I finally made time to come here and join, I watch alot of hockey, playoff time so playoff beard time, to bad for me I am hairless mofo...
The playoffs this year have gone as as I expected them to go... no surprises in the final four.
So who o you think well make it theirs to own the stanley cup this year.
I'd say edmonton, they as a team have the experience, along with enough intangibles to get the job one.
All of the other teams are marquee teams in the making, teams to watch for the next half decade.
Hockey like mohaa depends alot on smarts, not being stuck in a playing system (traps) finding new ways to get the job done.
To often people get stuck in their own patterns, and patterns expose weakness, and those are things the coaches watch out for, but getting other (the players) to see their weakness is what separates those teams that went to the big show, and the eventual cup winners.
The funny part of all of this, is I am a vancouver canuck fan, I hate edmonton, but saw in that team, a group of players who looked and found new ways of getting wins in the regular season, an now have be able to o that in the playoffs as well.
After 10 games into the season, I knew the canucks woul not make it this year, their year for the cup happened when they where locked out. Now their time has past, they well begin to rebuild, of course looking for a speed game and some faster defensemen...
It would be kewl if some one could do a mock up of the worse moments in the nhl this past season, that would be funny.
As far as this site is concerned, you'll most likely say this does not belong in this type of forum, but hell, make a funny animation for me with a canuck getting his brians bashed into the boards by a pip-squeak, that would make up for this past season.
I dought I well ever see an canuck stanely cup win in my life time now, so bash them for me now ok.
