Me and JBlake55 had the honor of attending the AHL All Star Classic in Binghamton this past weekend, and I must say..I had an absolutely awesome time. I got alot of autographs, got some photos with the Calder Cup and was able to have a minute of Jeff Tambellini's time. I will say, Jeff is a really nice guy. He took time well after the autograph session on skills competition night to sign autographs and when I missed him on the ice right before the session ended, I called over to him with a "hey tamby!" he turned around motioned to me 1 sec and skated back across the ice to sign my program and chat. I asked him about playing for Ted Nolan and told him we appreciate his effort with that I didn't want to bother him anymore so he shook my hand and even signed stuff for the kids in our section. I have always appreciated the AHL but All Star Classic weekend only furthered my love affair with this great sport of hockey.

Yeah, like i said..the game of hockey has become more than just being a fan for me..I absolutely love the game and I try my best to experience the game at all levels. And if it means immersing my friends in it as well..than so be it!! hehe I'm actually looking forward to getting up to Boston for the Beanpot Tournament this month and the NCAA Regionals in Albany

dude...have you ever been to Binghamton?? There is nothing there but the B Sens!!!! I can only imagine what happened when there was no hockey in that town. But they did put on a good show...

The AHL All Star Classic was a great time. Got to see a record fastest shot of 102.8, the first ever penalty shot in an AHL all star game, Tamby getting the game tying goal, and lots and lots of mascots who play hockey. Not to mention some game worn jerseys that if they were for sale, westfall18 would probably be homeless right now :goofy2:
