Let Garth Snow and Charles Wang know what you think about offseason signings like Witt, Hill, Hilbert, Park, Kozlov, Simon, Poti, and Sillinger

Although not the SEXY names in the RFA and FA market this summer, they were definitely needs that the team wanted to address and did just that.

Faceoff Man - Sillinger
Puck rushing - shot blocking D-man - Poti
Physical D-man (intimidating) - Witt
Another strong stickhandling Center - Kozlov
Jack-of-all-trades man - Park

i'll say very good.. all the pickups have done their roles extremely well. but 2 holes stick out to me.. 2nd line center and maybe a more consistent offensive forward.


what prevents them from the excellent is not about wha they got, it's more about what they didn't get.


very good offseason playerwise though.

Kenny Wu... I mean Richard Park has been a great pickup.

Hill should be rolled down one though.

We have a great second line center. Unfortunatley it is not Mike York. It is Kozlov. If we can trade York for ANYTHING, once yashin gets back, i would love our centers to be 79,25,18,17. Then get Nillson or Comeau to fill the space left by York.

I would make this move in a heartbeat.

I think all those moves look as good as they do because of the one which isn't listed...Nolan (I know it was just for players).

Park and Sillinger have been pleasant surprises. Kozlov earned his pay simply by almost single-handedly destroying the Rangers. Witt has been a good physical presence. But it is the play of the TEAM that has really blown me away.

I'm so thankful that Nolan is in charge. It is the holdiay season, things are good, so I don't even want to think about what these moves would have looked like under a certain previous coach! But, of all the moves, I'd say Sillinger's play has been the best.

I loved and agreed with every single one of these signings this past off-season
and was laughed at for praising Hill and Poti.

Some still rank on Hill but his grit and leadership have helped Gervais and Martinek
and given a little more protection to our goalies.

By the way, I was supporting kozlov while everyone else was dumping on him. I loved his puck control, he has some sick hands and a 40 foot reach, and it seemed like he was waiting a split second too long and his shot or pass would be that split second too late. I said it was only a metter of time until he gets going.
I was also supportive of the poti signing, even while OUR OWN TICKET SALES REPRESENTATIVE ripped him straight to my face in september.
I called for Hill's head though, and I prefer my crow with a lot of salt for that one he is turning into one of my favorites although I still have to get a jersey with 39 and 24 on the beck before I even think about getting that of the 1000 year old man.

let it be known that many of us while we were called the "laughingstock" of the NHL came out supported the team, stood up for them, stood up for Wang and Snow..I think we the fans will be rewarded sooner rather than later.

Rate the job the front office did in regards to offseason player acquisitions.
