Hi all! I've posted a message expressing my 'unhappiness' over Alfa 'snubbing' Singapore and leaving us out in most of Jay's activities. SOO i hope that all of you can sign up for an account
here and reply my post here:
http://www.alfamusic.com.tw/Forum/ForumMes...1&topicid=50701So that when Alfa sees that it gets alot of support, they might actually take notice.. and if they read.. it might lead to them.. remembering there's such a thing as Singapore? lol! Anyway yup! And i hope you can
spread the word and get as many people to post as possible! Don't need to say much, but preferably reply in Chinese like 我支持 or something

Thanks a lot!

For those more Chinese-illiterate people, this is a
rough guide i followed whilst typing out the message in chinese, but i toned down some parts, and i emphasized Jay was innocent in all these like Wenyong suggested

:
I am expressing the view of not only my own, but i'm sure many other Singaporean Jay fans whom like me, all feel rather snubbed in many of Jay's activities. For example, Jay has only held one single autographing session in Singapore for his first album and never held another one almost 5 years.
Jay is like the hottest star in Singapore - His concerts have the best ticket sales, his songs top the radio charts, his albums top the local RIAS charts...It is no wonder he already has a sizeable fanbase in Singapore. However, us Singaporean fans never get any oppurtunity to meet Jay other than for his world concerts, or for some rare promotional purposes like for Initial D's Red Carpet/ Gala Premiere in Singapore.
Some time ago, many China fans complained that they were not receiving the same treatment as the Taiwan fans. Alfa responded by saying for 'November's Chopin', all fans would receive the same poster since there was no discrimination. However, i would like to point out that the China fans really had nothing to complain about. Jay flies back and forth to China very often, be it for his recent Incomparable to Jay China Tour, or just for activities that he is the spokesperson of. What we fans really want is more oppurtunities to meet up and interact with Jay and not Jay freebies. However, this is hardly what we Singaporeans get. To be able to get up close to Jay for less than 10 minutes once in five years other than for a concert is hardly enough. Admittedly, Singapore's market is much smaller than Taiwan's or China's or most other countries, however, is this what Jay Chou is all about? About paying more attention to those bigger or newer markets he hopes to break into and neglecting those countries which have small markets and he already has broken into? I hope not.
This is especially highlighted this year in Jay's promotional tour. He will be having an autographing session in Malaysia on the 23rd of November. Malaysia is but a few hours away from Singapore by plane or even by car, so why is it Jay will not be making a stop in Singapore? I know his schedule is tightly packed, but regarding this 'snub', i can't help but feel rather unhappy.
I hope that Alfa Music will try to include more smaller countries in more of Jay's activities instead of only focusing on those new markets and the large markets (Japan, Thailand, Taiwan etc.) which it seems to be doing now. Thank you.
