Councilers and guards were already filing into the room. Several civilians were also there to make statments against Susan.

Susan was drug into the room and placed in the defendant's box. Her eyes fell on Westra, Deas and.....Toru. The elf priest smirked and vanished before any could say a word about him being there.

"Settle down." The judge called calling the trial to order. "Why is King Eric not present?"

"He did not wish to see this traitor's face." Deas said sneering at Susan who kept quite.

Outside the hall, there were several mages, guards and other's that supported Westra's group. They had orders to not even allow Eric entry to the room.

Eric walked up to the guards and stared.
"I'm here to watch."He said.
Nina stopped farther away and turned,looking for another entrance.

"I'm afraid we have orders to make sure you are kept safe and away from the traitor." the guards stated simply. They did not move for Eric or for even Bakura who is a counciler.

"Arrest them!" came a cry from behind them. Seto and Malik were running from several guards. "They are in league with the traitor!" Bakura was caught off guard as his hands were grabbed and he felt cuffs go on them.

"Same goes for you." A guard said.

Susan said nothing as several people made false testiments against her. The judge kept looking at her as she sat there her eyes closed and her jaw set. He could tell she was innocent but had no say because of the testimonies.

"Let them go,where is your proof!"Eric growled.
Nina ran back to her father and tackled a guard.
"GIVE IT BACK!"She yelled,"YOU STOLE IT!"

Bakura gave Eric a warning glance and shook his head. They could easily escape this with out any aid.

"Stole what?" The guard growled as he tried to get Nina off of him.

Susan bit her tongue as Westra presnted the letters she was suppose to have wrote. There was much talk among the jury. None had any clue what Deas and Westra were up to. They didnt' know that Susan was innocent. ~This is it...I'm going to be convicted and hung.~ She thought as the jury went to debate her fate.


((yeah I'm moving it along rather quickly.))

Nina stared at the door,jumping off him.
"Sorry,that was me!"She said,running through the door.
Eric shook his head and stared.
"Alright then."He sighed,crossing his arms.



Nina headed toward the judge,fiddling with her pockets to get the parchment she took from her father.

Susan had her eyes closed as the jury came back in. "And what is the verdict?" he said looking at the jury.

Deas and Westra both noticed Nina and nodded to a guard. The guard tried to get her out of there.

"We have our orders, Milord." One guard said only to have his helm knocked off. He turned to have Marik kick him in the face.

"They are about to find her guilty." He told Eric as the guards began to fight the councilers out there.

"WAIT I HAVE EVIDENCE FORM DIABLO HIMSELF!"Nina yelled,holding up the parchment.


Eric pulled out a knife and growled.
"You are so dead."He said,tackling a guard.

Susan's eyes went wide as she heard Nina's voice. ~Get out of here...go....~ She thought deperatly not saying a word as a couple of guards got behind the girl.

"Sir, if the Princess has "evidence" it is most likely planted on her by Susan herself." Westra argued. "She is just a child after all."

The guard started to fight with the king as others were still working on the council.

Hellsing sent a wave of energy at some of the mages as he, Mokuba and Xeno ran into the fight. Mokuba took up a sword and began to fight as well.

Hana doged almost all of the attack, punching and kicking a few gaurds who, sadly, got in her way. They dropped like flies. Smiling madly, she licked some blood off her fist. She jumped over a few bodies and pushed the door open, banging it against the walls making it echo across the courtroom.

"I am not a child >< Youre as bad as the guards and no! I took it from my dad's pocket! Susan had no in-plantiment so shut it!"Nina growled.





Eric growled,pinning the guard to the wall.
"Never mess with your king or an ex-murderer."He said,throwing him across the hall.

The door being thrown open shocked Susan and many that had no clue what was going on in the hall. Westra glared at Nina then Hana as did Deas. Wicked grins crossed their lips as they vanished from where they stood. Susan let out a yelp as she was pulled up from her seat by the hair. Westra and Deas looked at the two girls from behind Susan. Westra had a dagger pointed at Susan's chest as their forms changed. Two muntant demins stood there with eyes that glowed brightly. 'Westra' plunged the dagger into Susan's chest barely missing the heart. With laughter, they vanished from the council hall taking Susan with them. "By the time you find her and us, she will be dead." a voice echoed through the hall as several of the tratiors on the council and civilians started to charge Nina and Hana from their seats.

The judge and jury scrambled to get out of the way of the bloodshed. It had been made very clear, Susan was innocent. But who was behind all of this mess still?

The fighting in the hall only increased. Several guards were dead or dying. Those that were fighting along side Eric were outnumbered but they were fighting hard against them.

Hellsing was having fun making a blood bath with some of the guards while Bakura was fighting in cuffs proving he didn't need his hands to fight. Marik and Malik were helping Mokuba gut some of the guards while Yusuke and Kurama had arrived to help with the fight after hearing about the trial in town.

Nostra was fighting against a set of guards with the help of Demos and Kiri, both were loyal to Eric. They were pissed off that Westra had teamed up with the traitors and were both plotting a horrible death for him when they got to him.

Seto's eyes went wide as he fell to his knee. He held his chest (the same spot Susan was stabbed in) and closed his eyes fighting off the pain that over came him. A guard was about to cut him down when Hiei killed them. Hiei kept Seto covered as the counciler over came the sudden pain. Growling, Seto sent a strong magic attack at any guards fighting against them. Several had little time to scream before they fell to the ground as burnt skeletons.

An alarm bell was going off by the dungeons. "MILORD!" A guard yelled coughing up blood a she got to Eric. "Someone released the demins."

Hana looked in shock as she watched her aunt, her only trustful family besides her sister, get stabbed to close to the heart for comfort. Soon, anger flooded her head, and imense anger that made her eyes glint dangerously, and her fands slide from her gums. Her claws lengthened and she laughed manically(sp).

"I'm gonna tear you apart!" She yelled, starting to take her anger and bloodlust out on all that charged. Claws racked through flesh and bone, spraying blood on her face and walls. She growled angrily and flicked blood of her claws. Part of her was grossed out and part of her loved this.

She used her claws as her weapons, every now and then, biting with her sharp fangs. All the blood around her seemed to make her bloodlust stronger, and oh how she loved this. Flecks of blood coated her outfit and face. Her hands dripped with the lush red liquid. She turned to the remaining traitors, a grin spread across her face, "Oh yes, isn't this just so much fun." She said as she rushed at them.

Nina growled and pulled out a dagger,cutting at a guard.
"Back off!"She yelled as she plunged the dagger into a man's ankle.
Nina jumped back,backing into a counciler.


Eric looked at him,glaring.
"Damnit."He growled,backing up.
Eric swung around,plunging the blade into a man's chest.He felt blood pour slowly from the wound and pulled out the crimson blade.

The counciler Nina bumped into was Themor. "Go one, Princess." He said sending a wave of magic at the guards attacking. "These good for nothings aren't going to harm you." He said as Reglar attacked some of the old council men.

Hellsing smirked as he saw Hana's destruction. Several of the guards were still attaking the girl and not caring about the blood spilt.

"That is really bad." Seto said as he raised a shield to block some mage attacks. "So we know Diablo has a hand in this. But who else?"

"May not be Diablo." Marik countered.

"It may be Toru." Malik agreed as the twins killed several more guards.

"What blood shed...." Xeno said backing up as her arm was cut.

"HAH! Too slow!" Yelled Hana as her hand went through the guys neck, blood squirted onto her face, giving her a more evil sadistic appearance. She licked some blood off her hand, looking somewhat innocent, before kicking an un-suspecting gaurd, hard, in the chest. He fell like a stone, choking and sputtering. She ending his life with a smiple flick of a wrist, sending his head off and more blood caked to the wall.

"Ok."Nina smiled weakly,running to go find Eric.
She weaved through people,cutting their ankles if they tried to get her,making it hard for them to walk.Nina raced out the door and grabbed hold of Eric's leg.
"Nina,I want you to do me a favor and hide.Hurry."Eric said.
"Alright."Nina nodded,running down the hall.
She turned a corner and was out of site.Eric jumped back and lashed out at a guard,slicing his chest.
"How many pathetic losers are there?"He asked.

Seto, Marik and Malik all were back to back as they looked at the group surrounding them. "Got it." Marik said as he noticed Seto start to raise his hands making signals.

Marik and Malik started to send their energies to Seto letting him use theirs as well. Kurama and Hiei sent energy to Yusuke as the demon started to send a massive attack of his own.

"Milord, take cover." Nostra said as he, Demos and Kiri raced over sending a shield up as well. Bakura and Mokuba took cover with Reglar and Themor.

"Hana, over here now." Hellsing said as he looked at the young vampire. His voice made it clear it wasn't an option to disobey.

Hana paused, hesitant for a moment, before running over to where Hellsing and the others were. She had a wide grin on her face making her look like a kid in a cady store. She said nothing, but her eyes hovered over all the blood and the dead adn dying victoms of her claws.

Eric jumped back agenst the wall,throwing down a small,red ball.It exploded,smoke rising and creating a crimson sheild.

Seto and Yusuke let out their attacks. Seto's incenerated any that were against Eric and demon. Yusuke's destroied any that were against Eric and Human. The attacks caused a blinding light to go through out the castle and city.

It was several minuets before the light cleared. Seto was supported by Mokuba while Bakura was holding Yusuke up. Blood stained the floor but the bodies were nothing but ash.

Hana blinked, hissing at the bright light. "Someone could have warned me..." SHe mumbled, rubbing her eyes with a semi-blood free hand. Her eyes took a calmer red, and she looked around the place. SHe felt some guilt, but mostly adreniline.(sp) Then she looked down at herself and wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Wow...I need bath..." She muttered, then looked sadly at Hellsing. "I wonder if Susan...is gonna be alright." She whispered, more to herself than the vampire.

Eric twitched,rubbing his eyes.He looked down at the blood and ashes and twitched uneasily.
"I'll be right back."He said,running off to find Nina.

"I hope so too...." Hellsing said looking at Seto as Mokuba helped the counciler back to their chambers. Bakura took Yusuke to his as some of the others began to clean up.

Nostra took off after Eric. He, too, wanted to see if Nina was ok. He had been worried for her.

Hana looked sadly around the area, then sighed, "I'm...gonna go for a walk. Sort things out and what not. A....a lot has happened the past few days." She said, "And I want to get cleaned up as well. I'll see you around Helling-sama." Said Hana bowing somewhat. She turned on her heel and preceded(sp) out of the council Hall. 'The woods sound nice. I'll most likely be alone there.' she thought to herself. 'I'll go there after a shower.'

Since Susan's death, everyone had seen a great change in Seto's actions. Yes he was already cold and power hungry and kept to himself most of the time but he always showed concern towards those loyal to the country. Now a days, he was much colder and his motives had become darker and less caring.

Bakura had always stood against Seto on the matters of slavery and some other small matters. Never had the two went against eachother over such matters as they were now. Marik said that it was Susan's death that split the party up. That she was the only one holding them together even if it was by thin strings.

It was a week after Eric's funeral and the council was in session. The only ones not persent were Kurama and Ryou. Kurama was taking care of personal business in Rein while Ryou was in the midst of moving his brother's people to safer areas. Making sure the barriers were raised and that they would have a proper defence if and when Seto and the other councilers declared war on Rome.

"You son of a bitch!" Bakura grolwed loudly as he glared at Seto across the way. "You realize you are one of the reasons she is attacking my people! And that you should have never taken her as a slave to begin with!"

"She was sold to me on the pretence that she was nothing more than a comoner!" Seto growled back as he glared right back at Seto.

"You both should have known better than to accept a slave that was of Roman blood!" Another counciler said standing. "Now we have to worry about our own princess who is in her company!"

"How do we know she isn't already dead or worse!?" Another called out.

"She shouldn't even be our princess anyway!" Yusuke said as he stood. His eyes were narrowed as he looked at the councilers. Out of all of them, there were five who were against Andorra taking the throne. And all had good reasons. "She has been trained to be a slave and take orders! That is not how a queen should run a country! She should have her own will in the matters of state!" He growled out as several protests rang out.

"She has her own free will." a female counciler said standing. Yusuke's eyes narrowed even more. Bakura's did as well. "She has every right to protest our opinions it's just she has no reason to. She is still too young to understand the way Asa should be run after all."

"Counciler Mave, how can you speak on such a matter when you, yourself, have tried to control your own niece's path in life?" Bakura asked causing Nika, Mira and Cassie to look at the female conciler as well.

"My niece has no reason to even contradict me!" Mave said her eyes narrowing at Bakura. "She needs all the help she can get yet she pushes me away. All I ever wanted was to protect her from the way of life she has choisen. Her poor misguided brother pushed her down that path after all."

Before Bakura could protest, Nika stood. Many held their breath as they watched the still injured counciler. Her eyes were deeply narrowed at Mave. "Her brother has done more for the relations between Asa and Rome than you ever have." She stated calmly. "Lord Kero has tried his best through the use of his family's guilds to keep a slim peace between Asa and Rome. He had no aid from Susan as many of you think. He was the one that helped with the Roman and Asan trading posts. How dare you say he was misguided!" She said slaming her already injured hand on the rail before her.

Many whispered at this out burst. Even Yusuke and Bakura looked at Nika with astonishment. No one knew of Nika's conections to the hunter's guilds. She had kept it secret even from her older two sisters. It was nessecary in her opinion. She didn't want them to be in any danger from her personal actions.

As the council ended for now, a guard that was inside the hall snuck off to send his report to Kero who was on his way back to Asa from Rome. Something ceritanly wasn't right in the council. If Nika was siding with Yusuke and Bakura, something big was about to happen. And with Kero and Heather's aunt on the council now, things were about to change for the worst.
