Coming from Garth, The Buffalo Insider of all people:
this makes things a tad more credible...
Spoke with a friend who is close the Islanders. Mike Comrie may be available for the right price. Buffalo fans recall Comrie's act the opening weekend of the season, right?

Buffalo has a skilled forward in the AHL named Marek Zagrapan who went in the mid first round in 05 --they dont seem to very high on him anymore
its these types the isles should stockpile when/if cashing in on trading comrie ,satan etc..for deadline deals as these guys can jump into the lineup immediately or next season

Zagrapan is minus 17 with Rochester this year, with only 15 goals. Hilbert would score more than that in the AHL!

he likes playing for the isles (as per interview conducted a few weeks ago). good chance he'll be getting a good deal from Snow before the deadline. IMO.
If he does get traded, you think he's worth a 1st rounder?
