IslandersTV is a revolutionary, innovative way to get close to your team. It's run by a small staff (3 or 4) that has total access to the team and their activities. It's been available to everyone for a couple of months now. Now it's time to tell the Islanders what you, the fan, thinks of it.

If you have technical problems with accessing ITV, please explain here what troubles you are having so the crack technicians at ITV know.

Every team should adopt this!

I like it a lot.

Sometimes I have problems with watching the content, however, I think that is more of a problem with my ISP than anything.

Sometimes the content gets to be redundant as I see it on ITV, FSN NY and then in-game. I'd prefer more exclusive content, personally.

Being an out-of-state fan - I'd like to know more about NVMC. I'd LOVE to have historical Islander content available to watch too.

I'd like segments like a day-in-the-life of a scout.

Finally, a where are they now segment covering all of the players that have moved on or are no longer playing would be fun.

Of course I like it.
I get to hear Chris King and Steve do commentaries that I would normally not hear.

I haven't watched it yet so I can't vote, but it seems like a great idea and I don't hear anyone complaining!

Now, who will it be, Steve or Sybo, that comes up with a comment about a hidden ITV cam in the Icegirls lockerroom? :o

I agree with that statement, for us out of Towner’s it really makes us feel like part of the team.

Now if only there was someone on my block that I could talk to about the Isles.

It's not the same as having someone's attention, but we are here all the time for you Older.

I'm forever thankful for that. I tried talking to the wife, but it's like her talking to me about shopping at the mall. Neither one will listen to the other. :D

Islanders TV is great and it more than fills the void of the lack of coverage
by the local media. However, there are times when I go days without
checking in.
Ultimately, the ideal channel for me would a cable/satellite ONDEMAND hockey channel
to surf a library of both current and classic games, events, interviews, best of fights, hits, goals and bloopers.


One can dream!

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ITV. I can't get enough of it. Great idea by Isles. I also LOVE Bossy's Blog and the team Blog. So glad they opted to keep it going all season long.

Although lately I have had some problems, like the screen going all green and blurry.

I enjoyed the piece with Bates,Parrish,Webb and Cairns. I think they should do more like that. Jason Blake with his wife and daughter was nice as well. Like to see the guys outside of hockey.

Shakey (that's the name right?) He's cool.

They need to mic the players more also, it's always fun to hear what is said in game, would love to hear Witt, he is a funny guy!

Being that I live in northern VA, I love it. It is another way to keep up with the team and get to know some of the personalities on and around the team. The bit about Gervais delivering pizza was terrific.

I am amazed that a Canadian team didn't come up with it first. It seemed like it would be a natural for the Leafs fans with how crazy they are. Then again, it shouldn't surprise anyone that the Leafs organization trails in innovations. They still play like it is 1965.

Good fan outreach, I think we are the only team to do this.

I watched the video of them watching the Leafs game.... they need to show the moment when we won tonight how the whole team was freaking out... just imagine if we win the Cup how crazy they will go it will def be amazing not only for them but for us!!!

Where is it over there? ...Yes it's excellent. It contais so much great footage especially post game shows are just so cool! I would like to see more interviews. I don't mean that we donät have them. But I want to get into players' minds :D
