Recently I have gotten into Manhwa. I just love all their stories and artwork. Favorites are Goong, Hot Blooded Woman, You're so Cool, Bride of the Water God, etc.
I have never read any Manhua because I can't seem to find any.
Manga's great too, of course, but recently i really like manhwa. :D
that's the korean version of a manga
and both of them are cool =)...as long as they have a good story, I don't care what type it is xD
hehehe ^_^ well if that is cool and very interesting why not to read it!
I love manga and anime ^_^ >XDD
I think this may have to be one of those stupid debate threads that won't have an exact solution, mainly because alot of people are gonna look at the titles more then whether it's from Korea or Japan. So, as far as I have to say none of them are better then the other. I think just the overall opinion is gonna have to sit.
As for myself, there's probably only 1 Manhwa title I've ever picked up and thought was any good, which was King of Hell. But every other title I seemed to have picked just generally sucked and found myself debating whether or not it was just because of the cover art that caught my eye, so I generally stray away from it and the fact that I don't see or hear many titles being recommended. So, it's really hard for me to just pick on my own.
Manga on the other hand is a bit different, just because there seems to be a wider variety of series and titles that can only be found, such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or Yotsuba&! Plus alot of reccomendations that I get, seemed to be pointed towards manga, which in turn is either something I'm already reading or have read, etc.
It's not that I'm not giving Manwha a chance, there's not many titles that seem particularly interesting, plus not to many of interest are being translated, so it's to give it a chance.
