Anyone see this from the other night? This is a pretty scary hit. The kid who got hit is 16 and is now in critical condition with a fractured skull. The guy who hit him also hit Tavares last year from behind. He feels terrible of course but what a dirty POS.

Kid had a fractured skull and lacerations. He is breathing on his own.
Mr High Elbow was suspended indefinitely. Hope the OHL Commish is not related to Colin The Clown.

Good job by the OHL. That hit was disrespectful to the sport itself. I'm glad to hear that Liambas felt bad about the hit, but you have to recognize the seriousness of the action beforehand, not only feel the guilt afterwards. Any 4 year old feels bad when he gets yelled at, but a responsible kid/adult knows to temper his actions to not need to be yelled at.
