The three men with Hana appered deep within one of the labrinth rooms. "Well this is it. Her cell for awhile." One said smirking as he sat the girl down roughly on the makeshift bed.

"Yes now let's go. Lord Westra paid us good for this and he will want to spend time alone with the girl." another said.

The third smirked at the girl's body. "So much fun this is. She didn't put up much of a fight either." the three vanished again, leaving Hana alone.

The black and blue butterfly Nostra had given her flew out from his hiding place and looked around the area sending an image back to his master.

Hana curled up into a ball. A vain attempt at dulling the pain. Wearily, she opened her eyes and looked around, not that there was much to see. 'Where am I...' she thought to herself as she pushed herself up into a sitting position. The pain had ebbed and dulled, both a good and a bad thing as it made her uneasy.

The butterfly flew over to Hana landing on her nose before flying to her hair. There were sounds of spirits and the undead walking around beyond the room.

Eyes watched Hana from a secret passage not wanting to approach her yet. ~We will see how Susan deals with this ace card.~ Westra thought before he vanished back to the castle insearch of the elf.

"Why you here?" a voice asked.

Hana allowed a small smile, 'At least I'm not alone here...where ever here is.' she said with a sigh. She looked around when she suddenly heard a voice. Not sure wether or not it was speaking to her, she paused, "I don't know why I am here." She said in all honesty.

A small grunt came as a strange looking creature lit a small candle. "Who you?" it asked. It looked like a cross between a rabbit, cat and rat. It was just a freaky looking thing.

Hana blinked, shocked at what the creature looked like. It was a good 5 minutes before she found her voice again, "I'm Hana. Who are you?" She asked. It was a curious looking creature, but also seemed to hold a lot of hate.

"Me called Gesh." it replied still trying to figure out why a top dweller was down here. "Too many of yous find ways downs heres." it said with a huff.

Hana sighed, "I didn't really come down here y choice." She said softly, "Someone, I couldn't tell, took me and brought me down here while I was in too much pain to fight back." She looked around the crypt and was able to sum it up in a few simple words. Dark, dank and scary. She shivered.

"Master no like peoples comings here." Gesh said shaking head. "Too much secrets. Follow Gesh. Gesh show you to master." he said starting towards a hidden path.

Hana hesitated for a second. 'Could this "Master" of his be able to get me out of here?' she thought to herself, before shaking her head and following Gesh down the path. "Gesh, who is your master?" She asked, curious.

Gesh smiled..which was even creepier than his looks. "Master is warlock. He knows much magics and much abouts you top siders." Gesh said not really saying who his master was. "Follows. Follows." He said moving a little quicker.

As they came to another opening, a man with the robes of the Asan council sat in a marble and granite room. Once they passed over the threshold, the path behind them closed. Deep, blood red eyes looked up from the book they were reading over. "This is quite a surprise." Hellsing said though his voice showed no emotion nor his eyes.

Hana gulped and backed up into the wall. 'Why did I have to run into this guy! Now of all times!!' she thought as she looked around the room. She gulped again and decided to speak, "Y...yes I guess it is. W...what am..I doing here?" She asked, hoping and dreading the answer to that question would be answered soon.

"I was going to ask you the same." Hellsing said standing as his eyes went to a duller red. "Gesh, did you find the intruders?" He asked.

"Nos Master. Justs her. Shes nices. Doesn't scream ats Gesh." Gesh said as he hopped out of the room.

Hellsing offered Hana a seat. "I'm sorry. It seems the intruders have brought you here." He said in a kind voice. With his apperance, no one would actualy expect Hellsing to be a kind man. Susan knew other wise and trusted him greatly. "How did you get here?" He asked curiously.

"I'm not sure. I was in a lot of pain and people in black cloaks came. I passed out soon after and woke up here." She said in a soft voice. She too, would like to know why she was here. "I..I heard them say a name though. I think... I think they said Westra...or something." She said, racking her brain for information.

She suddenly felt very dizzy and the pain in her stomach, which a dulled and gone away, came back full force, if not worse. She screamed in pain and fell to her knees, hugging herself. She breathed heavily, her eye site wavered a bit, before she was able to see and the moment of pain passed.

Hellsing was right at Hana's side. "What is wrong?" He asked concerned as he knelt by her side. He was careful not to get too close but he could feel the child in her. "It is dying." He said softly.

Hana closed her eyes, stopping the tears that threatened to fall. 'Sure, it's his kid, but...but it is innocent. It's doesn't diserve(sp) this.' She thought as the pain worsened "No..." She whispered, "It..it is innocent." A cry of pain came from her lips, blood blossomed from between her legs.

Hellsing picked her up and took her over to a bed that he formed. "Your body is too weak to keep it alive. And the strees you've been under especialy with this mess, your body is rejecting it." he said as gently as he could. "Damn... I need Xeno here but it will take too long." he said sighing as he took his robe off and placed it under Hana's head.

Hana cried out in pain again, the pain seemed to ebb one moment, then return far worse than the last. "No..." SHe whispered, the pain was intense and dispite what she had thought, she didn't want to lose the baby. It, unlike the one who fathered it, was innocent. She cried out in pain again, sweat drenched her, making her hair stick to her forehead.

Hellsing was growing paler as he smelled the blood flow. He closed his eyes to fight off his vampiric hunger and focus on the situation at hand. He went to work gathering supplies. Hot water to clean the blood. Cold water to wipe down Hana's brow. Other items to help with whatever was about to come. He placed his hand on her stomach. ~Fever...already. And an infection it seems is going to set in.~ he thought to himself saying nothing aloud. He placed a cold cloth on Hana's forhead and began to strip the clothes from her lower body. "Forgive me for this but it has to be done." he appoligized.

Hana couldn't or wouldn't hear him. She was far too lost in the pain and anger, as well as misery. Another shot of pain ripped through her body making her scream in agony. Slowly her eyes closed and her screams lessoned. "If...if you can, save him. please." She whimpered as another series of pain and screams came. She clutched her sides tightly, as though that alone would save the innocent child.

Hellsing's eyes narrowed before focusing again. ~Not good. Not good at all.~ Kept running through his mind as he removed the soiled clothes and spread her legs apart to try and help. He would save Hana's life but the child's...he wasn't sure if it could be. He kept his energy levels even as he worked.

Hana's breath was ragged, her whole body shuddered with pain. Her eyes, hollow and vacant, stared up at the ceiling. A few moments later, she screamed. The pain, if possible at this point, seemed to reach a whole new level and a voice echoed through her mind sounding almost, no it was, Ethans. 'A child born of magic and death always, if succesful, kills the mother. I hope you like hell bitch.'

She screamed again, her eyes watering in pain. Finally, her body fell limp, her breaths even and somewhat calm. Her eyes, stilll open, looked hallowed and lifeless and if it weren't for her chest rising and falling with breath, one would asume she was dead.

Hellsing was use to screams. He had heard many die at his own hand screaming with their last breath. He was careful as he cut across Hana's stomach, his magic dulling any pain he was causing her. He took out the lifeless body of the child with in her. He sighed inwardly as he wrapped it in a cloth beside him. He cleared out all the damage the child had caused to Hana's body. Hellsing made sure everything was taken care off, that nothing was left to cause any more damage than what had already been caused.

Hellsing took the child's body and placed it on a table near by, then returned to finish cleaning up Hana and the bed.

**In Hana's mind**

Hana looked around, the world around her was black. Not that starry night black or that nice black found in T-shirts and the like, but an unable to see anything, not even you hand blackness. SHe knew she was asleep, she could sorta feel her heartbeat, but even here, she was tired. Slowly, her body fell back, hovering, in the nothingness and her eyes closed.

She smiled. She felt no pain here and sleep came as a blessing. Yes, she'd sleep for now and wake when she was better. For now, sleep was all that she wanted.

Hellsing finished cleaning Hana's body and changed the bed entirely. It was much like the one in her room. He went over and placed the child's body in a small casket and placed it in a rift. ~When she is better...she will have to handle this.~ the vampire thought as he sat back down.

Hellsing waited until some of the commition had settled down before he left Hana alone. it was sometime later he returned with a blindfolded Xeno.

"What the hell." she said going over to Hana's body. She was quick to start taking care of the wounds and the fever. Keeping the infection from spreading even more. Hellsing had only been able to slow it. It was a few hours before Hana's body began to regenerate the blood lost. The color began to come back to her skin and her breathing was steadier. "That should do it for now." Xeno said sighing.

Hana looked at the light, it was bright and she didn't like it. SHe didn't want to wake, not yet. 'Maybe later, I'm still so tired.' she thought as she stared or rather glared at the light that dare flood her sub-con...the place where she slept in her mind.

She turned away from it, looking down into the nothingness and even though her eyes were closed, the light still seem to blind her. She whimpered, knowing she would wake soon. 'I don't want to. I'm afraid of what I'll find...'

Xeno looked at Hellsing with a dark glare. "What the hell is she doing down here?" She demanded.

"I dont' know." Hellsing said. "All I know is that Gesh brought her here." He said shrugging. "Be glad she is still an elf..." he said with a mutter. Xeno shivered about that.

"Susan is going to be upset if Hana doesn't get well soon." Xeno said sadly. Hellsing said nothing as they waited for Hana to wake.

Hana sighed, knowing that no matter how hard she fought, she would wake. So, to prevent some pain, she alloud herself to wake

Hana's eyes fluttered, a small moan ecaped her lips. SHe slowly opened her eyes, only to hiss and close them in pain. Sure, it was dim but the light burned her eyes. After a few moments, she opened her eyes more slowly and blinked.

Reliazation(sp) hit her hard. If she was still alive, then that meant that her baby, the innocent one out of all of them, had died. Tears welled up in her eyes and fell down her cheeks like little diamonds(sp) She wanted to curl up into a small little ball, but knew she couldn't and shouldn't "No...." She whispered.

Hellsing let Xeno handle Hana as he read over his reports. "Shhhhh." Xeno said softly saddly. "I know this is going to be hard on you." She said. She had lost her first child herself so she knew what Hana was going through.

"The child...." Hellsing said looking up after some silence. "He would have killed you if he had survived." he went back to his books. "Do you wish to see him?"

"He was innocent. A baby. I have lived a long while, he none. It wouldn't have mattered." She mumbled, drying her tears on her sleeve. She looked at Hellsing and found new feeling of deep respect for the vampire. "Y...yes. I would like to see him Please" She muttered as she sat up, wincing.

Hellsing stood and opened the rift he had created. He was careful as he took the child's body from it's resting place. "You can name him so he can rest properly." He told Hana softly as he brought the child over, the face uncovered.

Hana held the baby, it's hair was a soft brown, like Ethan's, but it's eyes...it had her eyes. She closed his eyes, and let out a choked sob as her tears fell upon the baby's cold lifeless face. "Katsuko." She said, clutching the boy. "His name was going to be Katsuko." She whispered, holding the baby as though it was a pricless doll. Her hands softly stroked the soft tuff of hair on it's head as she looked at Katsuko sadly.

Hellsing nodded as he watched. "What kind of funeral for him?" he asked. Xeno looked at him with some shock. Though she shouldn't have. He did the same when she lost Catlina's brother. It sounded cold and crule but it was the only way for Hana to move on. He would always be a part of Hana's life but only in her memories.

Hana remained silent for a time, her eyes closed. When she opened them, they harbored a deep sadness. "I'm not sure. I guess, just a regular burial, somewhere near a...a forest." She said shaking her head, "I'm, honestly, not sure. I've never done this before." She looked at baby Katsuko, a small smile forming on her face. "He would have been beautiful." She whispered softly.

Hellsing nodded with a gentle smile. "Yes he would have." He and Xeno waited until Hana was ready to let Katsuko go. Hellsing would take care of the funeral. And once Hana was strong enough, he would show her where the burial spot is.

Hana looked sadly at her baby boy. Hers. Thsoe words somehow, made everything seem a little more easy. He wasn't in pain and at least now, he would be with her own father, who would take good care of him. She smiled softly, before looking up at Hellsing and Xeno. "I...I think I'm ready to let go. I know where he is, he will be taken care of by my own father and mother. He would not...be alone. He will be happy." She said softly, looking back down at her baby boy, Katsuko.

Hellsing went over and held his arms out for Hana to hand the body to him. "He will watch over you and maybe in time, he will return to you." He said softly. Xeno tried not to cry.

"Damn you Hellsing. Why the hell do you have to be such a softie?" She said wiping her eyes. Hellsing chuckled a little as Gesh entered the room.

Hana handed Katsuko back to Hellsing, tears cascading down her face. She took in a deeo ragged breath, before calming herself down. "Hello Gesh." She said softy, trying to get back to her normal self. She knew it would take time and effort, but she was willing.

Hellsing took the body and went back to the rift, making it bigger and disappering into it. Xeno sighed as she looked at Hana. "It is hard." She said gently. "but you will get through it." She said. "I'll go get some food and tea." She left in a flash.

"Hellos. Yous oks?" Gesh asked Hana.
