Chronos stood there in his younger form. His cape was a soft green and silver. He waited for Seb to come for the locket. The time demon had other things to do but this was going to be intersting. He looked at the braclet the locket was on. He took out a diffrent chain and transfered the locket to it. "There...it won't break as easily now." He said as he finished ataching the locket.

Ethan waited at the bottom of the mountain. Even here, the snow reached up to his ankles and it was pretty cold. Hana lay next to a tree, her hands bound behind her and around said tree. She glowered at Ethan.

"Don't worry Princess Hana. Once you see what a great thing it will be to be my wife, you'll learn to love it." He said as he kissed her loveingly.

Hana glared and spat his shoes, "The only way you'll get me to love and idiot like you is if you were the last man on earth." She said. Ethan growled and slapped her, then changed her position so she was sitting on her knees in the snow, unable to get back up. Wearing shorts and very little warm clothing besides her top, Hana shivered.

"This'll teach you wench." He hissed back at her.

Drake walked down the path,seeing the two.He had a bundle in his hands.
"Hi.So,what kind of match?"He asked,walking toward them.

"Hmmm," Said Ethan as he, truly thought about it.

"DOn't hurt yourself thinking..." Hana muttered and got a Ethan kicked snow into her face and lap. Hana unable to really move, just glared at him.

"Anything goes. Any weapon or magic that pleases you." He said, "First one to say give, pass out or die, losses of course." He said as he walked a ways from Hana.

"Oh yeah, god forbid I get hurt. Freezing to Death, who cares!" She muttered as she tried, discreetly to use magic...only to get another kick of frigid snow at her.

"Thought that would happen."Drake said,walking over to Hana and unwrapping the bundle.
He put the blanket around her and brushed the snow off her.
"Alright then,but on one condition.No using or abusing Hana during this match."Drake said,taking his sword out and looking at Ethan.

Hana smiled as she felt immediat warmth, "Thank you." She said smilling.

Ethan looked at Drake, "Fine, fine. If that suites you." He said as he drew his sword. "I'lll let you make the first move."

"alright."Drake said,walking away from Hana.
He stood up straight,sword at his side.
"I moved."

Ethan stared at Drake, as though he was kidding, then shook his head. "Very well." He said. He threw 5 Kunai at Drake, 2 hit, but the others missed. "I like drawing out my battles." Said Ethan, "It means I have more fun."

"It also means you have more of a chance to slip up..." Muttered Hana.

"SIlence wench!" Shouted Ethan, about to throw a Kunai at her, but remembered the deal and put it away.

"Remember....use or hurt her n any way and you lose."Drake said,taking out the kunai and threw them at Ethan's legs.

Hana blinked, but stayed silent.

Ethan was able to quickly dodge the Kunai at the last second. Angry and clouded by such, he charged at Drake, sword drawn and chanting under his breath. Before he was able to strike however, he split into to three people or rather clones. The each circled Drake, not close enough to be harmed by his sword, but close enough that if the used a bow, he'd be seriusly hurt.

Hana blinked, her jaw dropped. "That's a forbidden spell! How'd you learn it!" She shouted and Ethan smiled, "I get what I want anyway I want. Your mother was easy to...heh...perswade(sp)." He said.

Hana looked sickly at him, "One word. Ew."

"No comment."Drake said,raising his sword.He brought it down,sending a wave of water and lightning around him.

Ethan smirked, he had placed barriers over his clones and himself. Although they took some damage, it was not enough for them to dissapear. Not yet anyway. Quickly, two of them charged, swords drawn, while the other pulled out a bow, strung it and aimed an arrow.

Hana fearfully watched the battle.

Drake charged at the two of them,sliding along the snow and lashing at their ankles.

Ethan grinned, the first clone took damage and dissapeared, but he was able to use it as a sheild and dodge. "Don't turn your back on the enemy boy." He sneered as he last anf final clone aimed and fired the bow, stright into Drake's back.

"DRAKE!" Hana screamed, struggling to get out of her holds.

Drale twitched slightly.He felt the arrow digging in between his shoulder blades.
"Ow."Drake mummbled,standing up,shakily.

Ethan grinned as he sheathed his sword. "I'm feeling a little...happy today, so you know what I'm going to do? I'm not gonna kill you, I"m gonna let you suffer in the cold. Out cold." He said as his clone notched another arrow, "Happy dreams boy." He sneered as the arrow flew, and it right beside the other arrow.


Hana looked speechless, "Drake. Drake!" She shouted, tears running down her face, "Drake!"

Drake fell to the ground,his eyes wide,twitching.

The clone dissapeared and Ethan smiled cruely down at Drake. "Commoners never win." He said, spitting on him. He walked over to Hana who was squirming. He cut off her ropes, picked her up and begain waling away. All the while, Hana screamed, kicked, bit, punched anything that she could do, to get away. "Drake! Drake! Get up! Please! Please get up!" She shouted as she struggled.

Ethan smiled as he headed to the forest.

Drake twitched again.He felt something digging his his chest,making it hard to breath.



~*An hour later*~


Drake sat up,shaking the snow out of his hair.
"What happened?"He mummbled.
Drake suddenly jumped to his feet,eyes wide.
"Hana?!"He yelled,running off to look for her.

Hana slid to a stop in the snow. Since she was an elf, and standing for that matter, she easily stayed aboive the snow. Which was good, considering it was most likly knee high. She pulled out her sword, her arrows on her back, then quickly got ready for the battle to come. 'I'll save my summons for later, when I really need them. For now, just plain magic and weapons.' she thought to herself, though, if Ethan started up with that clone spell again, she'd have to summon.

Ethan walked over to her. He too, stayed above the snow, pulling out his own sword, he smiled ruefully at her. "Hana, Hana, Hana. Always got to fight don't you?" He purred out.

Hana glared, but stayed silent. They were both waiting for someone to take the first move.

Drake halted to a stop high above them.He took aim with his bow and fired directly at Ethan.


Rose wasnt too far off,watching.

Ethan growled, barely dodging the arrow that was fired. "I thought you didn't care boy. I remember what you said, now leave!" He yelled as he dodged another attck, this time from Hana.

Both Hana and Ethan had sevral small injuries, but nobody seemed to be on the up side. Suddenly, Hana stopped. She stodd there with her head down.

"Given up have you?" Called Ethan, but Hana looked up, smiling.
"No." She said and whispered something so softly, it was hardly heard.

The wind, seemingly from nowhere, sliced over to him, he was barley able to make a barrier.

"No...I said I didnt care if you took Rose.No offence.I never said you could take Hana."Drake said,firing another arrow.

Ethan hissed in pain as an arrow imbedded itself deep into his left forearm. He glared up at Drake. "Leave us alone boy, this fight does not concern you!" He yelled, as he pulled the arrow out. Sadly, the arrow head stayed in.

Hana looked in shock, 'DAMMIT!! I OVER-REACTED AGAIN!!!!' she shouted in her mind. 'I've got to get better control on my emotions.' she sighed as she charged at Ethan. She faked a slice to his middle, only to roll on the ground, spring up and slice his back.

By now, Ethan was in a lot of pain and bleeding badly. Hid blood turning the pure white snow a deep crimson.

"If it concerns you taking Hana away then it does concern me!"Drake growled,firing another arrow,"Hey Hana....please dont kill him just yet!"

Hana nodded and backed off. She still held her sword, but was only using it to defend instead of attack.

By now, Ethan was a wreck. He had an arrow in his back, next to the slash and an arrow head in his arm. All in all, it wasn't good. 'I...won't....lose!' He thought charging at Hana.

Hana eeped and defended herself the best she could, only getting a slash on her arm, which she ignored for the moment.

Drake jumped down,pulling out his sword.
"What....afraid to fight some commoner?Kinda sad that you are only going after a girl."He said.


Rose rolled her eyes.
"Girls are better fighters than boys."She mummbled.

Ethan panted, staying silent. He now favored his right arm than his left. "Do you honestly think....you can beat me!" He said, charging at Drake, his sword drawn.

Hana looked on, rubbing snow onto her burning wound. "I agree with rose. We tend to think, instead of just charge..." She mumbled with a small smile on her face.

Drake turned,running off toward Rose.
"You can kill me if you can catch me you bastard."He yelled.

"So your running now, eh boy!" Yelled Ethan, chasing after Drake. He was a tad bit slow from blood loss, but kept up with Drake. He muttered under his breath and a blast of fire was sent to Drake.

Hana raised an eyebrow at the display. 'Why is Drake running? Well, whatever,' she thought with a shrug, 'He must have some kind of plan.'

Drake grinned,jumping up on snow covered rocks.He jumped up,watching the snow melt.
"Thanks!"Drake grined,sending shards of ice at Ethan.

"Your fast boy, but that will be your downfall." He yelled, dodging the ice attack. He used an illusion to make it look like the area in front of Drake, where he was running, was still snow, soft and powedery, while in fact he had changed it into ice. Laced with Magic, it became extreamly slippery. He smirked as Drake ran right for it.

Hana saw the illusion, but didn't know if Drake saw it, so she stayed silent.

Drake slipped slightly and jumped,sliding agenst the ice.

Ethan growled and pulled his Bow from his back and notched an arrow. He aimed, and fired. 'This'll teach the little bugger!' he thought to himself, small smile forming on his face.

Hana looked in on the fight. She had healed her wound and was now just watching.

Drake jumped in the air,landing on his feet.He caught his balance and sent a wave of fire at Ethan.

Ethan was running out of streangth. The pain, plus the blood loss and magic strain were beginning to be to much for him and when the wave of fire came, he knew he had no hope of dodging or putting up a barrier. He put his sword into the ground, grit his teeth, and took the flames head on. He panted, the fire burned his skin, singed his coat, but had sealed some of his wounds, preventing more bleeding. 'I didn't think...it would come to this...I will not....go alone...' he thought, a crazed look in his eye.
He got up, panting, and pulled out a long thin Kunai. It was the as long as the space between his elbow and wrist and would do just well for what he planned. 'I may not beable to kill this boy, but...I can make him unhappy for the rest of his miserable life.' he thought, his eyes gleaming red. He knew that his time was short. he looked at Drake, aimed the Kunai, and at the last minute, turned and threw it at Hana.


Hana, who was taking care of a few wounds she had overlooked, did not notice the Kunai till it was too late. She turned her head, fear evident from her eyes. Time seem to slow as she thought of some ways to avoid it. 'If I don't move, it'll go through my head, if I move, my stomach!....I have a little chance of surviving the stomach wound...' She thought, but instinct took over and she got up and turned to move out of the way. Her eyes widened, pain flaring from her back. Although she had moved, it seemed the Kunai had followed, stabbing through her stomach and out the otherside. She froze, and fell to her knees. The blood flowed through the wound, staining her hands and snow a deep crimson.

Drake twitched,standing up straight.A deathly glare in his eye.



Rose felt shivvers up her spine and raced to assist Hana.

Ethan grinned, he knew how hard it was to heal wounds like that and that Hana had a small chance of survival. He turned to Drake, "Heh. At least if I go down, I'm not alone." He said, and with the last of his strength, drew his sword and charged.

Hana, had gone very pale. SHe was on her knees, her hands on her stomach. Her breathing came in short gasps, if that at all. All she could see was blood. Warm blood, her blood, that stained the snow red.

Drake put up his sword,waiting.He clinched his fist and growled.




Rose gently pushed Hana back.
"Dont worry...it'll be alright."She whispered,taking a smal medical bag from her pocket.

Ethan drew closer and did a feeble slash to Drake. He was low on energy, he knew he had met his match. Someone of greater power than him. He was just glad he was able to take that wench with him.

Hana whimpered in pain. She wouldn't scream though, somehow, it was as though she couldn't speak. She complied to Rose request and laied back against the snow. Her eyes flickered a bit, before she closed them. Her breathing slowed as did er heart rate.
