Vincent stood at the peak of the mountain,staring at the land stretching away from the mountain.Birds were slowly flying off below and a slight mist was around him.Vincent took in a deep breath and sat down in the soft snow,thinking.

A young woman with blonde hair set in two buns Vincent as he sat in the snow. She wore the symbol of Rome on a dark blue cloak. Her eyes were a strange blue with six red stripes in them. "Escuse me, are you Vincent?" she asked gently as she played with a scroll in her hand.

"Who wants to know?"Vincent asked.
He glanced at the woman out of the corner of his eye,looking back at the landscape.

The woman gave a small bow. "The Emperor of Rome asked that I deliever a message from his mother, Lady Kauket, that was addressed to an old friend of her's."

"Well then,I am Vincent.Is she alright?"Vincent asked,looking at her.

The woman cast her eyes down to the snow so Vincent couldn't see the tears that wanted to fall at the question. "I'm afriad she has fallen to the Widow's song..." She said in a slightly choked voice. "The Emperor appoligizes for not being able to come himself. He's been busy trying to get Rome back in order."

Vincent was silent,staring at her.A long moment passed and he looked down.
"Please tell her son I am sorry and hopes she will wake up soon."He said.
Vincent held his head slightly,staring at the woman.
"What is your name?"

"We all hope she wakes soon. I will deliver your message Lord Garion." she said softly. "I am Catlina. One of the healers at the castle."

"It is nice to meet you.Also,tell him that if there is anyhting I could do,to let me know."Vincent said,looking back at the landscape.

"Pleasure to meet you as well." Catlina said. "She did want you to have this...I'm not sure why but Lord Garion said it was in a package he recieved after she fell to sleep. His instructions were to make sure you got this spell scroll. That you would understand it better than anyone else." She held the scroll out for him to take.

Vincent took the scroll and stared at it.
"Thank you."He said.

"I am sorry for delivering such news to you." Catlina said bowing again. She turned and started back towards Rome.

"It is alright.Thanks again."Vincent sighed.
He twitched slightly and looked up,staring back at the landscape,fiddling with the scroll.

A voice sounded from under the snow after Catlina left. "Your son is a pain in the ass, Vincent." the voice was muffled by the snow. "Why betroth him to that pain in the ass?"

((LOL Sorry. I wasn't sure how to introduce Dusk so he is hiding under the snow...))

"Becouse he hates her.And she is rich.My buisness was going down due to weapon problems and made a deal with her father.Though I am quite sure that even though they are getting married,she is going to die where she stands when she steps foot on the hideout."Vincent shrugged.

"Sounds like ya Vincent." the voice said with a dark chuckle. A pile of snow began to shake and fly everywhere. A young looking man with blonde hair and odd colored eyes looked at Vincent. "Long time no see. Too bad to hear about Kauket though." he said frowning. "Is that why you asked me here?"

Vincent shook his head no and looked at him.
"No.....wait...when did I ask you here?"He asked,thinking he was losing his mind.

The man chuckled. "I'm not surprised you don't remember me but I did recieve a letter from you...or maybe one in your organization." the man said sitting on a pile of snow. "Damn...still not cold enough." He pouted.

"I still remember you Dusk,just dont remember sending a letter.You know....if your looking for cold,try space."Vincent chuckled,"Anything interesting happen lately?"

Dusk scratched his head. "Then I've got no clue what's going on with it. Oh well." He said shrugging. "And space would be fun...just no one to send me there." Dusk sighed. He settled against a snow pile. "Not much has beeng going on. Kauket's son is looking for me and I'm not ready to face him or what he wants me to do so I've been hiding out."

"Fun.My son's wedding is coming up,wanna come?"Vincent asked,"I think someone is going to blow up the bride."

Dusk raised an eye brow at Vincent. "I may kill the groom if you aren't careful." He said seriously. "But seeing her blown up should be fun." He said smirking evily. "As long as I get hurt I don't care."

Vincent only shrugged.
"You know....its kinda sad that I dont like him as a son.He is merely an allie to me."He said.
Vincent looked at the landscape and turned back to Dusk.

Dusk looked at Vincent before he chuckled. "So I may be able to have some fun after all?" He asked casualy his eyes dark with anticipation. "I'd be happy to attend."

"Glad to hear it."Vincent smiled,"I wonder what has happened to everyone else,from back then."

Dusk thought a moment and smiled as he thought about some of their allies. "Well I know that the two damned dwarves are in disguise in my brother's army spying for Rome." He said with humor. "As for Junko..." he frowned deeply. "She died recently. Got too cocky and Estrella killed her." He looked to the sky. "Do you remember Yue?"

Vincent nodded.
"Yep.ehat happened with him?"He asked.

Dusk gave a small... strange grin. "Well he's been watching Diablo's son... they were an item for awhile." His grin turned a bit dark. "Yue's out to kill Toru. Seems Diablo's blood taint is darker than mine ever was. I've never seen that angel so bound to see someone's blood run. Yue watches over the Roman castle making sure Toru isn't able to get a hold in there."

"Wow,someone has been buisy."Vincent chuckled,"Do you remember Zane?"
He sat back slightly,smiling.

Dusk gave a thoughtful look. "Yes... I think I do remember him." He said nodding finally.

"He lived through two dozn spikes going through his body and being thrown in salt water when he was unconcious.That you dont see everyday."Vincent said.

Dusk thought about that and then pouted. "That sounds like fun." He said kicking some snow. "But you are right. The odds of someone surviving that is very very low." He said turning serious again.

Vincent shook his head and looked up at the sky.
"I hope she will wake up soon.No fun if there is barely anyone left to talk to,ya know?"He said.

Dusk nodded looking at the sky as well. "Yeah....I'm just hoping she does wake up. I don't care when...just that she does." He said softly. "I know my brother too well. He'll prevent it if he can."

"Most likely.Hey,has hefound a girlfriend yet or is he still drooling over her?"Vincent asked.

Dusk laughed at Vincent's comment. "Well yes he found a girlfriend but that doesn't mean that he's stopped drooling over our Kauket." He said smirking. "He is still obsessed with her and hunts her even as she sleeps." He looked towards the direction of the desert. "I think he's going to be in for a surprise when all comes together."

"Oh,this will be so much fun.Actually...I'm suprised he actually found a girlfriend.Anyway,think there is any chance that we could scare him?"Viincent asked,grinning

"I'm not going anywhere near him unless I absolutly have to." Dusk said seriously. "I just got out of that damned prison he trapped me in for the last 1500 years." He crossed his arms smirking though. "But you never know who might want to help you with that. You remember the desert thieves?"

"Yeah.Been awhile since Ive seen them."Vincent chuckled,"But I feel sorry for you.GEtting beat by your younger brother."

Dusk casualy flipped off Vincent. "Not my fault the ass found out where I was." He growled a little. "But they may be able to help you torment him. The new Aladdin they've got seems to be an intersting human."
