Hana stood at the edge of the wood. It had taken her almost a month to get from her mountain, forest home to this one. Perhaps she could start anew here. Without the fear of people finding out her true power. Her true abilities she wished and longed to hide till she deemed right. She sat down on a fallen tree log and sighed. 'So quite. So...peaceful.' she thought to herself, allowing a small smile to grace her features. Hana pushed her silvery-blue hair back behind her pointed elf ear and let loose another sigh. 'So where do I go from here.' she thought to herself as she surveyed the land in front of her.

Drake slowly walked down a path of trees,growling low.He had a small dagger in his hand.
"I cant believe he is still alive!"Drake growled,stabbing a tree.

Hana gasped as she heard Drake and frowned. "What has the tree done to you. Be kind. They shelter you, do they not?" Said Hana as she surveyed Drake. He seemed a minor threat, then again, so did she. It oculd be a hoax. SHe stayed quite, making her face devoid of all emotion.

"No,they dont.All the trees are dead where I live due to no sun and little rain."Drake growled,trying to get his dagger out of the tree.

"They may be dead there, but here they are very much alive." She said calmly, feeling pain for the poor tree. As an elf, she felt for the wildlife and unlike people like this Drake, she knew that they felt pain as we do. "It would be unwise to hurt them." She said and removed his dagger with a simple pull and handed it back to him.

"Fine.I'll stop hurtin gthe tree once I kill that bastard."Drake said,snatching his knife from her.

Hana stayed silent. She blinked slowly at him before saying, "I'm afraid that is not good enough. To hurt trees because you are clouded by your own anger and because you can't control you emotions is no excuse. I shall repeat again. Please, refrain from hurting the trees. They have done you no harm." SHe said, her voice even. No emotion in it at all, except, perhaps, slight impaitance.

"Oh well...."Drake growled.

"Well what? Just because you are weak, does not mean you have to take you anger on these poor trees." Said Hana. She still had little to no emotion showing, but a slight light stayed behind her eyes.

"Not a wreck,just annoyed.A half-elf who use to work for me was supposidly suppose to be dead had some how managed to stay alive."Drake said,twitching slightly

"I am quite sorry for you predicament." Said Hana, blinking slowly. She sat back down on the fallen tree with a sigh. "But still, that is no reason for your actions."

"Dont sound like my mother.Killed her already."Drake said,sitting on the grass.

Hana blinked and tilted her head to the side in thought, "Why." Was all she said.

"She tried to kill me.Hired these two thgs to do it so she didnt have to."Drake said.

Hana's eyes showed sympathy, but her voice said otherwise, "Oh. Well, I am sorry for what your mother did to you. SHe diserved what she got, I suppose." She said with a slight sigh. SHe seemed to be doing that alot lately.

"She was ashamed that her son was a demon and next in line to take over an organization full of assassins and murderers.You would probably agree with her if you knew what was going to happen if I took that position back then."Drake said.

"Perhaps, but I know that not all demons are bad and have a reason for what they do." Said Hana. "So, perhaps not. I like to hear both sides of the story before I judge." SHe said, just then, a tree. Old in age and with weak roots gave a groan and started to fall...right where Hana sat. SHe stared up, knowing that if she moved at a high speed, her cover would be blown. She'd have to take the hit, and find a nearest town to heal her woulnds afterwards. SHe closed her eyes and braced for the impact, a small gasp of surprise escaping from her lips.

Drake had jumped to his feet,pushing Hana out of the way of the falling tree.
"You ok?"He asked.
The tree was on his arm.A small branch went through his arm.

Hana was shocked, that was the first time anyone has saved her from pain. She nodded yes, unable to speak for a moment. "Oh! Let me help you!" She said as she pushed the tree away, snapping off the tree branch connected to it. She looked over it, "I could...pull it out if you want." She muttered.

"No...I got it.Thanks anyway."Drake said,pulling the wood out of his arm.
He flinched slightly.
"You should be more careful."

"Sorry." She said her head bowed in some shame. "I..was surprised." She said after a moment of silence. "Thank you very much." Hana said as she pushed a peice of hair back and kissed him. In her forest tribe, it was how you showed thanks. You showed it through minor affection, a kiss or helping them out in return. So..she kissed him.

Drake blinked,blushing slightly.
"What was that for?"He asked.

Tori appeared in the tree above,chuckling slightly.He'd seen it all.
"Awwwww,the demented 14 year old has a soft side!"He said,turning into his human form.

"It is how my people show thanks or love. In this case, thanks. Why? Do you not do the same?" She asked slightly confused. She was blushing as well, but it was very light and you could hardly see it. She then pointed at Tori, "Whose he?" she asked quiestioningly.

"no....I dont.....and that is Tori.He works for me......"Drake said.
"Oh wow....that was funny."Tori chuckled,"I did not know you had a soft side."
Drake growled,throwing a rock at him.Tori ducked,laughing more.

Hana watched there little talk with amusment, but put that little tid-bit of information away for later use. 'Note to self, they don't show thanks through affection.' She thought, but she still needed a question answer. "Well then, how do you show sincer thanks then?" She asked, slightly confused. "Oh, and hello Tori. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Pleasure to meet you as well...also...we just say thanks and sometimes hug.Been around humans too long."Tori chuckled.
Drake growled.
"Just wait you stupid bird!"He said.

"oh. I will try to remember that then. Thank you." She said, not hugging or kissing this time. She had a small smile on her face and despite her usualy doom and gloom, she was feeling somewhat happy. 'It won't last long though.' she said with a mental sigh. "Ano...what is he waiting for?" She asked. 'God! I love playing a ditzy girl! It's so much fun! though I really didn't know about the thanks thing...' She thought.

"Not a problem.You have a bad aim little one."Tori chuckled,dodging another rock.
"We'll see about that."Drake said,throwing a rock at Tori's chest.
In attempt to dodge it,Tori just fell ofthe branch,landing on his back.

Hana giggled, then blushed because she giggled. "You two seem like good friends." She said with a smile. "I"m happy to have met both of you first. I've never been to Kyoko, nor out of my forest home. It is nice to meet such strange people." She said as she giggled again.

"Not really friends....just co-workers...I think.he'll kill me if I screw up anything."Tori said,sitting up.
"I can kill you now."Drake growled.

Hana smiled in a knowing manner, "So you say." She said. "Um...which direaction leads to the nearest town. I'm kinda lost..." SHe said with a sheepish smile.

"That way."Tori said,pointing toward Ren,"Now....I need to go back to the base.Bye."
He turned into a bird and flew off.Drake shook his head.

"Thank you." She said as she bowed, this time not kissing either of them. She walked through the edge of the forest...and screamed. In front of her was a big behemoth. It growled low and swung it's tail at her, flinging her into a tree and knocking her out. 'Dammit.' she thought.

Drake headed toward the scream and sighed.
"Not again.Alright...lets get this over with."He said,drawing his sword.

The Behemoth, who had Hana in it's mouth, put the girl down to the floor and growled. It's many tailes fanning out behind it. It let out a low growl, a warning to stay away. Slowly one of it's tailes wrapped around Hana's body and held her up into the air, it growled again and made to leave.

((Generally, it looks like this. Just imagine it REALLY big and with mulitple tails. I'm too lazy to describe it...))

"No you dont!"Drake growled.
He whistled loudly and a large raven swooped down.Drake ran at the behemoth,slashing one of its tails.

The Behemoth roared in pain and anger as it felt one of it's tailes slashed by a sword. It turned around, it's eyes flashing dangerously and ripped through the air, one of it's dangerous tailes. It turned fully around and let loose a rather big fireball heading stright to Drake.

Around this time, Hana, who was being held prisoner by a tail, awoke. "Nani...?" She said to herself, then freaked, acting on impulse rather than thought. She let loose a large volt of electricity making the Behemoth drop her...from about 40ft in the air. She cursed her bad luck and braced for the impact of her body to the ground.

Drake jumped out of the way,laughing.
"Is that all you got you oversized bird?!?! Ive seen a better attack from a drunen fire demon!"He said,whistling.
The raven flew over to help Hana.

Hana smiled as she landed on the giant Raven, "Thank you!" She said smiling, and turned to look over at the Behemoth closly. Around it's neck, was an insignia(sp) Of a oak tree surrounded by vines and lighting in the background. She gasped, 'The quenns dragon!' She thought to herself, then glared at the Behemoth. 'I'm not going back! I'm not going to be a tool.' she thought to herself and jumped off the Raven.
Summoning up her own little buddy, a large hawk, she pulled off her arrows. 'I'm not going back.' She steeled herself against teh wind and let some arrows loose. SHe grinned as the arrows burst into an icy fire and peirced through the dragons hide. It raored in pain.
"Drake! Aim for the spot I hit!" She yelled over to him, as the spot she had hit, was now vunerable to basic sword attacks.

"But thats no fun....its too easy!"Drake said,grinning evily
