her knees. "At least your wrists won't break now."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 01:05 AM (GMT)
Lia sighed, "Thank you! Thank you whoever you are!" She said, slighlty happier. The pain on her wrists were beginning to get stronger and stronger. Thankfully, she could ignore pain. She looked down a bit, then back up. "Um..Who are you by the way?" She asked pleasently.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
"Pluto, judge of the dead and of spirits." He said nodding his head a little. "And friend of Chronos. He asked me to come and see if you were still alive...."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 01:16 AM (GMT)
Lia couldn't help but smile a little as he said that. "Wow, he has sooo much faith in me...well...he just met me. Why was he all...curious and the like? Wasn't his fault I tripped and fell." Said Lia as she tried to get at least a little comfortable. It didn't work.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 01:19 AM (GMT)
"He is getting a major guilt trip from some of the higher ups." Pluto sighed as he stood on one of the pikes. "It's not his fault nor your's but they are still pissed at him for 'changing' the time line when he was protecting it."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 01:42 AM (GMT)
"Oh. So he changed the time line?" ASked Lia, "Is that even possible. I mean. I heard rumors and such, but always thought they were that, rumors." She said as she sighed sadly. "It's not his fault. They shouldn't be making him feel guilty." She muttered angrily.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
"Yes it is possible and very dangerous to do so." Pluto said dead serious. "They dont' care. If they can cause him more pain and suffering they will."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 01:50 AM (GMT)
Lia's mouth dropped, "That's outrages!!! Causing more pain and suffering fixes nothing. I can understand them wanting to punish him, but adding more pain and stress! That..thats!" She said, before she fell into an angry silence.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 02:02 AM (GMT)
"The way gods play." Pluto said as he watched Lia. "Many don't care and since Chronos is immortal with or without his powers, they have no worry about killing him. Only his master can end his life."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 02:05 AM (GMT)
Lia looked at the ground, her anger had subsided into sadness. "It's still not fair. I mean, maybe he altered the time line for a reason. Maybe the time line needed to be altered." She mumbled, " And my nose itches..." She said softly, a light blush covering her features.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 02:11 AM (GMT)
Pluto laughed a little. "He was correcting what someone else did. He was blamed for the whole thing though. Someone is playing the gods and he is one of the ones paying for it."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 02:14 AM (GMT)
"Well that's crappy. What happened to innocent until proven guilty." Said Lia angrily. "I mean, wouldn't they know that someone altered the time lines. WOuldn't they have been able to see it. I mean, they ARE gods." Pointed out Lia in a matter-of-factly way.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 02:23 AM (GMT)
"They may be gods but even gods can be lead blindly." Pluto countered. "Gods are not perfect as most believe." He huffed that part out. "And those that alter the time line can alter their prespective as well. THe only one's unaffected by it are the time gods and they are not trusted."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 02:24 AM (GMT)
Lia blinked, "why? I mean, if they know time better than anyone, wouldn't they be the most trust worthy?" She asked, curious now.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
"They can't reveal the time line though. They are to remain neutral and impartial to the events that take place. They may know what is going on but they can't reveal anything." Pluto said sighing. "What Chronos did was compleatly forbidden even if it was to set the line right again. The other time gods agreed with the actions and Chronos said he'd take the punishment so none of them would be pointed out. His master is being punished as well....well he will be when they find him."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 02:31 AM (GMT)
Lia couldn't help but let a small smile flicker across her face for a moment, "And thus, hiding prevails. Either that or he's in plain site and no one has noticed yet..." She said softly. She moved her arm a bit to streach, but made the chains tighten again, making her wince. "Ouch..." she mumbled.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
"Knowing his master, it's the second." Pluto said chuckling a little. "But then again, he may be hiding. It's hard to tell with that odd god."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 02:58 AM (GMT)
Lia laughed, "Odd god!" She said happily, "Sorry, ryhming words make me laugh. There just funny." She said, smiling. Her smile faded after a bit, "So...when do you think they'll let me go as in, not death? If ever?" She asked softly.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 03:05 AM (GMT)
Pluto shrugged. "No idea." he said honestly. "It all depends on what Chronos's punishment is. They are still debating. Rumors have been leaked that his powers will be taken from him for some time though."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
Lia sighed, "that's not fair. He was only doing what he thought right." She said softly as she shifted lightly as her knees were falling asleep. "I hate this. It's too...eerie. Though, knowing how cruel they are I guess it could be worse." Said Lia, smiling widly.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 03:12 AM (GMT)
"I would go into detail about how much worse they could be but you may pass out just after the first one." Pluto said smirking as he looked down at some of the bones littered underneith them. "And that is being kind...."

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 03:14 AM (GMT)
"Your soooo demented." Said Lia, staring at him with one eyebrow raised, she sighed and looked at the ground in a defeated like look. "If this is what they do to someone who did something by an accident, I'd hate to see what they would do to someone who did something on purpose." She said, shivering in the light cold.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 03:17 AM (GMT)
"Eternal life." Pluto said sighing. "It's the worse curse that could be placed on anyone. Everyone seeks it but what happens when you can constently be tormented by seeing the ones you love die before your eyes when you never age or become wounded?"

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 03:23 AM (GMT)
"That's...kinda messed up." Said Lia blinking. "But I can see your reasoning and it proves to freak me out again." She said calmly as she yawned.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 03:25 AM (GMT)
"I'm glad." Pluto said chuckling again. "I will bring food later and some drink. Sleep now. Or the chains will put you to sleep if you start to become to weak." he warned.

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
Lia looked hesitant, before she nodded. "A...alright." She said softly, "though I doubt I'll sleep very well in these chains and what not." She said as she shifted around into a semi-comfortable position. "Thanks for the company. I really appreaciate it." She said smiling as she closed her eyes and tried to get some rest.

Atela Hoshi - September 21, 2007 03:40 AM (GMT)
"you are welcome." Pluto said before disappering to get some food for Lia.

Ari Neko - September 21, 2007 03:42 AM (GMT)
Lia sighed in her sleep, the chains had slackened enough for her to curl up into a ball on teh ground. Had she been awake at the time she would have jumped for joy....or feared moving in cast the chains tightening again. She pushed down her skirt, which was riding up her leg and mumbled something in her sleep before rolling over.

Atela Hoshi - October 10, 2007 01:43 AM (GMT)
Screams were heard as many of the demons that took care of the walk ran from their stations. An undead dragon had been spotted heading that way.

Pluto looked around, still guarding (unofficialy) Lia. "That is odd. Undead dragons don't appere unless they are summoned...." he said taking out his weapons.

Ari Neko - October 10, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
Lia blinked tiredly and shifter herself so she was sitting up. She wipped her tired pale red eyes out of sleepiness and yawned. "What's this about an Undead dragon?" She asked, her voice light and airy.

Atela Hoshi - October 10, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
"The alarm is going off that one is coming this way." Pluto said as he tried to get a grasp on where it was. "And I can't find it...."

Emoot landed at the begining of Hade's walk and started to walk along it. Demons were doging out of it's way and even some demi-gods were scared of the creature. Many knew who and what he was and that scared the hell out of them even more.

Ari Neko - October 10, 2007 01:51 AM (GMT)
"Oh! Well, that's cool. What's this got to do with anything?" Lia asked, both confused and tired. She hadn't slept much and when she did sleep she was jutted out of it pretty quickly. Like no for instance.

Atela Hoshi - October 10, 2007 01:56 AM (GMT)
Pluto turned and looked at Lia. "He is a something of a...." He stopped a moment to think. "He's a destorier. Or executioner if you would."

Emoot was laughing to himself as he kept his powers in check. It would be so easy for him to destroy this place. So easy for him to absorb the souls of the demons that lived here. "No...I have work to do for my Masters." he said to himself as he made his way closer to Lia's prison.

Ari Neko - October 10, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)
Lia eeped and slightly jumped back, but stopped when her chains tightened. "Ack." She said, then sighed when they loosened. "Why...why is he here? Not for me, right? I...I didn't do anything wrong." She whispered. "Unless you count me falling on those chains in the desert."

Atela Hoshi - October 10, 2007 02:02 AM (GMT)
"I don't know why he's here." Pluto said confused. "Last I heard, he was in the desert chained in the last city he destroied...."

Emoot was watching with amuse ment as the soul judge flew around looking for him. "I'm right here." the demon said as he flew up to show himself to the two.

"He's bigger...than.....I was told......" Pluto said gluping a little as he looked at Emoot.

Ari Neko - October 10, 2007 02:04 AM (GMT)
Lia looked up at the dragon, her eyes looking both sadly and in awe at the beast in front of her. In all honesty, she was too tired to feel fear. "You...are right. He is pretty...big." She said softly.
