I voted four years, with the following conditions:
1. It is reasonable. How about 4 years and an average of $3m? Maybe cheap, but front load it, like $3.5, $3.5, $2.5, $2.5 and give him an NTC for the first two years.
Reason being I see him in the mold of Mark Recchi (however you spell it.) He's older, still has game.

Cain: I actually gave almost that same scenario to someone else about him.
I think that works well.
Of course I just want to keep him here till he retires from hockey and goes home and opens a golf course. But I'm selfish that way. ;)

I voted 4 years
The guy just gets better and better every year.
Since he joined the Isles, he improved every year. The guy went from a 4thliner/PK role player to an elite player in the league with this team. Blake flourished under Nolans system. Keep him for 4 years.

From all the rumors I'm reading there's quite a few people after him. I'd go for the four years and then try to resign him for a couple more. I really don't see him slowing down with age for some time now. Of course, resigning him at a few less bucks.
