Title: Being in Vegas for the Superbowl

clebo99 - February 6, 2008 12:07 AM (GMT)
Hey Everyone,

Just got back from Vegas today to watch the Superbowl. If anyone ever has a chance do to that, do it.......I watch the game every year in the outside bar in front of Harrahs. Some of the fun included:

- A lot of "Let's Go Giant" chants. Easily more Giant fans than NE.
- Lots of "18-1" chants as well.
- At the end of the game, everyone "took a knee" for the last play.

Way to go Giants!!!!!!!

I was there for the game a few years ago...and it does rule. Actually it was the game where the Pats kicked the fieldgoal that won the game, and they were heavy underdogs. I guess everyone bet the Pats, because you could literally feel the whole city shake when that kick went in.
I have to say though, flying to Vegas for a long weekend to see U2 @ MGM trumps the Super Bowl IMO.

That's a nice trip as well.....I only had money on some prop bets. Won on "no score in the first 6:30 of the game", "first score was a non-TD" and "first score would be Giants FG".

The one where the Pats cheated by spying on the Rams last practice before the Super Bowl?
