Title: 5 Greatest Islanders - GameTime Series
Description: #3 Bryan Trottier

As part of a weekly NYIC historical look back. This week we see the #3 all time Islander as documented in the NY Islanders GameTime magazine from 2000.

The greatest 2-way center to play the game. He could kill you on either side of the puck. Calder, Art Ross, Hart, and Conn Smythe Trophy winner.

As a defensemen you better not look away or the puck will be in the net, and as a forward you better not be caught with your head down or you'll wake up to smelling salts.

A great player, a great Islander and one of my all time favorite players. We're glad he's back with the Organization.

Arguably the best all round center ever! Though his was old, the Pens picked him up for the Cup runs. Primarily for his defensive skills, leadership and faceoffs abilities. Not to mention he could hit like a freight train!
